Lukewarm coffee and cold service. We ordered a couple of lattes and asked for a chocolate drizzle on one. They said«we can’t do that» even though they had a huge pump bottle of chocolate syrup on the counter. When I said I’d pay whatever they wanted their cold response was that it’s «not our style». I work in customer service and was floored to hear this. Here you have loyal(up until now) customer making a simple request. The lattes were made, sans chocolate and delivered on the cold side of lukewarm. Last time we’ll go there. We found a better place up the street a few blocks — Bald Eagle. The coffee and pastries are much better and the service is phenomenal.

Great coffee. Cute and friendly servers. Even the owner is rather cute.(not the dude, the dude’s wife) They make their own granola. And it’s clean. Really clean. No tats, dreadlocks, or anything weird there. (except me, when I’m trying to impress a seagull)

Great little place where the employees are cheerful. Not being a coffee drinker, I am unable to give comment. I will comment on the lovely hot chocolates, chai tea & regular teas. Yummy! Their baked goods are soooooo fresh, sweet, light and makes we want more!

This is a solid, well stocked coffee shop just a one minute walk from the beautiful white sand beach of Manzanita. The employees are always friendly and helpful, they have a great selection of pastries, snacks & sandwiches along with every coffee drink combination known to man. There are a few places to get coffee in this town and this is by far the friendliest. Good coffee made well is that much better when served you by people without an axe to grind, chip on their shoulder or just a nasty overall attitude, as can be found elsewhere in town, but definitely NOT here.

Great coffee. On point service. Close to the beach. Marion berry scones. What more can you ask for in a coffee place?

Wow! I have been coming here for years. I just stopped in and ordered a Sunday. Usually, I get awesome service, but today it was horrible! Take pride in your work. I was served a Sunday that was suppose to have fudge on it with whip cream. However, very little fudge was on my Sunday let’s say a small swirl of fudge about 1.5 mm in width. Covered by way too much whip cream to cover up the fact there was almost nil fudge. I asked for a side because there was no fudge. When presented with the side I was told«oh by the way we normally charge for that but because we noticed you had not a lot of fudge we will cover it as a courtesy»…WTF! Really, you are telling me you would charge me when you made the mistake! Don’t lecture me when I paid for something you blatantly knew you didn’t provide. What makes things worse is it was apparent that the manager on duty told the kid to say this as he appeared to be a new employee.

Had the best latte here today. They also have doughnuts! And there was coffee cake. Still had to admit the latte was so good. Thanks for making my morning better. Enjoyed sitting on the benches right outside and sipping while watching the beach traffic. The ladies behind the counter were very professional and savvy too.

Located right across from the inn at Manzanita, where we were staying, so, it was very convenient. From the outside, you would have no idea what to expect when you walk indoors. CROWDED! Every morning, but, I guess that is a good sign. I think I gained two pounds by becoming addicted to the ham, cheese and Chive scones. Unlike anything I. Have ever had carbs worth eating. I miss them. Lol. My husband loved the apple cake too! The coffee was great, people were friendly and great experience. The only reason they didn’t get a higher score is because of the crowding. Maybe it’s time to expand. Btw, I ordered the same scone at the airport and threw it out. It tasted terrible by comparison.

Good hot fudge on the sundaes and the donuts are good, but aren’t as sweet as you might be used to eating.

Awesome joint. Don’t listen to the bone head complainers. If they’re running out of donuts, good for them! They must be doing something right. Good coffee. Took 220oz coffees and a cinnamon roll to my room. Great way to start the day. Nice staff. Quick service. Good coffee. Sounds like the place to go.

Good lattes, house coffee, and a maple bar that compares to the best. Being the closest to the beach puts them over the top… friendly service, and will happily refill the creamer and brew fresh coffee when they are out(I must always be the one for when things run out…) Decent service, but not over the top. I can see how the donuts run out during the busy season, so if you want a big variety and it’s not the slow winter season, go early.

Coffee was nice, but the bacon in my Breakfast Sandwich was so thin I couldn’t taste it. Also had to practically walk into the back kitchen to ask for ketchup. We were also not enamoured with a 25c charge for an extra portion of butter. To summarize: Coffee is good but if you are having food or expecting wonderful service I’d go elsewhere

Good coffee and right in town. The coffee and food are good, however the staff can turn up the happiness a bit as the are always busy– bit no excuse for below expected service. Sleepy Monk in Cannon Beach has it right… Take note from them

The coffee and pastries are always good. The staff isn’t the friendliest. They are usually busy but the staff could smile or be a little more friendly.

This was the little go-to spot for a sweet fix(ice cream & doughnuts) when we lived in Neahkahnie. A bit pricey for what you got, but not out of range. Considering the location and lack of many other options in the area, it all worked out just fine. Customer service was always fair and provided by young employees who are still wet behind the ears when it comes to professionalism and common sense. Fast forward two years to a gorgeous Saturday afternoon and a chance to stroll down familiar pastures with my loved ones. Surrounding beach parking was crowded beyond belief for a post-Labour Day weekend and there were a lot of folks in town, but not too many to make it uncomfortable. Grabbed a parking spot with ease by the restaurants and shops on Laneda. I am not sure about all of the negatives about them being out of doughnuts. We were there at 4:45PM and they had plenty of very fresh and flavourful ones. Decent selection of Tillamook ice cream(no bubble gum flavour — bastages!!!), but my apple fritter made up for it. Service was attentive, but still provided by teenagers who are still finding their way. It is always fun to place wagers on the ones that will rise above and move along, or the ones that will be the 50 year old assistant to the assistant manager, but only on Thursdays at the local Dairy Queen.(wink) Darwin would be proud. Our only complaint and not one to do with the business itself, was when we sat out front to enjoy our treats, an ass-clown tourist who had the family bull terrier tied up alone to a post and out of their sight as they ate at Marzano’s Pizza made things awkward and uncomfortable. The dog barked with this high pitched bark that would make Helen Keller want to kick its arse! This little dog forced more people to leave and enjoy their treats elsewhere. Of course, after 10 minutes, «Timmy — Tard — Tourist» pops out to pet him and would not make eye contact with anyone, nor apologize for his untrained dog nor his poor pet ownership responsibilities. He got the hint when I started quizzing him about his pup and really focused on their abandonment issues and annoying barking. I then asked him if it was a service dog, to which he asked me why I thought that…(laughs).“Well sir, it is obvious that you are a slight step up from a window licker on the short bus, so I figured the dog must be here to assist you.” He put his dog in the family SUV to await the end of their meal and their departure back from whence they came… a happy place, where retarded suburbanites like himself can live in HOA’s and annoy each other while polluting the gene pool. Gotta love tourists!!!

I’ll keep this short. We are not coffee drinkers so I cannot comment on the quality of the beverage choices in that area. We hit this place on the way out of our weekend stay for a breakfast and the kids saw donuts on the sign. The wifey called from inside asking if I wanted a donut or chocolate croissant. I opted for the croissant. This was about 10am I believe. THEBESTCHOCOCROISSANT I’VEEVERHAD! Seriously it was warm, flaky, fluffy and all other sorts of lame words that you hear on Food Network describing this perfect pastry. I wanted another but was ashamed that my wife might remind me of my already mis-shapen mid-area. It was SUPER busy and during our stay in Manzanita was always like that… so other stuff must have been good. As a bonus they had Martinelli juice in the little bottles that we grabbed quickly. If I’m back in Manzanita I know where I’m going for a morning treat… er…um, breakfast.

This is an adequate place to get a cup of coffee in a town with very few options. I was a little disappointed that there was no discount offered for bringing my own travel mug– they charge the same $ 2.10 for a 16oz drip coffee whether you use one of their disposable cups or not.
