My favorite wing spot! Don’t go for the half priced day — the wings are half the size. One any other day the wings are big, juicy, and hot — just like my women! Even better when they are covered in ranch — just like my women, sugar foot!

If I could give less than a star I would. I will not be returning to this establishment nor will I advise any of my friends, family, or co-workers to do so. I ventured here with co-workers on our lunch today based upon rave reviews on the spinach salad from their previous trips to this bar. We arrived at 11:40 to a pretty empty bar so we expected our food would come out pretty quickly. We received a few looks when we walked in as we were the only people of color except a guy we saw in the kitchen. I didn’t think anything of it, but I probably should have. Once we sat down our server came out to take our order, but she never introduced herself so I cannot tell you her name. She was not overly friendly, but I overlooked it as we were all hungry and ready to have an enjoyable lunch. Our orders were placed by 11:45 and by 12:15 we still had no food. Mind you other patrons that came in after us received their food before we did. How long does it take to prepare salmon? I mean really?! The plates finally came out at 12:20 after asking another waitress what the delay was. By this time our lunch break was almost up so we had to have the salads boxed up. This took another 5+ mins to do. By this point everyone in my party was pissed off as we spent our entire lunch hour without actually being able to eat. The boxes were brought out and there were only a handful of salad greens, barely visible quantities of tomatoes and bacon, and no onions or eggs at all. Our server was not the slightest bit apologetic and would barely make eye contact with us. She actually seemed irritated that we had the audacity to even question the situation. Our checks were dropped off and she walked away without a word. We each looked at the measly salads in question that we were expected to pay $ 10 a piece for. Not acceptable! We asked to see a manager and once again our server acted clueless and kept repeating I don’t know what else you would like me to do. Finally, we had enough after sitting there for another 5 mins without any members of management coming to the table. So we got up to leave. She walks up and says again I can’t find anyone to come speak to you. What? You don’t have anyone on site who can actually make a decision on how to take care of a customer?! Well, guess what… we don’t want your food and we are not paying. We tell her this and she dismisses us as if she is glad to be rid of us and says well do what you want to do. I have NEVER been treated with such apathy and disrespect at all of the restaurants and bars I have visited in my adult life! During the entire visit not one other person of color came into the bar which spoke volumes to the way we were treated. Horrible service, horrible food, and definitely not a place I will ever visit again!

The beer is cold and the community of people that come here are amazing. The wings are awesome extra crispy. New management is awesome love the new updates.

A good local place. Been coming here with my old man for years. Good beer specials and Tuesday’s is the best place for wings(2 for 1). Bartenders and staff are always friendly and greet the locals with a handshake. Only reason not 5 stars is the lack of decent HDTV’s — for a sports bar ancient tube TV’s and non-HD makes for a bad viewing experience. Also, busy nights mean long waits for 1 toilet. But those negative aspects aside, a good place for a good beer and a good vibe

Have been to Rocco’s probably 8 times over the last 5 years and have always enjoyed it. Saturday night was a different story. Service as always was excellent but the food was really not good. I had grilled salmon but it had no flavor and seemed to have been cooked with a microwave. Wife had fried fish sticks that were also unremarkable. Across the table our friend had fried shrimp that was rubbery and not good. So that’s 3 seafood dishes and maybe that was the problem… ordering seafood at a pub. On the bright side, tater tots were good. I have low food standards but the salmon was one of the worst dishes I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Leaving at 8 pm, every single table inside was empty although there were a few folks at the bar. But there couldn’t have been more than 6 paying customers in the entire place(once our party of four left). Won’t go back unless there’s word that food quality has improved. Always friendly wait staff.

I couldn’t decide on where to have dinner last night[Friday], so I just got in the car, asked God to direct me and drove off. Heading north on Cobb Parkway, I turned right at the Big Chicken and in a parking lot near the I-75 overpass,“shazam!”, there it was/is. Well, I very rarely drink alcohol, never smoke, and have a hard time breathing when others light up so, I second-guessed the clarity of my «God-radar» transmission. Entering the pub I was cheerfully greeted by a waitress that invited me to sit wherever I felt comfortable, so, after washing my hands, I headed for the outdoor deck. Too much baloney already, so I’ll stop the fluff and make a long story short… Good surprise to me;this night on the deck was karaōke, which I love, but hadn’t done in years. As I came to eat, the grilled salmon with two sides was very good. So was the turkey&swiss. My waitress, Lisa, was helpful and attentive with an uplifting demeanor. I really enjoyed myself here, as the food was fine and the friendly folks were very encouraging and appreciative to all karaōke performers. All in all, I had a very good dinner and a joyful evening at a cordial neighborhood bar which The Holy Spirit led me to.

What is happening at Rocco’s? I’ve been going there for years, but it has been going downhill rapidly for the last few months. The bartenders are always friendly, the chili is always good, but something is different. Wanted to buy a case of chili mix a while back but they didn’t even have a box. Next visit they had chili mix in a bag. Last visit was a Thursday when the beer special is half pitchers of Miller Lite — only they were all out of Miller Lite — in fact they were all out of my next 2 beer choices as well. Had some chili but the basket of crackers was nowhere to be seen. Bartender said she could give me a sleeve of saltines: no thank you I said. I know Rocco’s depends on the loyal regular customers, but they are going lose them if the business is run shoddily. Maybe they need help with inventory issues, or perhaps somebody’s not paying the bills. Anyway, people like me are taking notice and it can only hurt business. Hope some changes can be made to get it back to the way Danny and Mindy ran the business.

Interesting bar… everyone is extremely friendly. They make you feel welcome. They have good hotdogs and sausages and lunch deals. I haven’t had the chili yet but will do so soon. Decent beer and liquor selection. Not huge…

I promised myself I wouldn’t leave a bad review about this place last night. I mean I hate to do anything that could hurt a business. I was just going to say nothing! But that changed when I woke up this morning. My friend said he wasn’t feeling well after eating there last night. Mine hit me this morning. Been to the bathroom a few times already today. :/ Was the food good? It was ok… But definitely far from fresh. Like the opposite of farm to table. The service? It was excellent. Our waitress was very attentive, nice, and happy. Atmosphere? Uhh. Not great but whatever. It’s a pub so you that’s what you’re gonna get. I gotta say no smokers in there, which I enjoyed because you could breathe. Expensive? Yeah kinda. Between 3 guys we had a $ 75 tab. I definitely didn’t feel like I had a $ 25 meal… Would I come back? Nope, sorry guys. I hate to leave a negative review to a place with good service. But if I were you I’d stay away or go to Williamson bros. BBQ right around the corner. Other than Williamson, that shopping center looks like that’s where restaurants go to die… Lol.

My whole family have been regular patrons of Rocco’s since it was in its old location. The atmosphere reminds you of a solid northern bar from the ‘70s. If you don’t like that, maybe think its dumpy, no one cares and you might want to try some fancier places like Marlow’s if you need that hoity toity atmosphere in your bars. Its classic, comfortable, and fits the place well. All that being said, it has gone downhill in recent years, but is still a solid place for a decent burger, a cold pitcher of beer, and a Sunday afternoon game. Packed with hardcore fans and many regulars. The wait staff is older, but they do a fine job and appreciate people who have manners. Prices are still reasonable, even if the portions have been down sized. Chili is good, but nothing award winning. Burgers, wings, patty melt, sausage sandwich, and potato soup are always a good choice. And don’t forget the $ 1.99 brat and chip special!

Went in on a sunny, hot 93 Degrees late weekday afternoon for a cold brew and food. Its a dive bar, kept dark and cool from the hot outdoors It’s a small non-threatening«neighborhood dive bar,» with plenty of flat panel monitors on sports or news programs. Looks like a full service bar. They have 17 taps for beers /lagers /ales; I had one of my favorites, a cold draft Guinness(you can also have it unchilled, if you prefer). Sat at the bar and got served promptly. Ate a Bison burger cooked medium-well and fully trimmed on a Kaiser roll with kettle-cooked chips. It was good. Rocco’s has a «big» selection of burgers, sandwiches, fish, and chili on its menu. Looks like a place with its«regular customers» that come to socialize and sip a drink. I’m not a smoker, and I didn’t detect any stale nicotine smell or smoke in the bar, or see any of the other patrons smoking. Seems like a good place to come if you aren’t in the mood for the other food servers in the same little strip mall(Bar-B-Q ribs, natural health foods, and McDonald’s). Saw a note on the door that live music is played on the patio on a few evenings a week.

The reviews are very polarized, so here’s the deal: The restaurant its self is a bit dated. The dining room hosts a wide number of sports memorabilia along with a ton of Budweiser signs. However, the overall lighting and general atmosphere still makes me feel like I’m eating in my grandpa’s basement. Because my family frequents the restaurant often, the waitress, Jo, knows our names and always can remember what drinks we typically order, but otherwise, the waitstaff is just alright. The pour is always great. Now on to the food. A while ago, maybe 3 years back, the portions were HUGE. The food portions along with cheap price is what causes my family to come back every time. Unfortunately, I think the portions have been reduced. While the food is still fine, the price compared to the quantity is «as expected» which made Rocco’s lose it’s flair. Had my family not been such huge patrons a while back, I’m not sure we would still be going every week. As a big Rocco’s fan, I can say that they have lost their touch. I’ll still continue to go to Rocco’s, but not as enthusiastic as i used to be. The wings? Great. Nachos? Good too. Everything else? Just average, but hey, this is Marietta, and choices are limited.

I eat here maybe once a month during lunch during the work week for the past 6 years The service is always good. The food is pretty consistent and they have items you don’t find anywhere else like a chili pie and chili mac.

Jeff T. was correct. This place fails. I really don’t like having a 25+ check(that we had to wait 20+ minutes for, btw) for food I can make 1000 times better in my own kitchen. Don’t go here.

Sorry, but this place is a dump. At one time the chili may have won awards, but what I got was a watery concoction so weak I thought it was joke. The chili I was served would not rank in the top 100 that I’ve had. But at least that seemed to be made in-house. Everything else looked and tasted as if it came off a truck. Service? Nope. Not trying to be mean, but the ancient wait staff just seemed overwhelmed and downright put-out that non-regulars had dropped by for dinner. In fact, you get the sense that they’d rather not do a dinner service at all. And not a particularly clean joint either. You just got a tired, depressed vibe from the place and nothing redeeming from the food.

I am so bummed. I live right behind this place and haven’t ever had the urge to go here, although they have really loud live music that I can hear every Friday… sounds fun. So I was with a few friends and we were craving bar food– i thought, «Hey lets try Rocco!» never been and wanted to give it a shot. Allegedly this place has awesome chili… So we went. We walked in and grabbed some menus. We followed the sign that said«please seat yourself». We did. We sat there and chatted for 15 minutes. We were not acknowledged. Not even a «Hi I will be right with you!» Nothing. I decided that we would give them 5 more minutes. I saw a server who passed by and I asked if we order at a counter or something and she said«no» and kept walking. WOW. guess you don’t need our business. See ya. The best thing about the whole situation– it wasn’t even busy. It was a freakin Tuesday night at 7pm! WTF? 4 tables were full… and we were a party of 5. Food looked semi-decent. The menus and booths were dirty. Not a good kinda dirty– a gross kind. We walked RIGHT by another server on our way out and AGAIN not a word. Classy. We went across the road to sidelines and had a much better time and a nice strong drink! :)
