This is the worst ladies bathroom is a grocery store u have ever been in. The floor is always wet, sometimes running into the hall past the door. There isn’t a covering for the tp in the handicap stall. It’s dark and smells like it needs to be cleaned. Every place can have a bad day but time after time this one has been pretty gross. The store itself seems to be ok, very odd layout, decent staff and the produce area is clean.

I was pretty sketched out at this Kroger. In the parking lot I was approached by a guy who ordered me to his car. I didn’t go and instead I went inside Kroger. They should have more Kroger employees in the parking lot to help prevent this.

Kroger, are you out of your mind? This store is on it’s way to hit bottom. A few years ago, this was a really nice Kroger! The service is laughable. Yes, we know y’all make a lot of money here, and the owners/executive management like to stand around the checkout lines thinking they are somehow helpful. Now, it’s like a huge retail space occupied by a cluster-uknowwhat of mess and disorganization. Constantly dodging carts of discount wine, and other items. The workers outfits are a mess — they look like a mess. I went to customer service counter — what a joke. It’s a joke because it’s just a stupid high counter with no one behind it. And no way to get anyone. I stood there waiting for a few minutes to return some milk bottles. Really got a look at what a mess this area looks like. When the associate came — nothing. not a hello, or sorry for the wait, nada. Sorry Kroger, the Publix on 92 and sandy plains has you beat — hard to believe — you used to be so nice. AND to top it off, changed the inventory placement. This probably came from«corporate», but what a joke. No more. not coming here again.

I wish the Kroger stores would stop the store policy of asking customers when they check out the following question: would you like to use your senior discount? Or, some variation of that question. I hate it. My neighbors hate it. We have written to them in the past about this and noticed that it stopped for a long time. But, as I was just checking out, the girl looked at me and asked me that and I said to her please don’t do that. I am offended. It ruined my mood. I am not a senior citizen. I am in my 40s. Yet, some of my neighbors are in their 50s and some are in their 60s and beyond. We are all offended when asked that. We can be having a perfectly nice day and then stop by Kroger to grab some groceries. And, then as we are checking out we feel offended. It starts out that whole thing in your mind… Do I look old or something… is that why they ask me that? They do not ask this at Publix. If this happens again at Kroger to me or any of my neighbors who are also offended when it happens to them… We will quit shopping at Kroger. Maybe they should allow those who want it to attach their senior citizen status to their Kroger shopping card to get an automatic discount. But, I know for sure that even my senior citizen friends are offended by this… it makes them feel really old. Besides, isn’t this illegal to ask this of people? Aren’t Kroger employees making an assumption? I will speak to an attorney about this and find out. I guess another good alternative is just to say yes and get the discount when I don’t really qualify for it and Kroger loses some money. Maybe we should all just say yes and then they will lose lots of money.

For a large, nation-wide company, Kroger does a very good job. Not the cheapest, but you expect to pay a little for the added service and variety. Kroger does a good job hitting the sweet spot. Very friendly staff. Over the years we have met all of the management and many of the staff, especially at check-out. My wife has met the President of Kroger, Bruce Lucia, on two occasions at this location.

It’s a nice, clean, well staffed Kroger. Nothing special, nothing bad…

This store is bigger than most locations, but nothing exceptional. I think that’s probably because of the neighborhood. I mean, what’s the point in having gourmet cheeses and custom meats if no one will pay for the service? They have a larger wine section than most. There’s also a pretty big organic section. The shopping center is being renovated and the inside and outside of the store look great. You can tell the age of a Kroger by visiting the bathroom. In case you were wondering, this store is old!

It’s kind of hard to review an individual supermarket because they are all pretty much similar, but I’ve shopped around the local supermarkets in this area enough to distinguish some differences. This Kroger is a decent place to shop at. It’s large and has a good selection. The best thing about it is that they frequently have closeout sales on items, and they mark down those items drastically. You have to get there fast to get these bargains. Some of these closeout items are high quality. For example, they recently had some 72% cocoa chocolate pieces marked down I believe more than 50%. They also mark down bakery items and place them in a basket at the other end of the store(near the dairy section), and you can get some great bargains there. I have found good closeout prices on some fresh fish, including some more expensive types like swordfish and mahi mahi. Another good thing about the store is that I almost never have to wait in any line, though to be fair I don’t have this problem at any other stores in the neighborhood, so that is not really an advantage. What I don’t like, though, and I’ve noticed this many times so it seems a pattern, is that they frequently have items out of stock. In particular, items that are marked down are frequently not on the shelves, but when I go to other Kroger supermarkets I don’t usually see the same problem. This seems to happen frequently with items I buy like yogurt. The particular type of yogurt I like to buy is frequently not available, especially when it is marked down, and sometimes I have had to leave the store empty handed because I just can’t find anything at all. Overall, I really like the prices here, but in terms of quality and selection, the Publix across the street has the advantage.

When I complimented a cashier that they live up to their commercial’s claim — «we don’t keep our customers waiting at the register» — he told me that several people in that ad, are employees from this store. I like supermarkets. Not all, but ones that offer fresh merchandise, double coupons and deals. This Kroger does. The produce section is larger than most, and I frequently find manager specials. If you’re in the area, check this store out. While I also like Publix across the street, it gives the store a run for its money!
