We booked a double queen room, spent 4 nights and it has been really nice the staff suggested some restaurant one is right next door. All the staff is nice and willing to go that ectra mile to make you feel comfortable and at home. The friend we had going with us is highly allergic to a lot of smells and cleaners. The staff has been extremely pleasant on helping the stay be pleasant. The pool was recently chlorinated when we checked in on friday, the rooms were clean and cooled for us. We requested an early check in and the room was ready for us by noon. Like i said nothing but nice and extremely flexable on making your stay pleasant. The hotel also has lost of pamphlet on local locations to visit, and have directions to them. We do plan on returning to the hotel in the future!

When I saw the only review for this hotel was I one star I read the review. I think there were some valid points but also some trivial items that would not bother most people. I travel a lot for work and almost always stay at a Best Western. I stayed for one night and I didn’t feel like this was a Best Western Plus or even a Best Western. The rooms did smell musky and I was quite disappointed to find cigarette burns on the comforter and stained sheets. This was gross. I would expect that at some hotels but not Best Western. Besides this the room was descent and I was able to get some sleep. The breakfast was good and had the typical continental breakfast lineup. Not a horrible place to stay but in no way can this be considered at Best Western Plus.

Only hotel I have found that offer double king bed room, but that is the best I can say about my 7 night stay here. Breakfast is the same items every day without any change. If you don’t arrive when it first opens, you won’t get what you may want. The staff do not restock the breakfast offerings so it is truly first come, first serve or you go hungry! The cool part of breakfast that my kids liked was the Texas shaped Belgium waffle that you make. Indoor pool is chilly and the hot tub is fair. The nights and days we used the pool area it smelled like wet dog. Towels are not left in pool area to dry off so you have to ask at front desk before you get wet. Fitness center is ok but again no towels or water provided. If it rains, the windows pour water into the AC/Heat unit and floor so rooms can smell musty at times. Ceiling fans may or may not work and staff are not willing to have you change rooms. Halls inside hotel are kept extremely hot in summer and just not cooled as they should be so if you are on the 3rd floor expect to break out in pouring sweat before you get to your room. The AC works great in your room and is controlled by wall thermostat but owners can adjust temp while you are away to surprise you with a very hot room upon your return. Towels are not soft and fluffy as you would expect, and most are stained so you have to worry if they are really clean or just put up dirty. The maid service is poor at best. We arrived to a room that was not ready as promised at 3 pm so we had to wait until it could be finished. It was pretty much hit or miss if you received maid service on a daily basis. We went 3 days without any service to our room and owners had no explanation other than to say that maid for our floor had to leave early and they would make sure room was taken care of next day. We arrived and booked room showing 4 people in room but we were only left towels for 2 people. In turn we had to go to first floor desk to retrieve towels, wash cloths and hygiene products every evening upon our return to the room. Satellite tv is offered at hotel and limited channels are offered and few my pre-teens were interested in watching. No weather channel offered due to technical glitch where channel was fuzzy and had no sound. 42 channels offered with HBO and Showtime the movie channel offerings. Bed was fairly comfortable but sagged in the middle. Pillows were too soft and not supportive for head and neck. Sheets were comfortable but only thin blanket on bed with thin cover for bed. So if you have issues with some people in room being cold and others hot, you better bring extra blanket to keep you comfortable. No extra blankets available or pillows. King bed had 4 standard size pillows but if you need more none are available unless you bring your own! Each room offers microwave and small refrigerator but both were dirty when we arrived and never cleaned out while we were here even after asking to be done. Guest laundry is on 2nd floor but do not fill with water to correct level for washer. Dryer takes more than 2 times to dry clothes. They have 2 washers and dryers along with steel rolling laundry cart to transport clean items back to your room. Not all ice machines work on each floor and the one snack machine on the 3rd floor was broken the whole time we were at hotel. They sell snacks and drinks by entry desk but very expensive for what offered. We had requested rooms on first floor next to each other but when we received room assignment we were on 3rd floor and on opposite ends of the hall as far away from each other as possible. When asked if this could be changed we were told that they were fully booked and there was nothing they could do even though we booked rooms a month in advance thru hotel and told of request so kids would not be far from parent oversight at night! Doors to room do not work properly and are hard to unlock and enter room and difficult to use safety latches at night. I could not give rating of more than one and a half stars max out of 5. We don’t plan to return to this hotel in the future; we will pay the extra to stay in Pearland and drive farther to reach family in Rosharon, TX. This hotel independently operated by Indian family who take turns running desk 24 hrs each day. Coffee and hot water are offered 24 hrs a day but expect coffee to be cold or not fresh and hot water not able to make hot tea. Handicap parking is limited to 4 spaces and those without proper tags or need were filling these spots, including owner of hotel so guest in extreme need were out of luck. Most individuals who stay in this location are contract workers or truck drivers on the road. Small parking lot with not enough space if hotel fully booked so you better arrive early and order in dinner from Domino’s.
