Rose and Crown Tavern

I was here with a group today for lunch and everything was wonderful! We were seated quickly, since we had a reservation, and our server was friendly and knowledgeable. The food, was excellent. I had the Chicken Salad sandwich and French Onion Soup, both I highly recommend. I also tried the Baked Potato Soup and it was fantastic! I will definitely go back!

Great restaurant! Very friendly service and they knew the products really well. Everyone was very positive and upbeat. We had the wings that were cooked perfectly crispy and still juicy inside. We ordered them hot and lemon pepper. It wasn’t over sauced or anything. A very balanced taste. Atmosphere was great, can’t wait to go back.

Took a client here for a lunch meeting and it does get pretty packed around that time but they got me in as soon as we could. Food was delicious and portions were large enough — I will be coming back.

Best British pub I ever been to. Clean, friendly staff. Food amazing! Great portion size, and so flavorful! Can not go wrong with fried buttermilk chicken with made to order gravy. (I compare it to Alluvia/​Cheetahs) covered outdoor patio great for all weather as well!

1^st visit and wanted to check out the food since it was right down the street from where I reside. Normally when I’m starving most food is good; however, I decided to get some wings and steak fries. what was I thinking. The wings were horrible. I don’t even blame the bar I blame myself because I should’ve known better. If you want good wings this is not the place to go. Below mediocre. I will visit again just to try other food so stay tuned.

Bar staff is incredibly nice and provide great service and conversation! Soft pretzel and house made beer cheese is to die for. Good beer selection, too. Awesome neighborhood pub!

Food poisoning. 4 out of our party of 7 got food poisoning after eating here. Never again.

Seated quickly. I like that they have a pool table. Someone switched the tv for us so we could see the Cavs game. Waitress was very attentive. Bus boys were on point. Here’s what we had.

I went there last night with a party of 9! Food and service was GREAT! Our server was Nathan! So attentive and nice! It was my boyfriends birthday and he accidentally left a giftcard on the table and Nathan ran outside to give it to us! We will definitely be back to see Nathan!

First off, let me say, the service here was pathetic.
We came for my husband’s birthday and the waiter was a real buzz kill when I let him know.
All he said was «Oh, Halloween is a weird birthday.»
The reason I am still giving Rose and Crown 3 stars is due to the food.
We got the appetizer that came with crab cakes, spinach and artichoke dip, wings, and potato skins. All of them were good besides the Potato Skins. Once you added a lot of salt and pepper to the spinach and artichoke it was really good, so were the crab cakes.
We split the chicken club sandwich with fries. The fries and chicken were yummy, but the bacon was really hard, tasted like it had been sitting around for a long time. And that’s coming from a person who generally loves crunchy bacon. The croissant was very mushy as well.
I was kinda blown away by the prices. I never expected a soft pretzel to be 9 dollars.

Huge Portions!!!
We like this place!!! While out looking for somewhere to watch the Sunday night games, we ran across this place. Requested to be seated in the patio area, they have a huge TV and lots of great seating. After looking over the menu, I decided on the club and my friend ordered a fish sandwich that was almost bigger than his head (seriously) ha, ha, ha… He said he did not know how to comfortably eat it in public so he ate the fries and took the sandwich to go. Ha, ha, ha!
, my club was huge as well, should have left the middle bread off as the waitress suggested. Everything was A ok!!! You may want to try the chips, the fries are good but the chips are great, I ordered half and half. Our waitress Allison completely Rocked it! She was very informative and knowledgeable.
Dark & Laid back spot, lots of TV’s, full bar and great menu… we will definitely be back (for more than just that big ass fish sandwich) lol

Super cool place. Great personal service from the bartenders. Chip, Melissa, and can’t remember the other bartender’s name are absolutely great! They had some great acoustic music the night I was in. Great atmosphere and great food!

Thank you so very much for the delicious one pound double burger that you have blessed this place, which later blessed the hunger that has consumed me on that very day. The succulent meat, the tender seasonings, the crunchiness of the lettuce oh great one, is a true testament of your love. I never knew I could ever feel such a way… But u showed me I could, and from this day on, I will always forever believe, that true juicy meaty tender goodness of beef burgers embraced by two buns is within my grasp, within my reality, within my budget. At $ 16 with fries as part of the meal, this is your miracle, my miracle, our miracle. And as if your divine love is not enough, you turned $ 2 into beer with this meal. I feel as though I am not deserving with such grace, but I was.

The atmosphere is great along with the service and management. I think they have some of the best fresh wings in town. On Sunday’s the brunch is a must especially the French Toast. I have never had a bad meal here. it

Modern twist on an English pub, serving typical pub fare. I was interested in the Bangers and Mash, but choked on the cost. I thought $ 20 was a but steep considering I’d not ever seen it at that price before.
I instead chose the Reuben and was very satisfied. It also comes with sugary sweet potato fries.
My buddies both had the lamb burger and agreed it was a good choice.

We first started coming here for our «UFC PPV» hangout, but it quickly turned into a regular place to hang out for great food, prices and wonderful service at all times. I have referenced it to many friends and I always hear how great it was for them too.
To show how good the place is, all other good restaurants in this place went under when the economy took a dive, but this is the one place that survived.

BEST BREAD PUDDING, EVER! Their food’s pretty good also ;). Some coworkers and I frequent this place for happy hours. They have plenty of seating, great atmosphere and crowd, and the staff is always really nice and friendly. And that homemade bread pudding that changes flavor everyday, SOOOOO YUMMY!!! I would get two every time, once before dinner and once after =D. We’ve had a lot of their food items, and they’ve all been really good: nachos, crab cakes, sliders, sea bass special, fried chicken and many others. Can’t wait to go back!

Been here a couple times. During our first visit, my boyfriend and I got the nachos to start, and I got the bangers and mash and he got the shepard’s pie. It was a Saturday night and the place was packed. Luckily, we got seated immediately as we walked in so that was a plus. I really liked the bangers and mash because the «mash» was creamy and they left piece of skin on and the bangers were super tasty. It came with grilled spinach and tomatoes which was a great addition to the entrée. The shepard’s pie was «okay.» Clearly, it had canned peas but overall, it came with lamb and beef plus mashed potatoes on top.
During our second visit, the weather was nice so we opted to dine al fresco. Service was fantastic. Our appetizer was pretty great. I highly the sliders. You are asked to choose any combination of chicken, beef or pork sliders that came out very quickly. They were nice and hot and delicious. i got the Ruben which was better than I expected. I tend to not order this type of sandwich because I don’t crave salty meats but their version was pretty good. It was served on marble rye bread, Russian mayo and sauerkraut. I ordered this sandwich with sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries automatically come sugared instead of salted or plain so if you prefer the latter, just make sure you tell your server.
My boyfriend’s prime rib sandwich was super cheesy. If you’ dig open faced prime rib with aju dip then this is this is the sandwich you could order. It comes with steak fries that are pretty thick.
Good vibes. Always packed. Clean sports bar with great service and a great spot if you’re in the Marietta area.

I came here for a friend’s birthday on a Friday, to my surprise there was $ 4 glasses of house wine so many of us enjoyed a few of those. I think they had different drink specials daily listed outside the front door but I was too psyched for that Friday wine. They are definitely generous pours too and they have pretty much any wine you could want.
We had a pretty large group, I think the reservation was made for 12 – 14, but they gave us these two separate big high top tables jammed with chairs. It was pretty uncomfortable, especially because we couldn’t put the tables together as they used the aisle between the two to go to and from the kitchen :[ oh well, we made it through.
As we showed up, a server would ask what we wanted, we had a couple different ones taking care of us and they did an amazing job, no issues there at all! They even put on hockey for us.
The food is a bit on the high side if you’re not super hungry, but if you stick with sandwiches or appetizers, you can easily spend just around $ 10 per person.
I had their french dip sandwich, which was pretty messy with the horseradish mayo drizzled right on there, but it was pretty good. I had to cut it up into quarters to try to prevent looking like a total slob.
Three glasses of wine and the sandwich plus a tip ran me just under $ 30, not bad at all for an impromptu night out. And they didn’t even do an auto-​gratuity so wooo! Not that they wouldn’t have deserved that but in the midst of craziness (I think at one point we were all singing «Wonderwall» along with the band.)

I didn’t know what to expect from this pub but I thought it was very good! The staff was very accommodating to our group considering it was St. Patrick’s Day and also my friend’s birthday! At 8pm, they got us a high-​top table for 12 people. Good job Rose & Crown! The food even surpassed my expectations especially on St. Patty’s Day. I had the Chicken Quesadilla which came with lettuce, Pico de Gallo, sour cream, and guacamole on the side. It was very big and very yummy!
Of course being St. Patrick’s Day, it was very crowded! Even at 5:45pm, it was packed! Parking was free which is nice. Everyone was all dressed up in green and the staff was handing out Guinness shirts and green beads. There were plenty of TVs to watch the sporting events at night. The live band was really good too! I recommend this pub for people looking for a good pub with big drinks and great food!
