This is the best place in Marion to get craft brew! The pizza is great! The wood fired breadstick are a bit sweet which works well with the awesome beer cheese. And don’t forget the deep fried cup cake!

I can’t deny that my friends and I have avoided this place due to the bad reviews about service and food. After going last night, it was clearly a stupid decision to have ignored the place for so long. We started out with the pickle fries, fried mozzarella triangles and the nachos. The nachos were my personal favorite, the chip layer having consisted of fries, homemade chips and tortillas. Two of us ordered pizzas while the other two ordered sandwiches. My cautionary tale lies in the 5 Alarm Pizza. I can usually handle spicy food but this pizza, although tasting delicious, can and WILL light your ass up. All in all, it was great food and really not a terrible price. 3 apps, two pizzas, two sandwiches and two mixed drinks coming in at around $ 90.

I’m a regular at Twenty-Nine Brew Pub. I enjoy craft beer and David always has a nice and ever changing selection. He even brews his own beer.(try the Front Porch Ale!) I’m also a fan of wood fired pizza with real, fresh ingredients. 29 has that! I am a fan of the Quad Pizza but I order it with their ghost pepper cheese. The 4 different pepperoni they use for this pizza are all different and the ghost pepper cheese gives it quite a zing! As far as appetizers I love the Pub Pretzels from the wood fire oven with their beer cheese sauce! For lunch, they have a $ 5.29 special. My fav is the three-cheese grilled sandwich with tomato bisque.

Everything was pretty ok. The chips however are worth the trip in themselves. I feel they could take their excellent pizza toppings to the next level by seasoning their sauce. Thensauces just fall flat. Toppings are great though.
