Anyone that knows me knows that I don’t complain about anything hardly. We get to go orders quite often. Last weekend they screwed up our to go order again so for probably the first time I called back and talked the manager. Manager took my name said it would be there for other managers so they would know to give me a free appetizer. Tonight I phoned in my order and picked out my free appetizer. Get to the bar and they told me they didn’t have any caramel for the caramel appetizer I ordered. Ordered something else. Guy then tells me the manager told him to tell me he didn’t know anything about my name. and a appetizer. I told the server to please be sure to tell the manager that didn’t have the nerve to come tell me themselves that I literally will never set foot in there again. We spend a lot in this store. The server said he was very sorry. I told him I knew none of them were sorry or we wouldn’t be where we were tonight due to a repetitive problem. This place was slacker then I thought any restaurant could be. I got the 9oz sirloin topped with shrimp and my friend got a different 9oz sirloin and my steak was half the size. When I pay for something I like getting what I ordered. Our server had such a rude attitude and pretty much forced us to close our bill so she could leave. When I went to order my steak rare the sever and the manager has no idea what I was talking about. You guys sell steaks yall should know how to cook a steak rare. The shrimp tasted like rubber and the steak was the poorest quality of meat I have ever had. The mashed potatoes were cold. The vegetables tasted like metal. What a waste of 60 dollars and the server didn’t seem to care about how bad our meal was. I waved at the manager and he also didn’t seem to care. Worst experience of customer service. I have never wanted to walk out before such as this experience. Oh and before I forget our beer mugs were dirty as well. Will never return to Applebee’s.

I hate to pile on the poor reviews, but this Applebee’s has gone downhill. On a recent visit, we were handed dirty, sticky menus. Our server was prompt and friendly, but she had to apologize for management’s mistakes: the restaurant was out of lemonade, Dr Pepper and Sprite. When our food came, I asked for Tabasco. They were out of that, too. The margarita I had was weak and had little flavor. Almost everyone in the place couldn’t help but notice that the bartender was struggling with a blender that was making awful sounds. like it had seen better days. sort of like the restaurant itself. The corporate office needs to pay a visit and get this place back on track.fast.

Actually i rather give ¼th of a star. Menus were disgusting. Staff unfriendly. Ended up walking out. Didn’t want to waste money on an establishment ran so poorly. Not to mention, a member of the waitstaff was smoking, out front, in uniform. Watched her walk back in and go straight to her section. Yuk! You guys will never handle my food and it is obvious why your parking lot is always empty.

Greeting upon arrival less than happy and nice. This is at 7:51PM on Friday night. Seated at table, server finally approaches us and takes our drink order. Returns over 5 minutes later and drops off drinks and disappears. The place is less than ½ full. Not busy at all. She returns, takes our order and it takes 41 minutes to deliver a chicken salad, 4 cheese mac with chicken strips and grilled chicken and potatoes. No manager ever stopped by. No explanations as to why it took 40+ minutes to get our food. The general feel is we are inconveniencing the staff as they have other things they’d like to be doing.

Is no stars a category?! This place is the pits! My group and I waited for over 2 hours for food. You know its bad when the appetizers arrive with the main dishes. The last person in our party received her food about 15 minutes before closing time and in addition it didn’t taste good. This was my first time coming to an Applebee’s and I am from Los Angeles, CA. I hope this location isn’t an indicator of how these restaurants are across the country.

I would not have expected such consistently horrid, cruddy service from a chain that prides itself on good customer service, but this particular location is utterly abhorent in service. I have been there 5 or 6 times, not just once but I won’t be going back. The latest fiasco was sitting at the bar. I ordered a Turkey sandwich with a side of veggies instead of french fries. I was brought a BLT. I didn’t know that until I bit into it. I ate half that sandwich not want to wait for another one to be brought out and my stomach started churning. I was not given utensils to eat the vegetables and a customer on their way to the restroom actually brought me a set — the bartender neither noticed nor cared. She never bothered to ask anything about my food nor did she do anything about the wrong sandwich being served until I finally said something to her after waiting for any kind of interest. «Ummm, this is the strangest turkey sandwich I have ever had. There isn’t any turkey on it». Ohhhh, she replies, I’m sorry. No, I don’t want something else, this half a sandwich has made me sick. I want the sandwich taken off the bill. All this time, the store manager was standing close by but not close enough to say anything to him. I caught his eye several times trying to get his attention. He looked at me but continued on to tables chatting with people. After the bartender got his attention, he disappeared to apparently take the food off the bill. When he reappeared, he was BEHIND me, staring at my back! He NEVER approached me and apologized like I would expect from any other member of managemennt at the numerous other Applebee’s I have visited and one I used to frequent before I moved out here(at 24th street and Baseline in Phoenix, AZ) Ummm, I paid the bill and exited. The 2 people working at the front said nothing, which also was quite unusual for an Applebee’s. I went again yesterday with some friends. It was $ 5.99 any hamburger on the menu Tuesday. I was served a swiss burger that was completely raw on the inside. I don’t mean red, I mean raw. I grew up eating raw meat so that didn’t bother me as much as most people would have objected, I ate it anyway without saying anything but my friends noticed it and were aghast. We were given the bill. The two hamburgers they ordered were at normal price, not at the $ 5.99 price. Well I’m sorry, the waitress begins to say„ we don’t offer that particular burger at that price. The sign on the window sitting right there was pointed out, ANY burger. Ohhh. It took that same manager as the one the previous incident over 10 minutes to remove it from the bill. I have other stories from previous visits as well. I would simply suggest avoiding this place and going about 3 miles north up the road to Chili’s. Excellent service, good food and no BS. Additional: Came back here to check any reviews on this place. This restaurant is getting an overwhelming bad score. You’d think Applebee’s would do somethinga about it. The Applebee’s I used to frequent in Phoenix had outstanding service and quality food. I was on a first name basis with several staff there. This one here? I can’t imagine what they think is appealing walking into a restaurant with a couple staff standing there looking at cellphones or babbling or stuffing their heads into their faces and completely ignoring the customers.

Food Thai salad w/shrimp not bad, beer w/orange slice with the sticker sliced through(wrong) service was good and friendly. So service earned the stars food wasn’t bad but the Orange w/sticker sliced through and still stuck to the Orange was the kicker that brought this down a star!!!

It’s a pretty standard Applebees but I always get great service, probably because I tend to know my servers(mostly college students from where I teach) and we’re super nice/chatty with them throughout the evening. They are super willing to swap things out to meet my dietary restrictions. We often get the cowboy burger, no bacon, no cheese, no meat(swapping in seasoned portabellos instead), add jalapenos. No matter what we order, it’s always been tasty.

New dishes are tasteless. Empty restaurant and still takes 20 minutes to get your check. My husband ordered his steak cooked medium, it came to the table mooing. They recooked the same steak. It came back with cold potatoes and still bleeding. They offered to throw the SAME steak back on the grill AGAIN. I ordered my dish without bacon and received the whole pig. They took the dish away, pulled off the bacon, and returned it. Add insult to injury, the bread was stale and cold too. The manager NEVER made an appearance.

This is one of the most un appetizing eateries in the area. Super slow service, and food that is poorly prepared at best. Consider yourself lucky if you even get the food you ordered, as the student wait staff couldn’t care less if they get it right.

This has to be the worst Applebee’s in the chain. Service at this location was terrible. Restaurant was not busy on a late Saturday afternoon but the waiter acted like he was so rushed. He had 3 tables! Every time he made a mistake he blamed someone else. There were 3 people in our party and they brought out 2 plates of food and I assumed the other would be be out in just a minute. Kept waiting and finally had to tell him and he acted like he didn’t realize that he had brought out only two orders. Wrong drinks were brought and he blamed the kitchen! Food was ok — nothing great. Will not return to this location.

Don’t have all you can eat anymore… which if you got something that was not that great you could make up for it with something else. I ate at the Applebee’s in Marshall, TX and it had to be one of the absolute worst meals of my life… I made a mistake of ordering a steak — rare. Out came the thinnest meat possible that was grayish in color and not a hit of pink. It was impossible with that thin of a meat to put it on the grill and flip it even without cooking out all the red. I might, and I repeat might try an Applebee’s in DFW Metroplex… but I can assure you I will NEVER eat at the one in Marshall, TX… it was disgusting.

Needless to say, there aren’t many restaurant options in Marshall. Applebee’s seems like a safe choice, but this is the worst one I’ve ever eaten at. Been here three times(never again!) and each time has been terrible. The service is ok, but something nasty is going on in the kitchen. They can’t get orders right, the food comes out very slowly, and it’s not well cooked. Think they can’t screw up a steak in Texas? Think again — they ruined three steaks in one order. Not only were they lukewarm, but they were strangely rubbery. Think you can get away with ordering a salad? Think again — the produce is old. Think a sandwich is safe? Beware of mayo overdose and greasy«toasted» bread. Think food poisoning is not so bad? Maybe you should eat here and find out the truth. –UPDATE– Two coworkers didn’t get my warning and recently visited. One was pleasantly surprised at the mediocrity of his Philly cheesesteak. The other decided to eat 4-day-old Bodacious ribs rather than his lunch.

You get what you pay for. and it’s chain restaurant food. The portions got smaller from what I was used to in the past with Applebee’s. The service was slow. It was post lunch time and it wasn’t that packed. However, the waitress still managed to take her time(almost 30mins) getting our orders. She never checked how we were doing until she gave us the bill. We tried flagging her down but she was busy chatting with a coworker. The food was less than impressive; I had some chicken concoction that was very rubbery and dry. Let’s just say if I had to choose our next dining experience, this place will be at the bottom of the list.

It’s an Applebee’s, pretty much like every other Applebee’s in the world. They are great for big groups. It’s almost entirely staffed by college students, so understandably service is hit or miss, but let’s be honest here, this is Marshall, it’s not like there are a lot of options. This place is clean, they are pretty quick and generally nice, it’s got my vote.
