Don’t drink the coconut water! She uses the same shot glass for EVERYONE that comes in all day without washing the cups… Talk about contamination. Hoping I don’t catch the flu. or herpes…

Love this place! We wanted a large hermit crab, and we got one. He has a very nice habitat for them, unlike others. They are not over crowded and have lots of natural fauna to cruise in. Yes, I know crabs should not be sold like this, but I love them and take care of them as he does. He doesn’t overcharge for something that he collected from his backyard(as I was informed by another, less kind and more mercenary vendor). He was very friendly and also gave instruction for crab care(which I did not need, but new owners do), which is not something you get from other places. Thank you, ShellMan! We’ll be back.

Something about the sunshine and ocean water in the keys makes you want to buy stuff. Specifically tacky, nautical themed, ocean sourced crap that you can stare at longingly once your vacation is over. The Shell Man is happy to take your money. This place provides veritable shell-a-copia of stuff for you to re-live your Keys vacation. You may or may not regret your purchases later — I saw a biker chick walk out with a Gator foot back scratcher… yeeeaaahhhh If you are in the Duck Key/Marathon area then this place isn’t bad. However you would be much better off waiting to buy your Keys souvenirs/crap until you get further north to either of the Shell Worlds. Their selection puts this place to shame and they also have some higher-end goods if you want something nicer than your usual touristy crap.
