Walgreens

Ever since I have moved to Manteca, this has always been my favorite Walgreens. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and patient.
During the 1^st week of January ’16, I dropped off a VHS at the photo center, which was converted into a DVD 1 week later. The application, drop off, and pick up process were all simple and quick, and I definitely intend to take my Passport photo’s here as well.

Walgreens seems to be a problem nationally. You have to watch the sale prices carefully. Things at the cash register don’t always have the sale price. Coupons can be a problem, too. I generally wouldn’t shop Walgreens except for sale prices and coupons. Their prices are high; however, they’re not worse than Rite Aid or CVS.
I went into this store looking for a dental guard, as I had broken a tooth. They had a few options, but it seemed that I would either pay around $ 30 for good stuff or $ 15 for junk.
I ended up somewhere else getting something good for $ 17 with an instant coupon.

Great place to go if you need a few things or a lot of things. Very friendly staff. If you want to get in and out quickly I recommend going to the cosmetics register. Renie is very helpful and can even find coupons for you.

Quite possible to worst walgreens pharmacy I’ve ever been to. Never enough pharmacy staff (which is unfortunate for the staff working) the line inside and outside is forever 7 or more people or cars deep. Today im standing in line and they have ONE pharmacy tech working the counter and NOBODY working the drive thru. It’s quite a mess.

I came to this store today for the first time. I was not feeling so good since i’m sick. Lucky for me i had the best customer service i could ask for. Everyone in the pharmacy was really friendly. I got helped by pharmacy tech, Steven, he was really nice, fast, and professional. The store was clean and nicely organized. My prescription was done in only 30 minutes. I will definitely come here from now on.

Be careful, this store is handing out counterfeit $ 5 bills. I went back after receiving one and they told me I was out five dollars and the Saturday night manager was very rude about it. Him and his coworker were even laughing about it as I left. Stay away from this store.

This is strictly a review of the Walgreens store itself, it has nothing to do with the pharmacy. For whatever reason, Walgreen’s has a consistent service issue with their pharmacy, and this location poses no exception to issues.
Initially, my first impression of a store is of it’s cleanliness, organization, and stocked merchandise.
All carts where put away and in good, clean working order. This is especially important when I shop frequently with my 3 ½ year old daughter. This is a drugstore. If the carts are not maintained and kept clean, I cannot trust that my child won’t catch some virus that another customer headed to the pharmacy to get medication for.
The shelves are stocked well, and you’ll frequently pass someone that is stocking shelves. They are friendly, many of them love saying hello to my daughter, and offer any help with finding anything I need.
Next, I typically find an issue of empty registers. During slower times, employees are allowed to wander away from the register to work on other projects, so long as the register in within eyeshot. If someone in cosmetics spots me, they immediately offer to ring up my purchase there. If not, I’m spotted way before I reach the register and my items are quickly rung up and bagged. They are always courteous, friendly, and informative.
Overall, you don’t typically get such great service from a drug store. It’s the small mom and pop stores that have fewer items (unfortunately) that have the best service. This store is quite the exception. I drop by 2 – 3 times per week because it’s close to where I live and I can do my shopping in smaller increments, and choose a movie from the RedBox located outside.
I’ll continue shopping here so long as they continue to stay consistent with all of the above mentioned things!

Walgreens is a pretty good Store and i recommend going here if you need to pick up a few things. This store has great Customer Service, the Employees are friendly, Walgreens offers coupons & rewards cards, and they have a Pharmacy & Photograph Processing Area. Also, this Walgreens is always clean & organized. The only things that i do not like about Walgreens is that they don’t sell Weapons, Ammunition, Video Games & they don’t have a wide selection of Movies to buy. So, with all this being said, i give the Manteca Walgreens a * * * 3 Star Rating.

Aaaaahhhh what is wrong with these people! I literally found zero customer service here! I called to get a Rx I have been waiting for for 5 days and sat on hold for 25 min the automated system said my call was next. I finally hung up called the main store and was told they could not find a pharmacist so the pharmacy part of a 24 hour pharmacy was closed! I have had problems with this pharmacy before but this take the cake! ~I think that what is lacking today is real customer service. the respect that, we the consumer that pay their pay check have a right to ask for them not to be rude and disrespectful. This should not be tolerated something has to be said in order to say we as humans deserve respect regardless of color race income etc… The only way to change something is to say something the more the better. If you see any of my other postings on Unilocal you will see that I refer to costumer service as being «here or not found here» it is because in the retail business it is important to put your treatment and care of the customer first… ON YOUR LIST IF JOB DUTIES! ~

I love Walgreens and this experience really backed up my love for Walgreens. I had a situation I really needed taken care of or I’d have had some problems. Walgreens was there when I needed them and the employee was extremely helpful. I felt right at home. I was very comfortable. I even bought snacks and bread. They have a great drink selection too.

This is the pharmacy I do my business with. Been doing business with Walgreens as a whole for several years for now. I have been doing business with this particular location since I moved out here in June 2011. The weird thing is I thought I already reviewed this place. I reviewed the one in Vegas only not this one because I am a nerd. LOL now that we got that out of the way. Well I can say I have had enough experiences here to write a book but Unilocal does have a limit. I am going to balance out my rating based on everything.
Customer Service– This is as good a place as any to start. Honestly it is hit or miss (mostly miss). They have nice people working there and on the other hand they have some people that need to consider another profession that does not involve working with people at all. I’ll break it down.
Bad :
There are times where they hold prescriptions even though your doctor approves them yet they refuse to provide any explanation and you have to have your doctor call back and make them release it.
Being told a RX was ready for pickup then going to pick it up and being told it would not be ready until the following day.
When you call to inquire about an RX certain people will get snippy with you just for simply asking a question.
Long hold times
Does not always fax RX refill requests when asked or re-​fax them when the doctor’s office requests a re-​fax
Poor communication with our doctor’s office
Makes you feel rushed when you call to inquire about status of RX
Whenever I go inside to p/​u my RX I am ignored. I will stand there and be the only customer in line and there will be 3 people working back there and they will act like they don’t see me. (I only go inside when I need to make a purchase).
They seem to only care about drive thru customers.

Good:
Both night pharmacists allow you to pickup refills at midnight instead of making you wait until 8am. Great for when we had a flight leaving the next morning at 6am and the day pharmacist told us we could not pick them up until 8am. It’s not like we need our medication on our trip or anything.
Quick turn around times for filling Rx

Convenience– Honestly this is the one thing that is keeping me as a customer. the convenience factor here. Because customer service is lacking. Here is how they are convenient:
1. Open 24÷7÷365
2. Drive thru service
3. User friendly mobile app
4. User friendly web site
5. Multiple locations
6. Easy location to location RX transfers (even on state levels)
7. Accepts a lot of different insurances
In summation like I said before the crap customer service really does suck to handle but I have started to arrange to pick up my prescriptions at night so I can deal with the night shift because they are phenomenal. Both pharmacists are laid back and kind and the techs actually know what they are doing. On top of that the convenience factor is too great too ignore. If I find myself having to deal with the day shift I either hope to get someone nice or I just remember the convenience and I get through it. If another pharmacy out there offered all that Walgreens offered with better service I would change in a minute but at least their night shift is their saving grace and I am a night owl anyway. I am doing this review at 2:00am. So if you want to use this pharmacy avoid the day shift. good luck.

Definitely a nice place to shop the facility looks fairly new or recently renovated. I was able to get most of the things I wanted during my preChristmas visit. I do like the store because they are open 24 hours, the place is kept clean and it feels fairly safe.
Of course I may be wrong about how safe the place is; I just know I have never gotten hit up with pesky panhandlers or charity beggers.
Anyway the selection is good, not great so don’t expect to fill all your needs on one visit. Either the inventory is out of stock or selection is limited.

regular walgreen/​drugstore, the people here just looks at you without saying, «oh do you need help finding anything?» and they even give you a smile so that is why i only go here for emergencies only. they prices are why overpriced and could get them better at walmart for a better price.
