Just in town for the day on the cog train and swing in, no one else was there the entire time, no cheesy Chinese music, very quiet and clean. The food was hot, fresh, and honest. Fresh vegetables in the dishes. The fried rice had no flavor or vegetable or eggs though. But we were all satisfied and had leftovers.

Yeah we came in and ordered some food and first he got our order wrong. Then we got the food it was hella nasty. The duck had several white spots and we’ll see I will get food poisoning. They also have the store in their living room. My mum didn’t like it either.

This place is amazing! Soo good. Been coming here for years and tried a wide variety of their dishes, a few of my faves are the sizzling rice soup and the pu pu platter. The platter comes with a little grill and they light it for you and serve the meat on it, so cool! Would definitely recommend them!

A charming little restaurant with good prices, but both my wife and I got sick later. I had shrimp, my wife got chicken and we both had the fried rice. Any place that makes us sick gets only one star.

I made it to this restaurant in time for lunch, and I am so glad that I did. The hot and sour soup was amazing, the orange chicken was wonderful, and the rice and egg roll were both delicious. I am really picky about the meat that I eat, but the chicken here was all white meat and no fat was to be found. It really made my day. The only part that I didn’t enjoy was the restrooms. They need a bit of work done to them, but otherwise it was awesome.

I live in the area and I will not order from here. I tried three times and each time tasted the same even though each was a different dish. Only good thing is free delivery. Plan to spend the night in the bathroom

Good food, good service… the place looked a bit shabby… a half filled aquarium, with green water and large goldfish didn’t help the décor. I had the orange chicken which was sweet with a nice crunch, the steamed rice was just a bit mushy, the egg roll was greasy with a smooth skin but the inside was filled with crispy, tasty, fresh cabbage. The wonton soup was very good, not mushy and very hot.

We had the Hot and Sour and Wonton Soup, Orange Chicken, and Happy Family. Both soups were tasty, and the Happy Family was delicious. The Orange Chicken was a little too chewy and not the best. My in-laws really liked the Moo Shu Shrimp. Service was solid and prices reasonable.

I’ve been here twice. Once for dinner and the other for lunch. The dinner(which was delivered) by far was the best. This was our order which was to feed 2 people: egg rolls which were pipping hot and delicious! Szechaun chicken I liked but it was relatively bland and not hot at all. my fav was the orange chicken, they actually had orange rinds which created a burst of flavor. Both of these dishes said«hot» but neither me nor my bf had any type of ‘heat’ The lunch which i ordered and picked up was a different story. The resturant opens at 11:00 and i orded at 11:45. The egg rolls were VERY cold. like they were made at 11 and were marinating on a cold counter until someone ordered them. I ordered the egg drop soup and it was SUPER orange, i couldn’t eat a bit of it. I dipped my spoon and it had a thick layer of oil, very disappointing. I then ordered Mongolian Beef and that was tasteful and hot. Judging from the egg roll and the questionable egg drop soup I was skeptical about the mongolian beef. had it been sitting there for an hour + too? Rated it 3 stars bc the first time was great but the second was disastrous

Staying at a hotel near by we ordered delivery from here. The food was delivered very quick under 10 minutes. I ordered the sesame chicken and it was the best I’ve ever had, great flavor with just a little spice. Definitely will have again if I’m back in town.

I felt compelled to write this because we have eaten Jade Dynasty takeout twice since visiting Manitou Springs and we are very picky about our food. Both times and the food has been excellent and consistent. The family that owns the Restaraunt is lovely and you can tell that they take great care in preparing their food using fresh veggies etc. Make sure to ask for the special house hot mustard if you order eggrolls. Don’t let the outer appearance fool you these folks know what they are doing and won’t disappoint. Manitou and visitors should to support and enjoy this restaraunt.

Upon entering we were greeted warmly by the wait staff and promptly seated. In only a few mins our order was taken and we were sitting sipping on tea. Our bowls of soup were brought out and boy were they delicious. I had the hot and sour while the family are egg drop lovers. Both of the soups were tasty and piping hot. Once we were finished with the soups our entrees came out. We ordered sesame beef, moo goo gai pan and shrimp lo mein. All I can say is each were very delicious in their own way. The sesame beef was tender and lightly battered with a sweet yet slight spice to it. Very yummy was the shrimp lo mein with its noodles done to perfection. The shrimp was also cooked to perfection as well. Last but not least was the Moo goo gai pan. This was balanced dish of chicken and veggies in a light sauce. All I can say is nom nom nom. The price was right for a family of 4 with it being around 10 per head. The wait staff was on the ball with refills of drinks, rice and an extra fortune cookie or two for us kids at heart. If you are looking for a light tasty chineese meal that beats Panda Express. Than this is your place.

Tried Jade Dynasty for the first time today and was very pleasantly surprised! Loved the restaurant and most importantly the food. And, extremely impressed with the menu. There is a «healthy» dinner and lunch menu that comes with rice and soup and provides you with the number of CARBS per meal(Yes!), as well as other important calculations for those on specific diets. There is generous free parking, just as you are coming into Manitou, lovely purple & white cloth tables with service on beautiful light blue & white china, a fish tank, and looks like they may have a bar during the evenings. But, back to the food — we ordered off the healthy menu and our food was outstanding. It was fresh, delicious, cooked to order, and had just the right amount of flavor and spice. It was NOT loaded with sugar. It was NOT your typical fast chinese food… Hubby had the Schezuan Chicken and I had Mongolian Shrimp — YUMMIE! Can’t wait to return here. The staff are very nice and thanked us for our business. See you again soon, Jade Dynasty! Mr & Mrs. G.

As we were in search of a new Chinese restaurant,(our old one changed hands and it’s not good) we decided to try Jade Dynasty. The food was awesome! I tasted their Jasmine tea, wonton soup, egg drop soup, Almond Chicken, Lemon chicken and sesame chicken. I am not a big fried food fan but it was lightly and quickly fried and delicious. The vegetables were crisp and fantastic and the sauces made it all delish! Very tender chicken all around. Though the dining room was clean and the service was good, I would probably choose to order take-out next time. We were a bit chilly, but it did snow 3″ while we were in the restaurant! Jade Dynasty will have a repeat performance with our family.

Called because they had free delivery to motel. Ordered three entrees and soup. Was told it would be 20 to 30 for delivery. I swear they were there in less that ten. The food was still too hot to eat. Food was fresh and delicious. Excellent choice. It was even good the next day.

For the life of me, I can’t understand the bad reviews of the food here. Sure ambiance is lacking and the waitstaff and owner aren’t American, so they’re not going to act American, but I found the food to be fabulous. Having been to China a number of times, I cannot stand the nastiness of 2000 Wok or Panda Express. But this place… dang. Freshly made food, cooked to order and fast. We did go in at about 3, so there was only one other table being served, but I thought these guys did a great job. We had a great time talking to Diane, the owner(let not her American name fool you… she’s half Vietnamese, half Chinese and says she makes a mean phở). I ordered the sweet and sour chicken and it came out with the sauce on the side, which I thought was a great touch as it didn’t leave me with soggy chicken. The egg drop soup, egg roll, and cheese wonton all came with the lunch special and were all great. My husband ordered the sesame chicken which came on a bed of cabbage. The cashew chicken my dad ordered had a good helping of cashews. And my mom thoroughly enjoyed her chicken lo mein. All in all, I thought the food made up for anything that was lacking in ambiance and location. Do yourself a favor and check them out.

I can understand the criticisms of the ambiance. it’s unfair to hold small businesses to the standard of bigger ones. Specifically, small businesses don’t have a lot of start-up money. I’d rather the place be clean and«sterile» than dirty and comfy; I’m pretty sure if there is more dine-in, than take-out, the occupancy would supersede the empty feeling. The food is good. It’s standard Chinese-American fare(for some I’m assuming it’s not Americanized enough). It’s good if you know what you like because you can ask the owner if he can dish it up that way. This place may not be a Panda Express or one of Denver’s fancy Chinese restaurants, but, if you want good, reliable Chinese food(NOTGROSS like 2000 Wok) then visit China China.
