This place always has great mexican bread. It reminds me of my parents, and grandmother. It has great flavor and quality. I haven’t tried their cakes but, their are lots of reviews Wich people seem to enjoy.

Very nice variety. Very fresh… nothing outstanding or different from others. Their pumpkin empanada bread is dry! Not tasty at all…

Update: this place a hit or miss. Honestly when its a hit the bread is soooooo good! Perfect almost. Its probably because they had baked it not too long ago, but I’m unsure when they bake it because i have gone at the same time And the bread sucks and taste stale. So at its best it truly is the best, even comparable to Pink Elephant in SJ Bay Area.

Yummy Mexican Cookies! Cute bakery with lots of cakes and breads to choose from! Manteca has a lot of Mexican stores to go to but this seems to be the most clean and accessible bakery to go to. Everything here looks fresh and good quality.

Best tres leches cake ever! We ordered it with the peach filling and it was loved by all… even those who don’t like tres leches cake! We will definitely order from here in the future.

I love laurita! Their coffee is delish with a hint of cinnamon in it(yum). The bread… THEBESTINMANTECA! Fresh and yummy. They have so many different kinds of selections that taste to die for. When i got there bolillo had just come out of the oven so I got to take home some WARM bolillo.(Left my car smelling delish) Got there and the lady was ready to go fast and friendly service. Got in and out with my big box of pan dulce, bolillo, and coffee. Great bread, fast service what more could I ask for.

New to the area… Looking for some good«Pan Dulce»… this place is «alright». The lady who attended me was in a hurry to get my order and get me out the door! & there wasn’t even anyone else there but me! :/They do take debit/credit, but charge an extra fee. When I asked if they made other types of cakes, she gave me short, non-friendly answer — «No.» Umm ok, thanks!!! The bread I purchased was fresh but the flavor was just«alright»… On the hunt again for some delicious Pan Dulce! Honestly if customer service was better I’d go back every now and then(on emergency runs lol) but I’m hoping I don’t have to…

The pastries here are good. Very soft and fresh bread. I went around 2pm the other day and got fresh bread just out of the oven. Customer service was quick and great. I’m glad I’ve found a spot to get my mexican bread fix!

I have ordered tres leches cakes at this panaderia for a long time and they have NEVER disappointed me. My recent order was by far the largest. I ordered a tres leches cake for more than 70 people for my daughters baptism. This cake was super heavy and large and when I picked it up they insisted they put the cake in the car for me, I thought that was very thoughtful of them. I drive an SUV but if you don’t drive a car with a big trunk order 2 smaller cakes than 1 large one if you have a large party. I ordered half strawberry and half pineapple both flavors were great but my favorite will always be strawberry because they used fresh strawberries. I love this panaderia!!!

Wish there were more Panaderia’s near Livermore. But we always stop here for goodies when we are in the area. Everything is very fresh and very tasty. I have no clue what the names of the pastries/cookies are so I point at the ones I want. I like the crescent shaped sweet sugary bread one that has pink bread in the middle. I also like the oval shaped one that is easy to dunk in my coffee. Their cookies are really good too. Large and very filling. The one with sprinkles is my favorite. Dude likes the chocolate chip one — its crumbly like a shortbread. They take ATM/Debit cards but there is a very small fee. The people here are very nice and patiently answer all my questions.

Manteca has the best Pan Dulce at Laurita’s Bakery! I come here super early on the weekends and get my fresh pan dulce from here. I just ordered a cake for my Son’s 6th b-day. I had one chocolate layer, one Vanilla Layer with Strawberries and Banana filling. The fruit was fresh considering it was already Winter. The design was beautiful and they had it made on time! They also accept Visa and Mastercard! Going to try the tortas next. Can’t wait!

After having a huge meal at Johnny’s, we saw that this bakery was open and I knew I wanted a Mexican sweet roll with my morning café con leche. God bless the fiancé who did a semi-uey so that I could get some morning grub. We got there just before they closed last night but the woman at the counter was friendly. I got two rolls and two sweet empanadas(one sweet potato and the other strawberry). When we got home last night we were greeted with no electricity so I forgot the pastries in the car and thought we’d have sweet hockey pucks this morning. No sir-ee! I popped those babies in the oven, wrapped in foil, and a few minutes later we had warm rolls and empanadas that were delicioso! I know other Unilocalers have had the experience of going to a bakery at the end of the day and encountering old/hard pastries. They were soft and fresh enough last night to eat but we were stuffed. This morning they were just as good but shivering(since they spent the night in the car) — and at $ 2.45(with the Ice Cream Tea Cookie last night) a bargain. Thanks Laurita, we’ll be back!
