Very cute place! We came for lunch and got the chicken salad, perch sandwich, and BLT. All were delicious! Very clean place, great service. Waitress was very attentive and welcoming. Not too loud and we came in as a party of 6 and were seated right away. Our compliments to the chef and staff, Avery’s is a great place! Will be back!

Average food, nothing special although nothing to complain about. Reubens and Philly cheese steak were both good. Fresh perch was fine but not worth $ 10. Clean and good service.

Breakfast is excellent. It’s the best place to get a good quick meal up on the lake. I have been there several times the past few years and always get a great meal. Plus have never had to wait.

Angus burger was great, hot, and juicy. BLT was what you expect, great tomatoes and bacon, but a bit more lettuce would be good. Nice place, but after seeing menu for lunch, was thinking maybe I wanted a place with $ 5 ¼ lb burgers, not $ 7.50 or so ½ lb with potato chips or $ 7 – 9 sandwiches with chips.

The relaxed atmosphere at Avery’s is just the type of place you want when you’re enjoying a relaxing weekend in Marblehead.
Unfortunately, they were out of several items we had wanted to order but we ended up finding substitutions on the menu. I ordered a Reuben and it did its best to not end up soggy like many do, but in the end wasn’t any more successful. The tomato soup, whilst appetizing, didn’t taste any better than a canned soup.
Its your typical sleepy town café which is good for a quick lunch before meandering around Marble head some more.

The prices were very affordable, and the interior of the restaurant was nice. It’s been renovated recently, and it shows (except for a few older tables and chairs around the store). The wait staff was friendly and helpful. We had breakfast, which was absolutely delicious, and lunch, which wasn’t bad. I’d recommend dropping in if you get the chance.
