No matter what time it is, you need to call your order in at least 10 minutes before because they are SO slow. You can order a large tea and wait forever. A friend of mine got a tea yesterday with a bug in it, so I definitely won’t go back. Also, I paid $ 1.07 for a tea a few days ago and gave the lady $ 5. She gave me $ 3 back and smiled, keeping my .93 cents. That’s about a 90% tip for bringing out one drink when I didn’t even willingly give it to her. Yes, every now and then they are good and you crave something of theirs, but not worth it.

Greasy tater tots Greasy burger they had to remake twice be cause they can’t hear NOONIONS and NO tomatoes. GREASE soaked bags. So if you enjoy the greatness listed above and grease all over your car and clothes(this is a drive in) I highly recommend it. If you like me and enjoy good food IT is Not the place to be. Make sure to turn your car off you will be waiting a long time. BOOOOOOO

So my coworker raved about this place so I thought I’d try it out since I happen to be in a town where there is one. Much to my surprise when I checked in they only have 2.5 stars. I guess we’ll see… Storms Special(half pounder with fries) — I guess I would compare this to a diner style burger. I actually thought it was decent for what it is. It’s not an over the top burger. It is greasy… but isn’t that how it is supposed to be? The bread was soft and mashable, and I actually think the meat had flavor. I don’t know — my review is different than all the others but this burger was exactly how I thought it would be. Steak Fingers and fries — So it looks like their version of fingers are those frozen chicken fried steak patties cut up into«fingers». This was better than expected. I was worried it would be bland but it was actually opposite. A bit salty for me but the taste was still good(maybe it’s because I loved the frozen chicken fried steak patties back in high school). Fries — now this is going to be the same as the others. It was soggy and greasy and limp. Definitely not my style fry. So overall not too bad. Not sure if this is one I’d seek out and have to come back to. And for the prices… I mean this is a drive through, I feel it should be a little cheaper. The storms special was $ 7.69 for a burger and fries. Real star rating 2.5.

This place has good burgers but they ruin the experience with their cheapness. If you order a coke they automatically make it a large, stingy on napkins and ketchup, come on guys if feels bad to be nickel and dimed. Recently fries are under done, due to early browning in old grease. Will go elsewhere.

First: So my mother use to come here every week or every other week for the past 4 years and order a small cherry coke and a small order of cheese sticks. We haven’t been in awhile due to the fact they said they changed their policy. When she would go to order the usual we were told we cant order a small coke because we are adults and a small are for kids. Even when she said she will pay for a large but wanted a small they bring out a large so we would pour it out down to a small right then and there. Second: Their burgers are way to greasy its like ½ beef, and ½ grease. I think it is the greasiest burgers in town.(They have changed over the years) Third: The employees that bring you your food could look a little bit more alive and happy, could even use a smile :).

We had been wanting to try this place for a while and was sadly disappointed. The bun was dry, almost stale and the meat was over cooked and flavorless. I ordered 2 different sodas and both were flat or near so. My sons rootbeer and burger were the same. The fries were just plain limp and kind of pathetic and the tots on the kids meals were greasy and falling apart. Never again. Definitely nothing special here!

Tasteless Burgers Quality has Gone Down Big TIME! Stopped by today and Burgers aren’t as tasty as they used to be… actually they’re Bland & Tasteless! Pass me the salt… Milkshakes taste different too… more sugary, almost syrup-like. NOT A FAN anymore. Chicken strip dinner was Good. In the past we’ve always made it a point to stop here at least once if not more, while we are in Marble Falls but not anymore. Seriously let down!

BURGERREVIEW: While my dad stays with me for three weeks post-surgery, we decided that we’d do some Texas exploration. He hadn’t been to Texas in 30 years or so, and had never been to Austin and its environs, so with the dual purpose of keeping me moving and discovering Texas stuff, we took a trip to Marble Falls today. One of the first things to grab our attention was Storm’s sign that said«50’s style burgers». so we popped in, and walked up to the outdoor picnic tables(both of us have a disdain for eating in the car, if it can be helped). There’s no inside dining here, so it’s reminiscent of a Sonic, or Rally’s. We both ordered the ¼-pound burgers; I ordered mine with Swiss cheese. The came out rather fast, and were a pretty good size. The bun had scorch-marks from where they put the fully-assembled burger and the grill and flattened it with the spatula.(That’s – according to my Dad– the«50’s style» burger) I liked that, and plan to do it to my burgers at home. Storm’s lost a few points in my book by the fact that the burger was utterly flavorless, except for the yellow mustard they liberally put on it. There was really no other distinctive flavor to the burger whatsoever. Dad noticed the same thing, so it mattered not Swiss cheese or no Swiss cheese. Two mustard-flavored burgers. It’s a shame, because I really liked the flattened-on-the-grill scorched bun top. But that was not enough to save this poor burger. so three stars it is – it didn’t suck, but it really didn’t knock my socks off either.(The fries were pretty good)

This is the best drive-in burger ANYWHERE !!! I don’t know what’s up with that highly negative«sawdust» review here … but we loved this place we so much we went four times in one week! The burgers are made out of REALTEXASBEEF — huge flavor! This is what every Sonic burger wishes it could be! Their fries are handmade and excellent — not greasy at all. They have added some waffle fries(frozen product) that are covered with a terrific seasoning. Chicken sandwich and other frozen products should be avoided. Drinks are huge! Come to my town!

No No No. Not good. Don’t get me wrong, I like a good roadside burger as much as anyone. But why on earth do you have to cook a hamburger that is barely ¼″ thick for 4 minutes and leave it as dry as sawdust. Thank goodness for the tomato and mayo(yes, I got the sissy burger) just for the juice it provided to an other wise dry and bland burger. I expected so much more.

I love you, Storms!!! With a friend’s lake house near Granite Shoals, Storms is always a must for the husband and I on our way home. The shakes are thick and delicious. The burgers and fries are out of this world. Be prepared to wait a bit because your food is(GASP!!) freshly made! So good and so ridiculously cheap. If you drive by this place hungry and don’t stop in, you’re a fool.

The wife and I stopped here after shopping at the HEB across the street. We both ordered the Storm’s Special, a triple patty burger equaling up to a half pound and fries. The special is only $ 5.09 for all of that. The burger was truly amazing, but the fries sealed the deal. Their fries are fresh cut and cooked when ordered. My wife says they are the best fries she has ever had and I tend to agree with her. If it wasn’t so close to freezing today we would have tried the shakes as well. You can also trade out fried okra for fries on any combo, a big plus in my book. If you are ever in Marble Falls and hungry, I highly recommend you try Storm’s!
