Nails by Jordan

Went here with some friends to get our nails done for a wedding. Worst service I have ever received from a nail salon. Employees were rude and had made two out of the four of us bleed. Asked for a rounded square tip and received jagged uneven nails. I like the color and the pedicure was good but the manicure is some of the worst I have ever received. Extremely over priced for poor quality. Paid $ 70 without tip for a pedicure and manicure gel set. Will not recommend this to others.

I was in Mankato for a meeting and had time to get a pedicure. Every three months I enjoy a pedicure. As a male I often find I’m the only man in the place. This can be uncomfortable at times and I find the different nail shops create an atmosphere either welcoming or not towards men. Nails By Jordan was very welcoming. I called to see if they had an opening. I was in the chair twenty minutes later. The older man was kind in his own way, but the differences of our cultures become obvious. In my travels around the country I have found one shop in Ft Myers FL that was in a class above all others. Today’s experience was like all the others but it’s modern design and quiet approach was appreciated. No one tried I up sell me the deluxe pedicure package repeatedly as I sit captive with my feet exposed. I found the place warm and the right amount of friendly. I would strongly recommend. Parking is in the strip mall lot.

Was referred to this location. Didn’t check for reviews and a bit sorry I didn’t. The service provided was good. However, I have an issue with a child taking my payment and deciding for me how much I would be tipping the employee. So one star based on bad customer service practices
