Normally love this place but today was not happy with our visit. The ladies were not listening and made us feel super rushed to order ever though no one else was in there. I clearly ordered a kids size for my daughter. When I went to pay, my sons portion was much smaller and I pointed it out. The lady said my daughters was the like it size. I said that’s not what I ordered but she just stared at me. Ridiculous. Won’t be back.

this location of cold stone isn’t really my number one preference. they’re located in the same shopping center as kroger that’s off of lower roswell rd. and johnson ferry. it’s in the tiny breakaway strip that’s in front of kroger and right between the wine store & ted’s montana grill. the staff seems to be all high school students. they seem to lean towards hiring more girls than guys. nonetheless, the staff here are cheery and friendly. service has been good for the few times I’ve been here. just know that the crowd here is mostly high school students(probably friends of the staff). there are times that the whole place is packed with groups of families and their kids running around. in the end, it’s just the crowd that keeps me away.

Best Ice Cream shop in East Cobb… Surrounded by Ted’s on one side and the Wine Shop on the other so he adults have some options as well.

Its Cold stone. What is there not to like. The staff are always high school students and the service is always good no matter what. The ice cream is always awesome as well. HA. The only reason they got 4 stars instead of 5 is because when I ask them to split one order into 2 cups for my young daughters I might as well be speaking another language to them. On at least 5 occasions they haven’t understood what I wanted. On a separate note, when there is a crowd on a Friday or Saturday night tip the staff. They are forced to sing a song and all their high school friends there get real kick out of it.

Few places around that has real ice cream. WAY better than the place almost across the street(Bruster’s). Flavorful with many different varieties.

This ice cream place is pricey… and I don’t even eat ice cream(Lactose Intolerant). I used to always get the Mango Smoothies… very sweet, but good. I’m so glad that they have the Strawberry Sorbet… OMGDEEELISH! My daughter loves the chocolate with sprinkles… pretty simple

I’ve found the best Coldstone combination. If you promise not to tell anyone else, I’ll let you in on the secret. Cake batter ice cream with graham cracker and Twix. Since I discovered it, I’ve tried to order other things, but I wind up sad and disappointed. It doesn’t get better. Cake batter + graham cracker + twix = deliciousness. Unless you’re one of those silly chocolate ice cream people, in which case you’re on your own.

Meh? Cold Stone could be such a badass place. In fact I kind of think was when they first came out. Taking your unique flavors of ice cream and rolling the toppings into it more evenly is pretty smart, though I do kind of get weird feelings watching them wrangle my belly batter with those metal tongs. Something disturbing about it, almost like watching them change an alien baby. The ice cream is rich, too, in a weird way. It seems like somehow they forced more milk into the product. Like they super-condensed some kind of dairy. It makes my mouth sweat. Rich in a bad way, I think. The service is usually kind of ehh also. I mean, who wouldn’t get testy after playing with people’s food for them for hours on end? Yes ma’am with your large belly, which of our 30 toppings do you want me to roll into your extra-large order? You want the entire Snickers bar? Two of them? Chocolate dip the cone? America is lardasses.

OMG I am addicted to the cake batter flavor… so subtle, yet so accurate in it’s cake battery goodness. In fact, I don’t even feel the need to mix anything into it. However, if you are more adventurous, they have lots of mix suggestions with cute names, or of course, do your own thing. This location can be a bit overrun with highschool kids… I think some HS is across the street or something.

Even though I am not a major fan of sweets in general, I am a fan of Cold Stone Creamery. Cold Stone separates themselves from any other ice cream shop because they specialize in making the particular sundae that you desire right in front of you on a chilled stone(or something resembling stone) counter. The last time that I visited this particular location I received excellent service and had the pleasure of feasting upon the«Strawberry Banana Rendezvous,» which had strawberry ice cream, white chocolate chips, strawberries and bananas. The only thing that I thought Cold Stone needed was a larger selection of ice cream. Overall though, the whole idea behind their ice cream making process gives Cold Stone a competitive edge in the Ice Cream industry.
