Gk Mongolian Bbq

The food here is great, and you get to make it the way you like. The downfall is they usually only have 1 person that is responsible for waiting on all the guest, cashing them out, and busting the tables, it’s a lot for one person to handle.

I’m saddened. I eat here all the time and for the first time. I was treated extremely poor. It makes me not want to come back. It was approximately 20 minutes to 9:00. I drove almost 2 hours to met up with family and to stop here to get a quick bite to eat. Quick!!. I walked through the door and people were still eating. They usually sometimes let us come in anyways and just get a quick bowl. The waitress inside said we are no longer taking any more customers but only for take out. The other guy behind the counter said were all closed down bro. I walked out feeling bad and to make matters worse. The guy behind the counter yells something rude.
I GOTTA pay my bills man. Gotta pay my Bills.
I don’t know if it was directed at me but. I felt it was and it was extremely rude. I don’t think it was exactly what he said that got to me. I think it was how he said it.
In the restaurant industry you never are you to turn customers away until the restaurant is officially closed. It’s bad business practices. So I’ll probably think twice before coming back here at least for a while.
I went to another restaurant instead that actually let us come in and eat and this restaurant had already closed and this restaurant still let us in to dine.
It looks like I can check this restaurant off my list. Any one going to this restaurant just be aware if you don’t want to get treated like crap. Don’t come here when it’s 30 minutes until they close. You’ll be treated rudely. I’m disappointed in this place now so I give them a 1 star.:(

Listenww up fam, don’t get me wrong, the food is good; however, I was not that impressed. As soon as I walked in, I noticed that every single table was covered in left over bowls, cups, silverware, and garbage. I swear a homeless man could walk around to each table and have a full meal before they would pick it up. Once we got our food, we asked for the biscuits with the sesame seeds and after waiting 45 minutes they finally brought them to us. We had to ask three different times for the biscuits and twice for a water refill. Bruh, I don’t understand how someone could get hired when they can do a simple thing as refill my water. Oh and where one would get veggies, there are veggies all over the floor and counter. It is unbearably gross and i don’t understand how they pass their health inspection. They had five workers, two cooking, and their service was still trash.

I LOOOOOVEEEEE this place!!! I would always go to the one in Tracy but once they opened up this one, I’ve been going ever since! I bring my family here and they love it as well. Never have had any problems and their veggies are always fresh!

Very very disappointing Mongolian BBQ experience. Having been to other establishments that have the same concept, this was very much a let down. The meat options are very limited, veggies limited, sauces and spices lack variety. The sides were very poorly made. The staff is friendly and always working their butts off I must say.

Tasty Mongolian BBQ that you get to watch made right in front of you. It costs $ 8 (well it did last time I was there) to get a bowl of meat and pasta with various veggies and sauce, and it is buffet style, so you can keep coming back for more. They have many choices and the sauces are awesome. Very filling

DO NOT let the outside fool you. I’ve been craving Mongolian BBQ for weeks & found my cure! We went during rush hour lunch & the 3 young men working ran a smooth ship. The meats, veggies, & sauces were full & fresh. For the price, I was thoroughly impressed, especially since my drink stayed full! :)

Love the food! So happy they opened one in Manteca! Don’t have to drive to Stockton anymore :)

Went there on 10÷9÷15 for lunch. It’s dirty and overpriced. Only one of these I have gone to that charges per bowl. Waitress/​teller had more food on her than my bowl did. Cook and dishwasher were busy working but for the amount of people there. There was no reason for it to be so dirty close to opening time.

The food here is pretty good, however, the place needs a good deep cleaning on the inside. It’s not the cleanest place around…

Came in around lunch time with my family of 4. They were extremely busy but quickly set up a table for us. The place was a bit messy however the staff was busting their behinds to clean tables off and restock veggie/​meat trays and serving bowls. The staff was friendly and the young man whom I believe was the manager was really going out of his way to make sure all customers were happy.
The food was very good and cooked to perfection for me. I always pack my bowl with too much and end up having to take a to go box. Which they gladly provide.
It is a bit small inside this location so I wouldn’t recommend this place for big groups if they’re busy. It can be a bit messy in here also as people who load up their bowls with meat, noodles and veggies try to pile it high so food tends to spill everywhere. With that being said. The food here is delicious & the customer service was on point. I will gladly be back.

For a food experience i am familiar with, this place does not have a lot to offer. I have seen better selection in terms of sauces to mix an match while you go mad scientist on your bowl that is ready for the rotating madness that is Mongolian BBQ cooking style. The toppings themselves are nothing spectacular. I wish they offered a hot bar of food to go along with the noodle based meal you craft yourself and to your liking.
This was a disappointing but not horrid experience in that there are better places to seek Mongolian BBQ. My review is based on a lunch time visit. Would not return!

Not bad. Very filling and i didin’t realize it was all you can eat so considering that I didin’t know that and thought it was a little pricey. Service was great, very attentive. Just wish they would’ve told me how it worked a little better. Seemed like a nice clean place with decent food.

I love Mongolian bbq! Never had a problem! It’s the best and very clean! Jus know to put ur choice of meat then vegetables, push it all down then ur noodles on top of that with choice of sauces. I personally put 3 scoops of the one I want. Every person I made it for loved the bowl I made! It’s delicious!

Every time I come here the guy working is awesome. He tells employees to clean the grill for me because he knows I’m vegan. I always stuff my face and my drinks and biscuits are always refilled. Food coma time.. .

We gave GK a try tonight and I was very surprised. The outside is unspectacular but don’t let that fool you.
The staff was very friendly and attentive.
The food quality is very good and it was all you could eat for a very reasonable price.
Highly recommend this place.

Almost went to a Mexican restaurant in the same shopping center and I’m glad I saw this Mongolian BBQ place across the parking lot. For starters, the service/​waitress was top notch, she couldn’t have been any more attentive or nice, great service. Food wise, I was expecting to be disappointed, since I come from the bay area which has quite a few Mongolian BBQ restaurants.
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Noodles were bigger and better, frozen slices of meat were thicker and had less fat than places in the Bay Area. There was a whiteboard at the register that listed exactly
Where the veggies came from, and accept for the tomatoes, everything was locally grown. Great food, great service, reasonable price, what more could you ask for. This place will be in my regular rotation for dining out.

We walked in and my husband and I were greeted right away, the waitress was really friendly and on top of everything, always asking how we are doing, and if we want more refills! They had a lot of different selections. The place was a fairly clean restaurant (cleaner than a lot of other places) and they are really fast. We are definitely coming back here.

Don’t hang light fixtures of your going to let dust collect on them over the Buffett food. Bowls had crusty stuff on the inside waitress didn’t seem surprised when I told her. Food is great but cleanliness they get a zero. Carpets had clumps of dirt on them. Very very dirty

This place was okay. My family and I came in during their lunch special. It was rush hour when we came. We’re big noodle fans and thought this place was okay. My noodles were pretty flavorful because of all the sauces I combined together but I felt the rest of the food could’ve used more flavor. I felt the way the noodles were placed in the bowl could’ve been a bit more cleaner. The portion size is decent but the Feng shui of the place feels a little off. If you’re looking for a place to grab a quick bit for noodles in Manteca, this is technically the only place here.
