The stuffed french toast was amazing! And Erinn was the best! So attentive and on her game with a smile. We’ll definitely be back thanks to her!

My family has been eating here since they first opened and absolutely love it. We’ve never had a bad experience and have breakfast here several times a month. The sunrise quesadilla is mouthwatering, the gouda grits are to die for and the tomato basil scramble is so tasty you won’t believe it’s also good for you. Service at this locally-owned eatery is always friendly and quick. They won’t Best Of Breakfast in Cobb Life two years running for good reason. I also wrote the article for it, which you can see at if you’re interested.

When I was in Louisville, KY I was impressed by their number of top-notch breakfast cafes. «Why isn’t there anything like this where we live?» I asked my husband. Well… there is! Reveille Café(pronounced ‘revely’ like in the military wake-up call.) What a wonderful alternative to the same ol’, same ol’ chain restaurants. On Saturday morning, the place is packed. But don’t be deterred by the wait. It goes quickly. Management is efficient and pleasant in clearing tables and getting people seated. So, the big question is,’ what to order?’ Looking around, most everything appears good. T. zeroed in on the decadent dish I knew he would: Mystic stuffed French Toast: filled with cream cheese, coated with corn flakes and topped with a vanilla rum sauce and fresh fruit. The filling tasted like that of my favorite donut. Very, very good. I was thinking of ordering eggs benedict, but in my book e.b. calls for a bloody mary, and Reveille doesn’t serve liquor. Instead I went with chicken salad and the green salad upgrade. The open faced sandwich comes with a melted cheddar topping, which sounds like a caloric distraction. So I got mine without, and thoroughly enjoyed it: chunky chicken with pecans, grapes, and sliced tomato on top. Reveille’s staff is relatively young, friendly and energetic. Our server Kyle is a credit to the establishment. Nice guy! While I was eating, I was texting my daughter who lives in NY. «Take me there when I come home,» she wrote. «We sure will!» I responded. Though I’ll probably be back on my own before then.

Had a great breakfast here, they make pancakes from scratch, the waitress knew which ones(Lemon Blueberry). I have an allergic reaction to preservatives and dough conditioners so this is very important to me, to find a restaurant that uses natural ingredients and is able to tell me what is included in the recipe. My husband and kids loved it also, they had good eggs benedict, fresh squeezed orange juice. Will go again!

My favorite breakfast place. Order Debra’s «Almost» Famous quiche and gouda grits. My favorite was the veggie one with zucchini. But all are delicious! You will never be disappointed. I wish I could tell you more about the rest of the food, but I never make it past the quiche! Friendly staff, clean, and good food!

Great breakfast joint, in a town with very few. The staff is great(Jen) makes the best skinny vanilla latte. The quiche is great, I also recommend the Nutella pancakes with strawberries. Love this place, one on Haynes bridge is great too.

This might just be the brunch place you’re looking for! The décor is pleasant and warm, as is the carafe of coffee they leave at your table when you order coffee. We’ve been several times now, and the breakfast is solid and tasty. There aren’t a la carte items, but the menu features a variety of breakfast, brunch, and lunch dishes. You can get a typical eggs breakfast or omelets; the red velvet pancakes sound amazing and the Belgian waffle with strawberries is divine. They also have lots of creative plates, like a breakfast quesadilla or quiche of the day. The staff has always been friendly and accommodating. Overall, a really pleasant place when you’re looking for that brunch experience, even on a Wednesday(which is Seniors Day, btw — 20% off the senior meal).

Yummy breakfast and delightful coffee selections. I was tempted to try the fall flavors but opted for the White Elephant(toffee and white chocolate) which was yummy. Their plain coffee was even good and my Eggs Benedict was not bad either. I’m not a huge quiche fan but I have to say theirs is worthwhile. There’s a reason this place keeps a steady flow of traffic when its doors are open.

Came in on a Saturday after noon and there was a 10 minute wait. The service was friendly and attentive. I got the Kitchen sink with French toast. It was amazing! The waitress also recommended the Pumpkin Spiced latte, which was also delicious. The French toast was a hearty size and quite tasty. Will definitely come back again!

My husband and I eat here all the time — it’s our«go to» breakfast and brunch place. Even when the place seems crowded we never wait more than 15 – 20 minutes for a table. The service is usually on point and the food is always great. I typically get the sausage and eggs, kitchen sink, or the sweet cream pancakes. OMG, their pancakes are AMAZING! Seriously, eat them. My husband usually goes for the shrimp and grits and loves it! We sent a couple of friends here not long ago and they really enjoyed it too. So, go… eat their lovely food stuffs! Just try not to take my table.

I’ve enjoyed every single visit to Reveille Café over the last couple years, and I thought I’d write a review finally. Let’s start with the Crème Brulee French Toast. The French Toast is just absolutely amazing, full of sugary goodness. Their Eggs Benedict are just as good as any, but its served with a side of the best part, the smoked gouda grits. That leads to the next thing… The Shrimp & Grits. If you don’t like grits, you should try them here. If you do like grits, well, then you will love this dish. I especially love the acidity from the tomatoes that are in the dish. I like this place so much, that on my wedding day, all the guys and I in my wedding party met up here to eat lunch. Overall, this place is a must go to for anyone looking for a breakfast, brunch place.

Reveille is our go to breakfast place. Nice friendly service and their Gouda grits and chicken sausage keep you coming back for more. Yum. I usually get their eggs Benedict. Omelettes are good.

I really do not understand how there’s a line here every weekend. I went the first year they opened and it was not very good at all. Their brunch plates were nothing out of the ordinary and the staff was not very caring. I ordered the french toast and found a thick curly hair right in my toast! Yuck. I told the manager and she asked me if I wanted something else or if I wanted to keep that. As if i could continue eating my french toast after that shock.

Reveille is breakfast with class! The service is great from the time you walk in to the minute you walk out. I like to eat and the food is really good, fresh with flavor. You can’t get this at waffle house or IHOP ever! I should be a food critic… lol

Delicious, quick, and attentive service! My boyfriend and I decided to try reveille for Sunday brunch. We only waited about ten minutes after arriving at noon, which is great in comparison to many brunch restaurants. Our server, Jane, was very sweet and gave us some amazing suggestions, which we took, sharing the mystic French toast and quiche of the day(spinach, feta, and tomato). We also tried some of the specialty lattes. I had the snickers(iced) and he had the cookies and cream(iced), which we preferred. Did I mention the pricing was amazing? $ 26 for two meals and two lattes. Stop reading this and GO! Seriously.

Nothing can express the disappointment in management here. They claim to be kid friendly but won’t defend its customer when a grumpy couple who doesn’t like kids complains because my quiet 3 year old daughter wanted to look out the window which was a little too close their table. They then proceed to complain that they aren’t there kids and they don’t need to be near them. Mind you the window wasn’t even close to their table, just near it. The grumpy old man of the couple decided to complain to management who made no attempt to listen to us or even compromise on this incident. The manager just sits at this couples table and chats it up with them. So we just stood up and left. I can’t understand if our kids were being loud or screaming but they were perfectly quiet. Our toddler just wanted to see the cars outside the window. We usually come here with 4 families and take up 2 tables after our kids music class on Saturday. They will be losing several families and friends. The staff is usually pretty great but with a manager who last time we were there was expressing how much he loved us being there with our kids clearly didn’t express the same sentiment when his«friends» were being«disturbed» by having to look at kids near them. Which is funny cause our table with kids was sat right next to them. If you don’t like kids then don’t claim to be a family friendly location with a kids menu.

It’s my own fault — — brunch for Father’s Day meant a considerable wait. But the staff maintained their friendly and attentive service despite the overwhelming crowd. But I’m not sure the kitchen was coping equally well. My dish of Shrimp & Grits, was good but not stellar. The shrimp were small, the cubed Andouille sparse, and the roux was meek in flavor. Although the grits were infused with smoked gouda, that flavor was so subtle as to be undetectable, and blandness and overwhelming quantity of the grits dominated rather than being a counterpoint to the roux component. As plain grits, they were adequate and properly cooked, but the dish as a whole was enjoyable if a bit disappointing. The unexpected inclusion of a perfectly cooked biscuit was a very nice touch. In contrast, my daughter’s Mystic Stuffed French Toast was spot-on and visually matched the photos we’d seen online, and equally matched taste-bud expectations. My son-in-law had the Kitchen Sink, a dish whose name is more ambitious than the serving size delivered. But since it was filling and he enjoyed, it turned out to be just right. My wife had their quiche and was very pleased with it. The comfortable seating and attentive staff will require a return visit, albeit at a less busy time. I’m looking forward to trying the other dishes to find the winners on their menu.

Breakfast is truly the most important meal of the day, and Reveille knows how to do it up right. Though it’s a bit of a drive for me from Woodstock, I returned less than a week after my first visit. Both times, the host was friendly, and more than that, genuine– he truly wants to please guests here and has such a gentle spirit about him. I was seated promptly when arriving by myself on a Friday morning, and even on my first visit during the middle of the Sunday brunch rush, my group of 4 waited no more than 20 minutes for a table. My waitress this time was Jenna, and she was friendly and efficient without being imposing(the most essential quality in a server in my opinion). She showed no hint of being perturbed at either the fact that I was eating alone or that I requested something gluten-free from the menu. Feeling particularly gluttonous on my first visit, I had the eggs benedict and subbed the English muffin for gluten-free toast– which was awesome. No signature chef twists, just a perfectly simple, buttery benedict with just the right amount of hollandaise to let you swab your toast around on your plate a little afterward and still have some dignity. Smoked Gouda grits and the potatoes are both fantastical– the grits are flavorful and not all stuck together like they’d been sitting in a pan all morning, and the potatoes are the perfect mixture of crispy outside and soft center. Reveille is missing the eclectic interior that typically signifies superb, local eatery, but don’t be fooled by its chain-restaurant appearance– there are three locations, all local & one just a couple of weeks old. I have a good feeling about this place becoming my go-to brunch spot.
