Romeo’s, Romeo’s, Romeo’s… What can I say? For all the four-and-five star reviews this place is not the best for pizza in the area. I once had a few pizza slices that were so dry – without enough cheese and sauce. Though, this place is A-OK for the pizza prices BYTHESLICEONLY. If you want anything else you’re talking paying upwards of $ 10 an entrée. I’m not certain that the quality of food is worth $ 10+, though some people in Marlboro rave about the food. I just don’t see it, to be honest. Recently whilst here I paid $ 30 for a hamburger, a whole Eggplant Parmesan sub, a dinner-sized container of pasta, and a Diet Coke. That’s all that I ordered, nothing very fancy. I specified that I wanted an Eggplant Parmesan sub. Got home to discover that it was actually a Chicken Parmesan sub. And, I was dismayed to realize that the hamburger I ordered was nowhere in sight. Clearly someone got the order wrong. I feel as though if you’re paying $ 10-$ 30 for anything, it really has to be spot-on. Which is sad, because the guys that work here are sweethearts.

Moved to Marlboro about a year ago and we’ve been on the hunt for«our» pizza place. Sadly, I didn’t even know this one was so close because it’s the best one we’ve found yet. The pizza is good, the guys making it are incredibly friendly and I love that they know everyone and are so happy to take care of us. This is our second time in and I think we may have found«our» place =)

Fantastic food and super friendly service. The food doesn’t taste like it’s been sitting out all day and is one of the cleanest in town.

It was the first time I went here and the pizza was the best pizza I have ever tried!!! The garlic knots were amazingly yummy!!! The desserts they served were some of the best desserts I have ever had! The service was great(and they knew my uncle who took us there, which helped)! I must come here every time I visit New Jersey!

Since I moved here from north of the border of Connecticut(Massachusetts wastelands), I can’t stop wanting pizza. It has been three long, suffering years of horrible food. I saw that this place offered the pizza by the slice. I love that idea. I have to say, it was just ok. The slice was small and tasteless. The crust was chewy and thin. You would have to eat at least two or three to not feel hungry. I am finding better places than this to have my pizza. Sorry.

I have been going to Romeo’s for years with family and friends and LOVE the pizza here! I live out of state so when I go home we try to stop by Romeo’s! The pizza is great and the other food is really good too! I recommend the chicken parm– generous portions and a delicious meal. NJ pizza… so good! In short, delicious, reliable and an all around great place.

If you can’t have any gluten do not order their gluten free pizza. Ordered one for my child that has celiac when the owner took it out of the oven it was on a clean metal tray and he used the same pizza slider that he used for the regular pizza to remove the gluten free pizza to the box. If I wasn’t there and I picked it up my child would have gotten very sick. I would not order his gluten free pizza as it is not gluten free for it touched other pizza crusts. The owner was very nasty and starting yelling at me in front of other people. He was very rude I will never set foot in this place again. He is very lucky my child didn’t eat this pizza.

I thought the pizza here was pretty good, but my dad didn’t feel too well after eating here so we haven’t been back for several years. Take this review with a grain of salt.

This is your typical New Jersey Pizza and Italian Restaurant. Hey, what’s that supposed to mean? Im glad you asked. The typical pizza place is busy, dependable and just a little crooked. Romeo’s caters to construction workers, industrial park employees and nurses who need a quick no nonsense lunch. Romeo’s does not disappoint with regard to the pizza. Various pizzas are displayed nicely and the plain pies are ready to rock as well. For six dollars you get a grandma slice, a slice of plain and a large fountain soda… but the receipt says $ 5.25. Don’t dare argue. Hector might be the one who heats the bread but Tony is the enforcer.
