Garvey’s West Indian Grocery & Restaurant

I can’t believe I’m the first to review. All my people love this place. Rice & peas. Oxtails. The have all the usuals. I’m not a huge fan of Jamaican /​West Indian food — so this is a review by proxy.
My buddy is on her way to pick up a call in /​take-​out order right now. It took us over an hour of googling «Jamaican food 30 064» and «Jamaican food Powder Spring’s Road» — with no results other than Natty’s on Powder Spring Street. We finally had to do a Google map search for a nearby intersection — then go to ‘street view’ — then zoom in to see the actual name of restaurant. Hopefully this review will give them a web presence and provide bread crumbs to help others find them.
The strip mall /​plaza is a little sketchy. And there are lots of dudes standing around outside — possibly patrons of adjacent barbershop. Strong, strong smell of herbal refreshments — but hey! It is what it is. ;-)
