Canton Wings & More

They have a great variety to choose from for lunch. Wings phillys gyros and more. We go grab to go at least once a week. The woman who works the kitchen and cash register is kind and quick. They don’t deliver and if you order through Unilocal will call to make sure you know. Good prices for lunch combos.

Totally random how I found this place. I was meeting an acquaintance in the area and all of the sudden got a hankering for some wings (well… if you read my other reviews, you’ll know that I’m always down for wings). Looked in the area, sorted through all the BWWs and restaurants that just happen to have wing appetizers, looking for a full on wing shop… which led me to this place.
From the outside, it looks like many of the other places — next to a gas station convenience store, a straight forward wings-​subs-​cheesesteaks-​friedfish kind of place. Price was good — not as cheap as the menu on the Unilocal profile (see updated menu), but still pretty good.
Ordered 20 wings — half lemon pepper, half hot. Delicious.
It was well fried, crispy on the outside without being dry inside. The wings weren’t those HUGE steroid wings at Taco Mac but not the itty-​bitty, quail wings you get at some places. Nice and meaty. And the sauces were good but nothing amazing.
BUT there was something about the wings that made it taste SO good. I dunno how to describe it. Was it that the wings were fresh not frozen? Was that what I was tasting? But honestly looking at the place, I know I’m judging a book by its cover, but it couldn’t be that a place like this fries up fresh chicken wings not from frozen.
Honestly, I don’t know what it is, and I’ll most likely never go to this place because it’s so far and not an area I go at all, but if I did live in the area, I’d go here. Perhaps too often. Try it if you’re in the area.
P. S. Maybe this was just my experience, but I thought the two employee (actually, they were pretty young looking, possibly kids of the owners or something) were very pleasant and courteous.

Let me first start by saying I have a love/​hate relationship with this place.
I’d never come here again if the wings weren’t so good, thus the 4 stars. It’s poorly run and the staff have horrible attitudes. I don’t eat wings often, but when I do, I come here and not the other 6 or 7 places nearby.
My favorite is the lemon pepper wings with fried okra. Good, unhealthy eating at its finest.
