I didn’t camp here. I shot Sporting Clays. They have 2 courses for sporting clays, I think two 5 stands and a ton — I mean the most in Ohio and probably anywhere nearby(assuming here) — of trap stations. My first time coming here it was hard to find the sporting clay course. Not a lot of signage. But eventually I did find it. I stumbled on Cardinal after they were having some living social deals online. The courses are set in the woods and each one is very different, clays coming from left to right and right to left, coming at you, going away from you, rabbits, WAY overhead, shooting from a tower, clays coming from a tower. It was was a blast(pun intended). Along each course there are fire barrels to warm up if your shooting in the winter so that is very nice. Each time I have gone(around 5 or so) it has not been very busy, I have never really had to wait unless it was with a large group I was with. They also have an automated clay shooting system where you can shoot solo if you wish. Very sophisticated. A person is able to rent a golf cart as well, personally I don’t think that you need one, the most you walk is MAYBE a mile, maybe. I only wish it was a bit closer to Columbus, but 35 – 40 minutes isn’t bad.

Been over a year now and my leased site is still muddy and in need on gravel! To make it worse, someone backed a very heavy trailer too close to the water outlet and left a foot deep rut! Their lot service and camper service is simply non existing here so bring your own shovel rake and gravel unless you want mud everywhere as soon as it rains. Only reason I gave them one star is due to a nice shooting field and this app won’t take a «0». If I see Mr. Fishburn this week he WILL get a piece of my mind!

Great wooded lots, super clean facilities, and one of the top spots for trapshooting.
