The Joint ...the Chiropractic Place

I had a positive experience here and the price is unbeatable if your insurance doesn’t cover chiropractics ($ 19 for first visit, $ 25 after that — may have been a promo offer) The chiropractor I saw has a background in neurology and provided more a holistic health assessment than I expected, not just an in-​and-​out adjustment. The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming, too. I’d go back except they don’t take insurance; I can get treatment elsewhere w a low copay.

Other Joint locations like the one in Buckhead have helpful chiropractors, and have been very good, but my experience at this location was very bad– I will not be returning.
After injuring my back, I was concerned that I had a bulging disc because my lower back was very painful and red/​inflamed. I went in to see one of the chiropractors at this location and asked him about it. Instead of giving me any helpful advice or acting like he cared in the least, he simply ignored most of my questions about what I should do and didn’t bother to respond. Basically his whole attitude was that my issues weren’t his problem. After repeated questions, he said that I should go to the hospital and get an MRI if I was worried about my back! Unbelievable. I recommend boycotting this location altogether– I will not be returning. Don’t support this kind of arrogance and un-​professionalism.

In the last year I started going to the Chiropractor due to the demands of my career and since I have joined The Joint I feel like I am making a very wise and healthy choice! The location is perfect for me and I really appreciate the staff! I must also say that Dr. Tucker has been more than wonderful in getting me on the right track to take better care of myself.
