Embrace Salon and Spa

I definitely have to give Embrace 5 Stars, mostly because I think my stylist, Nicole, is their best asset.
I came to Nicole over a year ago looking to find someone who understood my hair type and who would be able to cut it in a way that would enhance it’s natural waves and curls with little to no effort on my part. I am very low maintenance yet I am very finicky about my hair. I don’t want to have to spend hours working on it, but I want it to look good.
I explained all this to Nicole up front and even expressed my fear of getting a bad cut because I have had so many before. Not only did Nicole actually LISTEN to everything I had to say and take it to heart, based on what I told her I was looking for (low maintenance but looks great) she was able to give me the best haircut I have had since my last favorite stylist left (who, coincidentally was also an employee of Embrace).
Nicole took her time, explained what she was doing, asked me what I thought about this and that throughout the cut and kept me as involved in the process as she was. Not once did I feel like I was in anything but capable hands and at the end I was completely in love with my hair cut. She styled it beautifully and explained to me what she was doing so I could do it myself at home.
I love Nicole! Nicole works at Embrace, so I love Embrace! Another bonus are the products they use. Euphora is a wonderful organic line that makes my hair feel so soft and healthy and it smells wonderful. Everytime I come home from getting my hair done my boyfriend asks me if I am wearing new perfume because I smell so good.
Embrace is definitely one of my favorites!

A perfect spa day during my visit to Marquette! Nicole gave me my mani/​pedi which was a completely relaxing experience. they use organic products, not the typical uv lights, etc. there isn’t a massaging chair, but you get to relax in a nice soft chair and you’ll get a great foot and hand massage. i was really happy with the pedicure, not as happy that the manicure chipped shortly after leaving. they don’t use dryers, so air drying means keeping your hands still for a while, i’m not good at that. While i got my nails done, we talked about hair and nicole ended up doing my hair right after my nails. great service. she made sure to discuss everything with me before we began and she told me i could come back or a touch up if the color wasn’t exactly what i wanted. i did end up doing this and she spent a good amount of time on it again, and there was no charge. now i’m pleased as pie. everyone here was super friendly and helpful, when they ordered lunchthey were nice enough to order for me as well. this is a real gem in the small town of marquette.
