I received the worst haircut of my life at Salon Joiere. Please save your hair, money, and tears and go somewhere else.
I worked for months to grow out my hair, but needed a cut and style. I clearly expressed that I wanted my hair to be past my shoulders. I would have never imagined that the hair on the side would be at my ears, yet long and uneven in the back. Essentially, I had a mullet. I worked so hard to grow out my hair, and am deeply saddened. She asked if it was too short at the end, but at that point it was too late. I had to answer that it was fine or I would have burst out in tears. I cried the whole way home.
Additionally, she never discussed her prices. After cutting my hair using a squirt bottle, she I would like to be styled. I said yes. After cutting it, she washed and dried my hair. She charged me $ 45 for a haircut, and an additional $ 55 to wash and dry it. After her 25% «new client discount» and a $ 3 payment processing fee, my total was $ 78. Again, I couldn’t think to argue with the charge because I was in the verge of tears at the horror of my hair.
I contacted her the following day to express my dislike and ask for a refund to offset the cost of having my hair fixed at another salon. She never responded. Save your hair, money, and tears and go to another salon.

I’m so glad that I have found a stylist that is close to home and does excellent work! I went to CJ at Salon Joiere and she impressed me from start to finish. Not only did she do a great job coloring, trimming, and pressing my hair, but the products she used allowed it to stay looking great longer than usual. CJ is a very professional stylist that cares about the end product of her work and aims to keep your hair healthy. I would definitely recommend her services to anyone!

I have had my share of poor experiences when it comes to going to the salon. I actually told myself that I would give it one more try and if it was a bad experience I would cut all my hair off and start over. CJ is a true beautician she made me feel beautiful inside and out. She also confirmed that I was going crazy when I was telling her all the things that was wrong with my hair. I deeply recommend that if you have concerns and need help please reach out to her. The atmosphere was great! She explained everything she was doing and even gave me tips on what to do when I got home. Love it!!! The consolation aspect of having a salon was very thorough. All of my concerns were mentioned she left no stone unturned. I will definitely returns and I will be sure to spread the word to everyone I know. P. S. She even have discounts!!! Amazing.
