La Quinta Inn & Suites Pearland

We stayed at this La Quinta over the Thanksgiving Holiday and had a good experience. We asked for a ADA accessible room upon arrival so my grandfather (who is missing a leg) could come and shower in our room. The staff was super sweet and tried to find a room that would work for us. Unfortunately none were available, but the GM did bring us a shower seat which ended up working just fine. She was very apologetic even though the situation was really out of her hands since we booked it wrong in the first place.
The rooms were a bit tight, but nicely kept up. The bathroom was pretty large and the water in the shower got super hot which was great.
My only complaint is regarding the WiFi. The connection wasn’t reliable in the room, constantly disconnecting and when it was connected it ran pretty slow.
Overall, we would probably stay here again.
Side note, AT&T has hardly any service in this hotel. My phone actually said no service when in the fitness center. Just something to keep in mind.

Extended stay at hotel. Staff are helpful and most very personable but a few need to work on people skills. We had 2 Queen beds which were fairly comfortable unless you have someone who moves a lot in bed and you might find yourself tossed off the bed due to construction issues. AC works great in room and no problems with bathroom or shower. Only down side is breakfast which is the same every day with little variety. Sweet rolls all taste the same and I’m not trying eggs because of looks and way presented daily. Rooms are fairly quiet but doors do not close quietly, but slam shut so you have to grab door to try and not disturb others when leaving room or building. Pool is outdoors and nice but hot tub is too hot to enjoy. Little to no shade until late afternoon when building creates shade over pool. Direct TV options were good and no problems with TV, microwave or small dorm size fridge. No way to control temperature in fridge so drinks are either semi cold or frozen but no freezer section in fridge. Pepsi products offered in drink machine ($ 1.50 a bottle) and machine with snacks is broken and not repaired in 12 days we stayed. Close to variety of restaurants and shopping. If traveling weigh more than 4 people, go for 2 room suite for extra space for everyone. Regular room of 2 queen beds can be tight for 4 adults or parents with teens! Parking can be tight if hotel is fully occupied.

Really nice clean and spacious rooms. Comfortable beds and pillows. The employees could be a little more welcoming. Vending machine out of order. Great location close to lots of restaurants and shops.

Clean, nice TV and direct tv, decent bed. Decent breakfast bar.
The only negative would be the bad paint job in the room we stayed in. But that didn’t effect our stay. We took advantage of the pool too.

The room is very large and they are pet friendly which is great because we are in between homes tonight. However the mini fridge is running but warm not good. There are stains on the blankets. There are also what looks like urine stains on the inside of the bathroom door! Gross.
