The guys at Manville Pizza are great and make one of the best pies in the county. We’ve been eating their food since the mid 70s and it’s nice to see the next generation continue to serve the community! I highly recommend them to anyone else that wants great tasting Italian food.

Tried the pizza one more time after the owner told me to because he tracked me down and contacted my parents house and made pretend to be a friend from high school for me to call him! Wow! Then blocked me somehow for making a bad review on Manville’s public Facebook page! Still horrible pizza!

Unfriendly service and poor tasting pizza. It looks great but the crust was tasteless and the pizza was greasy. Very dissappointing.

Pizza here is definitely better than average. FYI, you can park in the back, there is free parking.

Manville Pizza has the best pizza in Manville. The sauce is sweet and the crust is on the thicker side, which I like. My only complaints are that they don’t deliver, sometimes the pizza is undercooked, and the credit card machine is very slow. However, this pizza is good enough that I will drive there any day of the week and deal with the ungodly slow credit card machine. Manville Pizza’s specialty pizzas are a must try. The BBQ Chicken Pizza is my husband’s favorite. I would recommend Manville Pizza to anyone driving by!

DONOTVISIT! Over Priced and Quality is not so great. I will admit that at one time about 3 years ago it was good, the dough was fresh, the pizza had a unique flavor to it. However, since the change of location there quality in food has gotten worse. I tried this place 4 times after the change and every time I still get dissapointed. There pizza is ALWAYS cold, which I believe is because its always warmed up never fresh. I asked for a pie and came in twenty mins later to pick it up(cause he said 20mins) the box felt cold, and when I got home the pizza was COLD! I had to warm it up myself. That pizza pie cost me $ 21.50 which is a high price for something of bad quality but again if you want good pizza you wont find it here. Note to the owners/management. Fix the quality and Price. Set realistic goals.

A visit to Manville wouldn’t be complete without some Manville Pizza. An absolute must stop for pizza lovers. Great pizza made by even better people.

After reading raving reviews and some positive local newspaper articles I decided to drive a half hour to try this place out. Maybe I should of asked for a thin crust as the pie was undercooked and chewy. I do like their sauce and cheese however the dough to put in makes the pie. The pizza was just OK nothing worth going out of my way for. Either this is all hype or Friday night was an off night for them or depends on who makes it as well In either case I will not be traveling back there to try another pizza.

I’ve been frequenting Manville Pizza for the better part of 4 years. It’s old school. It’s clean. Staff is dressed in the traditional red and white, even down to the old style hats! They are courteous and friendly, and always busy! The owner is down to earth, funny and helpful. But– you go there for the food! They use the finest ingredients, unlike cheap pizzerias on every other corner. Ive had everything from entrées to calzone, specialty pizza(like eggplant parmigiana pie, stuffed meat lovers pizza) old classics like a Sicilian or grandma pie, or even a plain pie, and they are some of the best if not the best in NJ. It’s located in a tiny town– not a destination, resort town or known for any other fine dining establishments. I think some people other than the locals and neighboring towns snub going to the pizzeria because it’s in Manville. But those of us in the know cherish this hidden gem. A Mecca of pizza in a sea of dominos and $ 5 soggy pies from pizza brothers or whatever Joker who thinks they can make pizza. Make the trip to Manville Pizza, you won’t be disappointed.

Best pizza in the area. I live in Hillsborough, and although there are about a dozen pizzerias in my town, I drive 15 minutes out of my way to pick up some Manville Pizza because it is so good. The pasta dishes are excellent as well; I highly recommend those. There’s really nothing on the menu that isn’t good. However, the reason I’m giving Manville Pizza 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the workers. About half the time they are friendly; the other half of the time they can be really rude. I understand that dealing with people all day sucks, but it’s equally as annoying when a cashier is angry at you for no reason.

Hands down some of the best pizza around! No matter when I go, it’s great! And sure, the old Caucasian guy isn’t the nicest, but who cares??? The pizza is still worth it. The owner, Anthony, is 1000x nicer… I think they old guy is an old timer from the rustic mall days and that’s why he’s around. Other than him they’re all great. Don’t waste time at any other pizza place in Manville! Manville Pizza ISTHEBESTINMANVILLE!

BESTPIZZA I HAVEEVERHAD. PERIOD. This pizza place is the first one that I regularly experienced as a kid, when it was in its original location before Rustic Mall was demolished. Since I have grown up, I have eaten pizza all over the world, including New York, Italy, England and various other regions of the US. Nothing has ever been able to hold a candle to the pleasures my palate experiences at Manville Pizza. I live in Hillsborough where there is an overwhelming multitude of options for pizza but I will continually venture out of my way just so I can get pizza from them. The store itself is very clean and pretty modern for an old pizza place. It can get crowded depending on when you go so I usually try to call ahead.

First of all I am a pizza connoisseur. I grew up in NY and pride myself on knowing good pizza. AND pizza is my ultimate favorite food. So with that said, I can assure anyone reading this that my review is written from experience. Manville pizza is definitely nothing to write home about. They are cheap with the cheese, and the prices are ridiculous for the product. The sauce is pretty good as it has a slight sweetness to balance the acidity of the tomatos but again its no big deal. The pizza itself isn’t the best but it’s also not the absolute worst. The thing about this place that truly makes it horrifying is the customer service. The old caucasian man is the rude and unfriendly. On top of that they overcharge for everything and god forbid you ask for extra sauce or anything additional in your order. They will charge you double any other pizza place in the area. I honestly hate this place for several reasons. The ONLY good thing is that they stay open later then most. In my opinion Frank’s pizza by walmart is the best in Manville not only because the quality of food is better but the people who work there are 1000x more friendly and welcoming. Also Frank’s does discounts after 930pm before they close so they won’t waste food. If you go to manville pizza at any hour you can expect mediocre food at best and awful service. It honestly blows my mind that this spot has so many good reviews. I’m sure they are all family of the owners or affiliated in some way. Manville pizza is ridiculous. I will never go there again.

Best pizza I’ve ever had! Usually American pizza is greasy and oily and thin and you feel gross after eating it because it’s so heavy. Not with this pizza. The crust is perfectly fluffy and delicious. The pizza is not at all greasy. They don’t skimp on the pizza toppings either, they will load them on there for you to make sure you get all of your money’s worth. I love this Pizzeria and it is the only one I will go to if I don’t make my own pizza! Highly suggest it!

Alright pizza. The buffalo pizza was gross. I will chalk it up to a bad day. Went back on another day and my son had the cheese calzone, he loved it. Its a good spot when youre in a pinch.

I’ve been eating at this pizzeria for as far back as I can remember. Since I was 7−8yrs old(Im 22 now) I’m talking about when they belonged to the rustic mall next to the laundry mat! I remember every Sunday we would go do our laundry and in the meanwhile my mom would take us to have pizza there. I absolutely am infatuated with their food. Beginning with the pizza and ending with some pasta. It’s tradition in my family to eat pizza here. Plus, the original owner has been here since when we first began eating here, the tall Italian older man with white hair. This is a must visit place! Hands down, best pizza in Manville.

Guy was cool enough to substitute the garlic bread I wanted for the regular bread and butter that usually comes with the pasta.

Best pizza in town. The place looked new and clean. There is a reason why it’s been around for a long time. The menu is diverse and has a lot to choose from although I always go for their pizza which is always consistant. I cannot stand when I go to other pizzerias and get a pie for $ 6 and it tastes like ellios. I would give it 5 stars but my travels around the world has lead me to taste better. Always will be my favorite around the area.

Almost everyone I know says this place is the best pizza they’ve ever had. To me the sauce isn’t the best, the cheese doesn’t have the best taste, and the breading in general is kind of «doughy» there are plenty of better pizzerias out there, and for a cheaper price too!

Went here for the first time with my wife tonight after another local favorite restaurant was closed. Food was good, we enjoyed it. My wife had stuffed shells, I had a pepperoni and sausage calzone. Both meals were enjoyable, service was relatively fast. The food is also a good deal, for 5.95 I got my calzone, ate half, and now I have lunch for tomorrow. Certainty not a place to write home about, but they are very good at the basic pizzeria foods. It seems like they’ve been there for a while, and if my wife and I are in the mood for pizzeria food we will probably go back. All in all, they seem to be a well established, inexpensive, friendly local restaurant. (From reading other reviews, after eating, apparently the pizza is out of this world, so we may try that, and if it is amazing, I’ll most definitely edit my review.)
