Ok. Where do I start? If you want mediocre hibachi, a pathetic show, a long wait, at prices $ 5 less than Benihana — this is your place! We made a reservation for 7pm on a Monday night for 8 people. This place was PACKED. We weren’t sat until 7:45. Once sat, the soup came out cold(not a big deal — the soup isn’t why we were here). Our hibachi guy came out and I don’t know where in the world he came from. I’m not sure if he was drunk or just old, but there was NO show. He barely had his eyes open! Finally, once the food made it to our plate my scallops were overcooked and chewy and my «fried rice» was more like«burned to sh*t» rice! So, my recommendation? Absolutely DONOTGOHERE. Not worth it! Go to Benihana and pay a premium for better food!

Coming from Alaska I was skeptical about how fresh the seafood would be but I was pleasantly surprised. I have been here a few times! This is our go to place when we are craving sushi we have not been disappointed. We have not been to the hibachi side yet. But for sushi this is a must try!

They were able to cook all my stuff separately in the back. I am a strict vegetarian. I was delighted that the veggie delight entrée came with tofu. The hibachi chef put on a really awesome show. They were able to refill all drinks super quickly. The sushi rolls are delicious. The service was great and the place is very clean and decorated nicely. I will come back.

Was clean, stylish and they make great food. The sushi is fresh and tasty and the Hibachi is well done and pretty entertaining as well. Will go again to enjoy the experience.

For the love of all that is holy this dinner was ridiculous. Walking in it’s crowded– probably b/c it was Friday night in Mansfield and there’s not too many places to choose from. Despite having a reservation our table wasn’t ready. Also they will not seat you until your entire party has arrived. So we crammed into the waiting area/bar. Why is there no bartender at the bar? What the hell. So good luck on getting a drink. The hosts seem very frazzled. So does the rest of the staff running around like crazy to be honest. Once we were seated at our table our server took our drink order(dropped 2 trays of drinks coming back to us) then shortly after took our dinner order. Our server seemed very rushed. That’s probably why he dropped the trays of drinks. One of our diners had an allergy and he either wasn’t listening or was so out of it he just forgot and still brought her food with the allergens. Good thing she caught it. We literally waited 1 hour from the time we ordered until we got a hibachi cook. They were painfully understaffed. Once we got a cook things went well. Thank god I was at dinner with some lovely people so we had plenty to chat about during the hour lull. Get it together guys. Hire some more staff. Obviously you need it.

Great sushi and hibachi place. I go here for lunch frequently and the specials are a great value and I’m full when I leave. Friendly wait staff and sushi chefs know what they’re doing.

The food was great, but the service was not. We decided to try sake for our date night since they had a coupon for $ 29.99 dinner for 2. We advised our server when she came to take our order that we had a coupon. When we received our ticket we gave her the coupon and she went to have it adjusted. When we received our ticket back it only had been discounted $ 8.00 we ask to speak with a manager because it should have been discounted at least 12.01 according to our coupon. The manager advised that it was for the entrée only and that the fried rice was extra. And that they have had several customers that miss understood their coupon. It says hibachi dinner for 2 $ 29.99 valid for any two entrée’s. While looking at the menu at the table I did not see anything that said that fried rice was extra but on their to go menu it advises that. That was my first and last time visiting that establishment.

Tonight was our fourth visit. I walked in thinking this was a five-star restaurant, but I am so terribly disappointed tonight that I had to rethink that. First of all, let me describe what we have here — to the left is the classic Hibachi restaurant; to the right is the sushi bar. I am only reviewing the sushi bar. On previous visits, we have gone straight to their menu of rolls and been very pleased. They have some creative stuff, including«The Big Apple,» which is rolled in thin-sliced cucumber. Tonight, however, we noticed something called«Sushi Heaven» consisting of «18 pieces of sushi» of the chef’s choice. This sounded like a great idea, though I wondered why the price tag was $ 40. I expected we were going to see and taste something superlative on the creative side. Alas, I was wrong. We got 18 pieces of Nigiri Sushi. Although they looked pretty, I was completely disappointed. Expecting some truly creative and mind-blowing rolls, we were left to ponder the logic of 18 slices of fish on top of small blocks of sticky rice. Shame on me for not sending it back. The seared Ahi pieces were nice, but the Amberjack was dry & chewy. I swear, I don’t get the price tag. For a little over half that price, one can get two nice & tasty rolls. I think it is patently misleading to simply say«sushi» and expect that I am going to know what you are going to serve me. Additionally, the sushi bar was incredibly hot and stuffy. Our server that they just turned the A/C up… on a nearly 100-degree day! I should further add that one of the hostesses was dressed in sandals & what can only be described as a teddy. A server set dirty dishes down next to a plate of sushi waiting to go to a table. Every other visit has been very, very good, and some of tonight is our fault for not asking more questions. It would have been nice if the server had told us what the sashimi on each was, but I still go back to the fact that the menu just said«sushi.» I expect more for my money and am not sure I can overcome today’s disappointment to make a return visit. It feels like they stole my trust.

All the food is amazing. The chefs are entertaining. Martina’s are out of this world. Their house cab is delicious. From hibachi to sushi it is a win win

While I’m not a big sushi fan, I was tired of burgers and bbq and decided to make a stop here. I didn’t feel like putting up with the«Benihanagins»(…you know what I mean… the«show» the chef puts on while cooking at a Benihana, thus, …Benihana + shenanigans = «benihanagans»), so I opted for the sushi bar. I was seated quickly and water provided right away. My server did a nice job of recommending some selections and keeping the Kirin coming. I had several different types of sushi; some I really liked(the Florida roll, the Big Apple), some I didn’t care for so much(the Texas roll [eel: do not like!]). Service throughout my visit was good. Prices were very reasonable. I’d go back.

Worst service ever! Waiter had no idea what drinks they had or any specials, had to ask someone and never had a clear answer. Waited over 45 minutes for two sushi rolls and they never brought out the appetizer. The food was nothing special and warm will never go back here again. Our waiter only came by to take the order, other than that my husband had to get up to request drink refills, get and pay the check. Terrible food and terrible service, don’t waste your time and money.

Oh I love this place. The Sushi in particular is fantastic, the Hibachi chicken has a great taste without being too powerful. I’ve not tried many things on the menu but I found most of the food to be more authentic feeling then the buffet sushi restaurants I’ve been to. The flavors are simpler but to me are of a higher quality, not all salty and overly-powerful like you’d find in your generic Chinese restaurant(I know this isn’t a Chinese restaurant haha).

Pretty good. Only complaint was when they were cleaning up around us while we were still eating they pull all the chairs out and is hard to get up to go to the restroom and one guy was slamming the chairs under the table. Food was pretty good not my favorite hibachi restaurant but no major complaints about the food. Waitress was super slow too.

Nom, Nom, Nom… Husband and I had a coupon so we decided to give this place a try and we are so glad we did! We went around 4:30, so it wasn’t crowded and we got our own hibachi show — to which we were not disappointed. I had the filet with lobster and husband had the chicken and steak. Both were super yummy and the show was fun! The place was clean, the service is great! We’ll be back!

Wish I could give this place zero stars. Food is mediocre and management is super rude. Manager at the front punched the beer boxes near the entrance after yelling at the hostess(what looked like a high school girl) in front of 10 – 15 customers waiting to be seated. Waited 45 – 60 mins to get seated then another 30 to get a glass of water. Then another 15 – 20 to get our order in. Hibachi chef was okay but could tell he didn’t want to be there or was rushing to get to the next table. You pay the high price to see a happy and entertaining chef prepare your food. It’s part of the whole habachi experience. This is my second time here and the second time I’ve had a bad experience. If you choose to ignore this warning… At least don’t get the sushi. Go to suzushi down the st for that. Looking forward to the day Mansfield has a true Habachi restaurant.

Joined our friends for dinner here on Sunday evening. Everyone ordered hibachi style dinner. Nothing particularly exciting about this place, but everything tasted good! This is not a part of town that we frequently visit, but we would return to this restaurant. If we do, I’ll sample the sushi and cocktails and leave a more detailed review.

The food was pretty good and was displayed well. Erika, our waitress was on it. She was very prompt and fast and really nice. And cute even. The food was a bit pricey. Would have given 5 stars if not for that. But. Well be back.

Very cool place, reminds me of Benihana’s here in LA. Simple format, you sit with others with the grill centered. I was with a few friends, we had a good time with the chef who was doing tricks for everyone. FOOD — fresh, grilled to perfection. Chef was entertaining and the waitress was on top of all drink orders. YAY! BAR — we decided to have a drink at the bar, left the dining table, and they have a sake machine which I hadn’t seen prior. The bartender was nice, made excellent drinks. I would recommend, next time I’ll try the sushi bar. Clean, wonderful people, and willing to make sure you’re happy.

Typical, run of the mill Hibachi joint. Tables on one end, sushi on the other. Half of the table-chefs seemed to take pride in their act. The rest simply went through the motions. The service is very good, attentive, smiling and friendly(something many other Hibachi restaurants lack). The food was prepared properly and they add fresh garlic to the butter they cook with!(bonus points for that) They do not have bean sprouts with is a big«wtf» in my book but meh, I can live without em. The menu contains a plethora of meat/seafood combinations which is above-standard in my teppanyaki experiences. Also of note — if coming with a party, try to get everyone there at the same time. They don’t seat partial-parties.

Very good food.. my female friend has me hooked on this place.. It beats every thing else.. I remember the first time she took me there and I tried seaweed salad. It was good and the coconut soup was good too. . All and all it was good it’s one of my favorite place. . Staff is friendly. Its clean place.. On the grill side the chiefs do things to make children laugh and they put on a good show for everyone at the table.
