Love this place because it’s so close to my home. The food is always good and consistent. Can go wrong at this location. Great Job Lornhorn!

Back in the day(about 15 years ago) this was a great place to eat. It has been very inconsistent for the past 7 or so years. Getting steak or salmon cooked correctly is difficult. I decided to carry out a salmon salad this evening. The service was REALLY slow even though I had called ahead. Got home and the salmon was rare! I had to recook it in my oven. Unfortunately, this is not the first of this kind of experience. I stopped eating here for a while because I was repeatedly disappointed. I decided to try it again. But, the few times I’ve tried it have been as inconsistent as before. I don’t understand how this restaurant is still in business. We will go to the Sandy Springs Longhorn from now on. It is consistently much better!

One of the most fantastic place here at Marietta. I’ve been on my steakhouse’s but this place is also a place to be when it comes to sirloin. The one that I usually have is their triple bacon provolone, taste like something that you wouldn’t even think of eating here at Marietta. The place was okay, I like the ambiance of this place. It feels something unique when you are eating. I also had their watermelon salad, its okay but not that good. Will come here again any time soon.

I must say I was quite impressed. I enjoyed the pretzel bread and the spicy chicken bites for my appetizer. I then had the mixed greens salad, I was hoping for more of a spinach mixed salad. But it was still very good. My entrée was the rib-eye steak and mac and cheese. I had my steak prepared well done. I do believe that took away from some of the flavor… so the next time I will have it perpared medium well. But the most celebrated part for me was the dessert! The Chocolate stampede. Its name describes it perfectly! There was definitely an enormous amount of chocolate complimented with(my favorite) vanilla bean ice cream. I wish I had saved room to eat more!!! Overall, my experience was awesome and I look forward to visiting Longhorn again soon!

Been here a few times and the service and food are consistent. Servers are very attentive as I always keep returning. If you are looking for deals, try going here lunch as prices ranges from $ 7-$ 11, depending on which items you want to try. The complementary bread and butter is comforting to the wild western style of theme. It kinda feels like you’re reliving the west, but in modern times. I had the lunch special of Mac and cheese with salad and bold bites of kettle chips. The portion of the kettle chips are ideal for an appetizer for two people. The horseradish aioli was delicious and had a «kick» from perfect amounts of horseradish. Then the entrees came, the Mac n cheese plate was warm, keeping the food warm after the first bite. The house salad was also good and would recommend the raspberry vinegar dressing, but limit it because the dressing has a strong vinegar taste. The Mac n cheese has excellent flavor; the bacon has a kick to the cheese. Overall, I am happy with the lunch and will continue to come here.

So… Here’s my thing… It’s a franchise that is proud($$$) of its food. Not sure it’s really better than a Texas roadhouse other than the ambiance. Definitely nicer set up. So I start(perhaps unfairly dinging a star there). I ding another arriving at 5.30 to a mostly empty restaurant that was struggling to seat peeps because they lacked Waite staff. Really? Truth be told idk if they had some call in sick. Just what they told us when we checked in. What matters! The food! I had the Parmesan Steak. Ordered it medium and it came out way rare, so I sent it back. Honestly I don’t have a problem doing that or with that… Kinda to my original point with the seating. Perhaps more was going on than i knew. Waitress totally handled it. I was an ounce upset! Manager came to our table, comped a desert, and personally checked in several times to insure all was well. And honestly all at our table enjoyed their meal! Delicious!

Remember those addicting onion petals that Applebees used to have that disappeared for some bizarre reason? I found them. They are at LongHorn Steakhouse, and they are called Texas Tonions. These are just as good as the original and come with that oh-so-necessary horseradish dipping sauce! Okay, now to be serious(although I really do love those onion petals). We went on a Saturday evening and were lucky enough to get one of the 10 self-parking spots on the front/side of the restaurant. Nothing against valet, I’m just low-maintenance. We were seated immediately, despite that the place was packed. Our drinks arrived quickly and our waitress was attentive, although I do admit the food takes awhile to arrive, so don’t come here if you’re in a hurry. Come when you want to enjoy the company because it does take awhile for each course. I appreciate spacing the courses apart, but it’s a little long if you’re not in the mood for extensive conversation. Some fresh, warm, and tasty bread was delivered to the table before the Tonions arrived(which are plentiful — hence the name). I got the watermelon salad with chicken, and I loved it. The cheese was smooth and flavorful, the kale was pleasantly flavorful(how many times do you hear that?!), the quinoa(although not plentiful) was a nice addition, and the watermelon with balsamic glaze — just yummy! The salad came with breaded chicken tenders, but I was so enamored with the salad and watermelon that I ended up bringing all the chicken tenders home. It was THAT good. The boyfriend got the Flat Iron steak. I tried a bite, and it was flavorful and perfectly cooked. All together, we had a great meal and a nice evening. Just make sure you’re of the mindset to spend some time there during your meal.

the parking lot here is pretty small in comparisons to their other atlanta locations. the lot also is very misleading with the«valet» sign. the whole lot isn’t necessarily valet. there’ sometimes a guy there and sometimes there’s nobody. I’ve never done the valet. I always park my own car and no one says anything to me. so I’m just going to believe that it’s alright. the only reason I stop by this place is when I can’t decide on where to eat. it’s also close to home and it’s in a convenient location. that’s pretty much the only good things I can say about this longhorn. the service here is what I(looks like everyone else too from reading the reviews) dread. this location is never busy, or at least I’ve never been here during those times — if they do exist. anwways, even when they’re slow. the service is super slow. I have no idea why or what they’re doing. the intervals for each course takes forever and so does the refill on the bread. I’m pretty sure the breads are not 100% raw, so I shouldn’t be receiving the bread by the time I’m already full or done with my meal. this longhorn is a «no» for me, unless they make some serious and major changes. in the meantime, I’d rather visit their other locations or probably just avoid it entirely.

«As you all know first prize is a Cadillac El Dorado. Anyone wanna see second prize? Second prize is a set of steak knives. Third prize is you’re fired. Get the picture? «– Glengarry Glen Ross(1992) Sometimes you just want to go to a reliable chain restaurant where you know what you are going to get and consistency is key. That’s what I get at my local Longhorn and I am never dis appointed. Technically, this location is not in my neighborhood as I am in Sandy Springs, but this one is actually a smidge closer and never as crowded as the Sandy Springs one seems to be. I’ve always had good experiences with the staff and the food is always cooked properly, delivered promptly and as requested and we are never rushed. My most recent visit here(last night) was after a very long day where I didn’t get home until 8pm and I was famished and had nothing planned for dinner. I swung by, picked up my Mom and we ran up to LS. We did have to wait about 10 minutes for a table(which was crazy weird for this location), but we did finally get a booth. Unfortunately, this was a precursor for the evening as our server was crazy frazzled and forgetful. However, she was also apologetic ever time she came to the table and she was sure we were going to get upset with her. She brought us drinks and bread and was going to check on types of scotch they had in the bar — it took a couple of tries for her to remember and bring the list. I loved this girl as she brought her scribbles to us and we had to help her decipher(clearly had no idea what most of these names were, which is okay because we did). Mom ordered her scotch, neat. We also ordered our meals. Shortly after, our salads were delivered and still no scotch. She realized the mistake and went running for it. She delivered it and asked if it was right — also clearly didn’t know what neat meant. Again, her lack of knowledge doesn’t loose anyone any points — I hope she maybe learned something. Overall, our food was cooked properly, delivered on time and we weren’t waiting around except for the scotch. 3.5 stars for the night — past experience gets them to 4. Don’t overload your staff on a busy night — use management as backup. You are lucky you had patient people at her table.

How the mighty have fallen. Twenty years ago longhorns was a great place for lunch or dinner. Their lunch burgers were awesome. today the are just another chain with mediocre food and service. Our server was an obvious part timer that had no business being in the hospitality industry. Does anyone teach these young servers how to serve. The bread arrives after our entrée was served, the good news, it was served before our appetizer. The appetizer arrives after the bread after the salad and after the entrees. And once the check was paid we lingered and continued our conversation over the empty plates of our entrée and appetizer. At times mediocre food can be overcome by great guest service. Not in this case. Save your Money, go to Chili’s or Applebee’s and pay less for the same. Oh and they have free valet Parking for patrons. Unfortunately they use the restaurant’s best parking spaces so if you don’t want to valet park for whatever reason you are relegated to the muddy lot next door. You’re number three on the list here behind the employee’s and the valet company’s

Only valet. Trying to take my daughter before a Father Daughter dance. It’s in East Cobb, so plenty of parking around, but they only do valet. There was a long queue for the valet, so we didn’t stick around. I guess having a valet in a strip mall makes the East Cobbers feel like they’re ITP.

I wrestled with what to rate Longhorn. The last time we visited this location was over six years ago. The food was poor and the service was only slightly better, so we swore it off entirely. Things have changed in the intervening years, and we opted to give it a try again. It’s just around the corner from our home. We used the call ahead feature and told the hostess we’d be there in 15 minutes. She could have told us to make it 25 minutes. Instead we showed up and STILL had to wait 10 — 15 minutes. That wasn’t as bad as some folks, but if you have call ahead seating, why not take the opportunity to let someone know they can delay their trip a few minutes and wait at home versus at the restaurant? We get seated, and it takes our server a good 5 minutes to get over to us for a drink order. Orders are placed, and it’s a good 10 minutes before drinks arrive. The place was very busy, so I guess that’s understandable. My boys had simple diet cokes, and my wife and I tried their signature«best margaritas.» I must admit it was the BEST margarita I ever tasted, and it was enough drink for TWO drinks, so it’s well worth it. We order a Texas Tonion appetizer, and it comes out on a tray already pulled apart, which makes it MUCH easier to eat. It’s very tasty, and the fact that they’ve pulled it all apart for you makes it even better. The kids even enjoyed it. We cleaned the plate on that one. My wife and I each ordered the Flo’s Filet, but I got mine stuffed with bacon and bleu cheese, and it was QUITE good. The filets were cooked perfectly, and I only had one spot that was gristley, and I’ll let that go as the rest of the steak was perfect. My boys ordered a hot dog and a regular hamburger. We specially noted NOCHEESE. The burger came out with cheese, so we had to send it back(son cannot eat cheese). It was another five minutes before the correct burger came back. We had asked for ketchup for the boys’ fries, but that never came, and our server disappeared. After waiting a few minutes for his return, I finally went to the bar and asked the bartender for a bottle of ketchup, and she was happy to oblige. The food was VERYVERY good, and I must admit that it is MUCH improved over 5 — 6 years ago. The service however stank. We still tipped 20% as it is the holidays and having waited tabled myself in the past, I cannot stomach stiffing someone who relies on tips. Maybe they were short staffed… I don’t know… but for goodness sakes, when you bring kids food with fries, don’t you BRINGKETCHUP??? Had it just been one or two service issues, I would have only docked them one star, but I have to dock them two stars because of the multiple issues. I will try them again and see if the service is better. Hopefully it will be. This place is VERY convenient for us, so if we can get good service, we will likely be back.

The last few times we’ve visited this location, it seemed very chaotic. The last time(and it will be a while before we go again, if we ever go again) we had called ahead to put our name on the list. After arriving, they told us it would be 10 minutes. They kept seating others who came in after us, even though they had the same number of people in their party. I complained when I saw they had skipped my name. Finally they took us to a table after waiting over one hour. The table had something dripping on it from the ceiling — hit my wife on the forehead. We asked for another table and they acknowledged this was a bad table. To top it off, the steaks were cooked poorly and the service person was not very polite either. It’s a shame, because we had been going to this location at least 2 times per month for the past 5 years. Now I will go out of my way to avoid this location.

One of my favorite chain restaurants and this one is right«in the neighborhood.» Good service and good food. Drinks are weak and over priced, but that’s a chain for ya! I know it’s a steak house, but their salmon is some of the best I’ve ever had!

Three stars for the food and 4 stars for the service. New Year’s Eve with the family at around 7PM — Not a great time to expect immediate seating but oh well. After the car was Valet parked(for free) we waited around 30 minutes which was exactly what they said we would be waiting. When we arrived at our table we were promptly greeted by our waiter and put in our drink order. A few minutes later, our dinner order was taken. I order the Flo’s fillet with Blue cheese on it and the cut came out with a lot of gristle. We couldn’t get a steak knife through the cut. After notifying our waiter and then being referred to the manager, the manager stated that with fillets that happens sometimes and she would order us another one from«center cut». This was acceptable and additionally, they hooked up our young diners with a gargantuan chocolate cake and ice cream dessert to keep them happy while we enjoyed the better fillet delivered 5 – 10 minutes after the manager ordered it for us. To me, chain restaurants like this really should be a known sum in terms of what you can expect when you go there. Franchise places like this maybe shouldn’t be reviewed(unless they are simply awful) on Unilocal. However, when the service ethic is strong in a restaurant, I like to point them out. This establishment is served well by their service ethic.

I worked for this company several years back, and the food was great. Well, my last two experiences have been not so great. Ever since George sold it, RARE hospitality has been trying to cut corners ever since. I feel like the quality of their steaks really has gone down. It is a little gamy almost. They have also been a little stingy on all the accoutrements too(sour cream, bleu cheese, butter, etc.) Not only have the steaks been okay, but they aren’t cooked well either. Some have been over done, underdone, or not cooked evenly on both sides. Don’t get the soups either, even if you have before. The french onion was like licking a bullion cube. Since then, I have vowed to only return for burgers and chicken fingers. The burgers are great, and they offer several varieties on the lunch menu(which you can order for dinner too). The chicken fingers are breaded in-house, so you know they’re going to be great.
