Went for a family dinner on a Saturday. Service and food were great. I ordered the Pig Trough and it was amazing. Monday’s they have $ 1 off Mexican food? Try the burrito it’s off the hook.

Stucko’s is the kind of place that you go when one of your close friends dies or some other horrible disaster has befallen you. Therefore, I have been there many times this past year. It is exactly what it seems to be, and though my partner said the hamburger meat is slightly underseasoned, and the gravy for the poutine is not as complex as might be ideal, it serves up solid pub fare for a decent price. The french fries are very well seasoned, the cheese curds are crisp and gooey, and the pesto they use in the gourmet grilled cheese sandwich is fantastic. They have a wide selection of beers on tap, including several Michigan and UP brewers, as well as a full bar. The prices on beer are good, which is nice when you have to pour a little bit out for your fallen brothers. There’s a definite college vibe(it’s very close to the university), but you can usually find enough space away from others to allow your macabre thoughts to take over your whole life while you drink your aquarium-size beer. Four stars for being exactly what you expect of it, the only comfort in the unending disaster that is human existence.

Bummed came to try this great food everyone was talking about but the menu changes at a certain time. Waiter was super cool, good drink looks like a cool place to hang. Will come earlier next time I’ll be back 4sho

Love this place for really good bar food and beer. It always surprises me because it is such a laid back bar atmosphere and the food is amazing. Always better than expected. Very friendly staff. This is a sports bar though so it is often busy and loud. Not a quiet dinner spot, more of a great hangout and fabulous food. Their whitefish is so good.

Even though the have a great patio, they aren’t really pet friendly. No dogs allowed on patio

Had dinner here with couple of friends. Definitely a pub/bar atmosphere. Had the wings for appetizer – they were pretty good. 3.5 stars. Had the flamin’ hot wings – not too hot comparative to ‘hot’ at other places. The wings have a light breading. I had the Pig Trough sandwich, which is pulled pork topped with coleslaw on a big toasted bun. It was very good. Well-portioned and very flavorful. The bun was toasted just right. The pulled pork was really tasty. The menu has lots of creative sandwiches and dishes. My friends had the poutine and nachos and said both dishes were really good. The Nachos are a huge plate of food! They opted for pulled pork on top and said it was very good. Service was good too.

My husband and I stopped into Stuko’s for a bite to eat. The menu had many inviting entrée’s. We decided to share a pulled beef burrito. The burrito was delicious and we had all we could do to finish it! Stuko’s also have a good selection of beers and drinks. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly. I am looking forward to our next visit!

Great food. I nice amount of options. I had the BBQ pulled pork sandwich. It was one of the best I have had. They had a really good list of beer. Really laid atmosphere. We sat outside and it was really enjoyable and relaxed. One more reason I should move to Marquette.

It’s one of the regrets of my life lately that with their recent menu/price changes, I can’t afford to eat at Stucko’s nearly as often as I used to – nor as often as I’d like to, since pretty much everything they offer is delicious. I’d say it’s closer to «pricey» than«moderate» when it comes to meals($ 25 or so for a burger, side of onion rings, and two or three beers), but certainly worth it.

This is a pub in the UP. No fancy napkins or bottled water on the table, this is pub grub and good beer. Friendly staff and cool atmosphere. Definitely try the burgers. I had the one topped with bacon, onion rings, and a spicy bbq sauce. Awesome! They also do a decent rendition of poutine, that heavenly Canadian dish of french fries, fried cheese curds, and gravy. A great local beer selection including several UP breweries. Worth a stop!

Great burger and Black-n-Tan with pick axe blonde suggested by our server. Definitely a treat. Low key casual, great food and knowledgable service. Stays on the«A» list.

The nearly-cooked frozen hamburger was the highlight of our meal. We will not be going back to the less than mediocre dump.

I have been here for lunch twice. They had lots of lunch options without being overwhelming. They also have daily lunch specials and the soup changed each time I went. I had the grilled cajun chicken sandwich the first time I went with french fries. It was really good! And the second time I had the buffalo chicken wrap with bleu cheese which was fantastic! It was so large I could only eat half for lunch and I couldn’t wait to eat the other half for dinner. Their craft beer selection is great — if they don’t have it on tap check with your waitress or bartender if they have it in a bottle — they most likely will. The atmosphere is fun with the ceiling tiles decorated with local businesses and mascots. There are several TVs in the main dining and bar area that always have sports on. I would come here again, even for barhopping.

I got the Reuben to go so I can’t speak on the food. I reward this place only 3 stars… for the moment! I have yet to drink here but damn it I will have a pint here soon. Cool place, really is, great place for a pint with friends. If you haven’t been to Marquette before, it’s a neat little city. Tucked away on the Upper Peninsula surrounded by Michigan landscape on Lake Superior. Back to the bar. Yes, this place serves local beer and yes it is very good. Michiganians(sp) have a knack for a hefty beer especially one that will keep you warm in these damn winters.

Beer was cold. Burgers were burnt to a crisp we didn’t eat them. Waitstaff was ok. It’s an alright place for drinks but I won’t be going back for lunch.

We went to Stucko’s for the first time today and LOVED it. Nice selection of beers on tap, and several were local brews. Good bottled selection, too. But the main thing is that it is a welcoming, cozy place with really good food. It’s a definite bump up from«bar food.» We sat at the bar, talked Eric’s ear off, and had an all around great time.

Went for lunch. Typical greasy bar burger. But the staff was friendly and informative. Make sure to get a shoop(32oz. Beer chalice). This is a solid venue with great local beer and food.

Before The Ore Dock Brewery opened, this was my favorite place in MQT to grab a drink with friends. They have nightly drink specials, usually pretty good. But they have good prices besides that too. «The Shoop» is kind of their thing when it comes to an iconic symbol of Stucko’s. A Shoop is a chilled 32 oz goblet of draft beer of your choice. It is a must if you’re thinking about getting a beer. They have a pretty extensive bar food menu, but a majority of the options seem to be on the high side of moderately priced. The food is tasty though, don’t get me wrong. The price could very well be worth it for a lot of people, and it is usually pretty speedy too. Only one time have I gotten a dry hockey puck on a hamburger bun that was quite sub-par. The bathroom is a little janky if you ask me, but hopefully you will have thought about«Dropping the kids off at the pool» before you decided to go out drinking. My one complaint about Stucko’s is the temperature. If you sit at a table by the west wall, you will be so hot you’ll be rubbing the ice cubes from your drink all over your face. If you sit at any of the tables in the middle of the main room, you will need a fur pelt just to stay at 98.6. They are real sticklers on IDs too. So all you kids with fakes, keep walkin’.

Stucko’s is just fine. The food is ok, and they serve drinks and have TVs on which to watch games. But, that’s pretty much all there is to it. Burgers there tend to be a little overcooked, the nachos are — fine. Just like most bar nachos.
