Very disappointed in this place. I’m a huge fan of the great harvest in Alpharetta, and since I was down the road for a funeral last Saturday I thought I would cheer my wife up with some good food. I’ve passed this one tons but never gone in. I walk in and there are 4 teenagers messing around behind the counter. It takes forever to be greeted, and then I place my order for 2 sandwiches. There’s no one in front if me, and it takes 25 minutes for the 2 sandwiches to be made… at this point I’m agitated and wishing I had just gone to Chik fil a. I’m all for being laid back and having fun at work, but not like this, at the disregard for the customer. When I finally get back, my wife doesn’t even have time to eat her sandwich and mine, the BBQ cheddar chicken, doesn’t even have an ounce of BBQ sauce on it… the main ingredient. It literally took them ½ an hour to make 2 simple sandwiches, one without the main ingredient, with no one else there. Needless to say, I just threw away 20 bucks and I don’t know if I’ll give them another shot, even though I’m close and love great harvest. Wanted to go back for a refund, but they were closed by the time we left.

I wish there was a location closer to my home. I’m not over on that side of town often, but when I am I always stop in. The cinnamon chip bread is excellent, but if the monkey bread is available you will kick yourself if you pass up the opportunity to purchase it.

I try to support local businesses when I can and have been a regular supporter of Great Harvest over the past several years, even having had them cater a luncheon. Today I had an incident with Bob the owner that will prevent my doing business there again. I love their oatmeal and went in last Saturday to buy some but none of the packages had the directions for cooking. I was told they were out of labels(even when I stopped a 2nd time this week). Went in today and Bob went to the back to get a label. I told him I had been in this week several times but there were no directions. His curt response was, well we just got them from the printer. I was shocked when he shrugged his shoulders and said its oatmeal. No apology, but an attitude of disdain that I would even bother to ask for a label. Mr. Bob, you won’t get my business in the future and I will share this story with everyone I know. Having a good product alone doesn’t keep you in business, you have to provide good customer service as well.

The free salted caramel cookie for checking in on Unilocal was very good I thought, my wife didn’t care for it. She had the chicken salad sandwich; I had the turkey reuben. Hers was bland; mine was, well, awful. Just awful. I’ll come back for the bread and maybe a cookie… the muffins looked nice, too. My fault for missing their obvious strong suit’s being the bread/bakery items.

I love this place. Quiet and always smelling of freshly baked bread. It’s almost perfect. If I had a criticism, it’s that one particular lady(who is super nice) always forgets my pickle when I order a sandwich! But other than that very minor flaw, this is a place I keep coming back to. Over and over again.

Excellent food, Great for lunch. The bread was the best I’ve had at a sandwich shop. I had a California Cobb sandwich and a cookie both were excellent.

I cannot get enough of this place. It is so delicious! I love the cinnamon chip scone’s, the great harvest cookies, and the white loaf bread. The sandwiches are to die for and the service is great! I would definitely recommend stopping by!

My sister and I love this place. Everything is fresh, and their food is great. They even have a place outside if you’d like to sit and eat with your four-legged friend.

This place is awesome! So many healthy options. I had the fruited bran muffin for breakfast and it was delicious! So nice to eat something delicious for breakfast without the guilt. :). I sampled the honey whole wheat bread and the harvest bar. Both were really good and I ended up buying a couple of the bars. Then my secret indulgence of the cinnamon scone — yum! The staff was very friendly as well. I will be back!!!

Both the food and the service was very nice. But $ 6 for a ham and cheese sandwich seems a little high to me. At the time they had a check in deal on Unilocal that gave you a free cookie with your order. The cookie is pretty big, but a little more crisp or crunchy for my taste for a chocolate chip cookie(which is the type I selected). All things considered this place is probably comparable to a Panera Bread and worth going back to.

The best hot sandwich around. Susan expertly crafts a blend of savory choices to create artisan sandwiches with a great price. We drive just for her to make us sandwiches. The choices of spreads always leave new blends of deliciousness! We also purchase loaves while we are there, but come for either breakfast or lunch. The prices is around a fast food value meal for a hot sandwich and we like to purchase bread that they will create our sandwiches on.

Hands down, my favorite bread! I stop in every other week to stock up and eat! Kickin chicken sandwich is my favorite and great harvest cookie rocks! Be sure to ask for a free sample or two also!

This place is pretty good. I have ate from here before but forgot to write a review, silly me. Everything taste great! The only draw back was that the bread was not big enough to really compensate for everything that was on the sandwich. Well worth it though!

I went here for lunch one day and tried their kickin chicken panini. It was pretty good but for the panini, chips, and a drink it was nearly $ 11. The panini was the size of a regular sandwich you’d make at home. I’d like to try it again and to see if I can tell myself it’s worth $ 11.00 for a lunch.

Not a fan of the sandwiches but their cookies are to die for. And I’m addicted to the pancake mix($ 4.99). I make mine with bananas and chia seeds. I only take away one star because it’s a bit pricey considering that their grains are not organic or GMO free. It’s still my favorite stop when I’m in the area.

Great Neighborhood Bakery!!! Not only is the food incredibly delicious, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. My family enjoys the Asiago Sourdough bread, scones and biscotti… just to name a few. Each week we look forward to trying new items. Haven’t tried the sandwiches yet, but plan on enjoying some on their patio this summer. Thank You Great Harvest for providing the local community with wholesome goodness and delicious treats!

My partner and I have been going to «Great Harvest Bread Co.» for probably 8 months. I sat here and thought.“if anything needed to change in this business…” The only thing that I can come up with is that the Blueberry Savannah bars be served on Saturdays as well :) We absolutely love this place and the folks that work there. The breads are out of this world good… fresh and so healthy. We love the Rye bread.(WE actually make French toast with it) Scones, muffins everything is excellent. Do not miss the best bread in town !

I ordered Jason’s Club which was good, but the sandwich was toasted like a panini and it would have been much better not toasted. My husband ordered a California Cobb and it was delish!!! It’s had avocado spread, turkey, ham, cheese, mayo… the avocado really added that extra wow factor! Also the cookies are amazingly tasty!
