We had a nice time here! Eric and I got along famously. We saw a cottontail rabbit, deer and a flock of wild turkeys nearby.
It was a bit far from Yosemite. 30 miles one way up the «S» roads takes a long time!
Actually it seemed like I had to do a lot of driving on this trip…
Mariposa is a cool little town close by.
It was a nice little getaway for us — wish we could have stayed 2 more days!

Sometimes life throws a big curve ball and we’re dealing with loss of a job and unexpected medical bills! We were so looking forward to a short escape to the Digs, however we had to cancel and gave a months notice. We had requested the return of the reservation deposit to help with what was thrown our way, however… said money has not been returned. Be very careful when booking, they are quick to cash the check, but they don’t seem to have the human compassion which would be most appreciated right now. Establishments such as this one give most a bad name and leave a bad taste for the public. It’s too bad, but somethings are out of our control. Lesson learned, unless you have money to throw away, do not book!!!
