Mountain Living Studio

Beautiful variety of art from local artists. There’s more to see upstairs!
I want to buy the whole store. All of it. I could spend an entire day in this studio and never get bored, simply get lost in the beauty.

I’ve never bought a piece of art until I saw the amazing local selection at Mountain Living Studio. One of several galleries downtown, this one boasts of all kinds of different artists and styles from southwest hand-​drawn to eclectic and abstract. I bought a piece entitled «Breckenridge» and am so excited with it.
It has an upstairs gallery that boasts more of local artists and they have shows frequently. If you’re looking for local art (literally everything from tile size to wall size and all prices in between,) then give this place a shot!

Very interesting gallery with amazing and unique items.
I personally loved the jewellery selection and bought two pieces. Prices for the jewellery were very reasonable for a gallery.

LOVE this place!
Some may say I’m biased because I know the person who runs it, but I’m be totally objective. Really.
I’ve never been much of an «artsy» person myself. Just never quite understood how some things could be considered art when I could have my dog flop around on some canvas — after he’s been dipped in paint. However, this is one of the places that has opened my eyes and made me appreciate it. At least most of it.
Large gallery and all sorts of different artists. Not just paintings, but jewelry, mixed media and so much more.
I’ve purchased twice and most recently shown my husband a local artist’s work I fell in love with. (Hint hint — Christmas is coming!)
What also makes this place great… the time, energy and love they put into the community. Bianca is always thinking about different ways to help out and is usually the one, from start to finish, that does most of the work — to include the original thought.

I was in town for the weekend and wanted to pick up a souvenir. While there are so many same-​olé-​same-​olé gift shops in Manitou, this is certainly not one of them. Everything is very well arranged while not being crowded. The ladies running the shop on Memorial Day were so helpful and kind. I was able to purchased some very nicely priced ceramics from a Colorado artist. The wonderful ladies also gave me an artist bio to take home.
