I would give zero stars if I could. The place was dirty, the service was horrible and the food wasn’t that good. One of my lamb sliders was completely raw and the kettle chips were a soggy cold mess. Our waitress tried really hard but there was no hostess, no bus staff, and not enough service staff. She was trying to do all of the jobs herself. We were here for almost 90 minutes start to finish. Awful experience. Never again!

Twice in two weeks, our family has gone to eat here and their doors are locked. The hours posted for winter are 9 pm for closing. And tonight, we brought our son to dinner before he moves to Japan tomorrow Twice… It was a special dinner and the doors were locked an hour before the closing time. No more chances…. We’re over it.

The worst service experience we’ve ever had. Waited over 75 minutes for food that arrived cold, not Luke warm but cold. On a table of 10 all who ordered burgers or boneless wings. First we were seated at a dirty table, then waited over 10 minutes for drinks, ordered our lunch and half way through a drink was spilled so the waitress threw a few towels on the table and went and took another tables order then circled back around to us to continue taking our order. and then sat and waited for over 75 minutes the excuse we were given was they ran out of buns… Lunch literally turned into dinner. When the food finally arrived it was cold, we paid for our drinks walked out and had the best burgers ever across the street at Baba’s burgers within 10 minutes.

This place is great! Lamb sliders are my favorite. Best fried pickles I have ever had! My friends have all had the burgers and have loved them. You can tell they are cooking with heart here! Staff has always been super friendly and their suggestions have been right on! The building is right on the creek and nice inside and out.

Love the scenery, the music, the chefs hospitality. Need better hostess however as she can be rude. The bar is cool and the bartenders are good. The food is good, not great, but if you combine the place and setting it is a good mix’

The Good: Significant selection of booze. Good, balanced menu. The Bad: Everything else. Came in for lunch. Dirty glasses. Filthy silverware. It’s apparent the owner is saving money on cheaper detergent. Dingy interior, but that kind of poor-trendy thing that Colorado is well known for. Examples of this exist on Tejon, as well as Boulder and Castle Rock. Rich hippies vibe. Horrid, overpriced and vaguely-racist native-American art. Menu is good and creative with great offerings. We sat ourselves per recommendation of the bartender. Drink order took 20 minutes when a waiter came around. Ordered two appetizers from a distracted waitress. Almost no one in the place. An hour later, it was full-up but still no food, neither for us or anyone else. Drinks were finally refreshed. Waitress didn’t know they had Diet Dr. Pepper but I could see it from where I was sitting and showed her, to which she acted over-the-top zany and bouncy. Instead of filling drinks, waitress kept counting heads at tables for some reason, and kept counting, for about 20 minutes, which was odd. Cooks were trying to bring out food themselves. She ignored this and kept counting like some crazy lady from a Stephen King novel. We watched items being sent back. Salad bowls are shaped oddly and several around us were struggling with the design, nearly dropping food all over the place, desperate hands trying to save tact. By an hour and a half, I said we’d pay for the drinks and leave. Waitress denied us this offer, said it wasn’t «fast food», that they had a large rush, and that our food would be up soon. Waited another 15 minutes, waitress still counting heads. Is this a joke? We put $ 10 for two diet sodas and were going to leave to which point she ran into the back like a crazy person, came out with an ice-cold appetizer and said the other would be on its way. I took one tentative bite of a dolmas and determined it had turned and was made a week or more ago and stood up in front of our waitress, handing my card. I said, «I’d like to pay for this right now and leave, please.» She ignored me like I wasn’t there, counting heads faster. I then got within inches of her with my card and said, «HEY! I’d like to pay and leave.» She kept counting tables still, finger pointing over my shoulder in desperation, very quickly, like I was a ghost and wasn’t there. The place only seats about 10 parties and is rather small. At this point, I was about to give her a gut-punch when she suddenly noticed me at kissing-distance, «Oh!» acting very surprised as if I materialized suddenly. I repeated, «Yes, I would like to simply pay for this item and leave please.» Then got very angry, «You know what? Just leave! JUSTLEAVE!» Very irate at me. I left. I think she was mentally ill, I couldn’t say. I’ve never encountered such horrible service in my whole life. I’ve been around the world for half a century and no country, no place ever had been so rude. The half of our order sat on the table. Others around me looked disgusted with their own food during the almost 2 hours we were there as well. With this kind of ridiculous service, it won’t last long. Food was coming out burnt and cold. Many around us complained about food being stale. This could be the worst restaurant on Earth. The burgers looked kinda good though.

Meh. The burger looked very good but the fish and chips was a small portion of mediocre quality and the service was not good. Too bad, it has a good vibe and location but it should have been better.

This place is reviewed so well, I wonder if I went to the right place. The first TWO drinks I ordered they were out of. It’s written on a chalkboard, people. How about just erasing it? We ordered the house salad which is huge but also just like a bag salad mix with some tomato and onion(which I asked them to leave off but they gave me anyway). Way overpriced at $ 7. I also ordered a slice of ham and pineapple pizza. It was bland and I was never brought the red pepper and parm I asked for. But more upsetting was that it was brought to me cold. The cheese was not even melted. I could not eat it. When the cook came out to see how we liked our meal and we told him he said, «Well, you should have ordered something else.» He may as well have added, «You idiots.» They did discount our bill $ 4 for the onions on my uneaten salad — not sure where that amount came from. Seemed kind of arbitrary. Especially since they messed up my husband’s salad, too. We also overheard the table next to us complaining about their meal. This doesn’t leave us with any optimism that it would be any different if we gave them a second chance. We will not be giving them that chance. Anyway, I literally laid awake that night obsessing about how I should have refused to pay for the worst meal I’ve was ever served and didn’t even eat.

Delicious burgers, great staff, and a nice place to relax after a long hike through Garden of the Gods! I really appreciated how kind and attentive our server was without being overbearing. Manitou Springs in general seems to be full of kind people and is a beautiful small town. From the name of the place, I would have expected a bigger selection of craft beers, but my husband still enjoyed the beer he chose.

Food was subpar. I had the fish and chips and my wife had pizza. The fish was thin and all batter. Pizza was forgettable.

After a bit of shopping in Manitou today, we decided to check out the new restaurant that moved into Adam’s Mountain Café’s old location. Always liked that section of Manitou and the beautiful building. And, when we noticed that Creekside Cuisine actually had outdoor creekside seating, we were in! We had a lovely table next to the water. You can’t see the water, as the city has built huge walls of old rock, which are very pretty, to deter flooding, but you can hear the wonderful water rushing by. And, late afternoon, just before dusk it was just beautiful outside; not too cold, just a little wind, with a clear, deep blue sky. Awe… Colorado! OK, here’s the skinny. I really think at the moment I would classify the food as just average; not great and not bad. I had fish & chips, hubs had bangers and mash. Both were tasty but could be improved upon, especially the fish & chips. Chips were very good, but in a very unusual shape, so made me wonder if they were a frozen product. Tarter sauce was watery and weak; lots to improve upon there. And, the fish… well, let’s just say I’ve been to Britain so many times and this just ain’t your true fish and chips. The fish is flat, almost like a pancake, making me again wonder… frozen? But, hubs bangers and mash was very good. Drinks were ok, but things that made me give them the 4 stars today is the service, attention and atmosphere. Our waitress was kind enough to get all our questions answered and the owner came out to visit for 5 to 10 minutes to discuss wines on the menu that are not quite available yet(?), but it was nice to chat with her a few minutes, learn about purchase and reno of the restaurant, and find out more about the wines that were not available. Weird, I thought, to even have them on the menu, but… what can ya do? So, anyway, points for the upgrades to the restaurant, such as the wonderful outdoor seating by the creek with sail cloth stretched across most of the patio blocking the sun from inside the restaurant and nice tables with umbrellas for the rest of the area. So, for me, it’s mostly atmosphere that would bring me back and the menu… there are lots of choices, so maybe I will prefer something else at this location. However, I do get leery with large menus, as it’s always true you can do a few things fabulous and a lot of things just so so. So, in the end, we will be back and try this place again and glad to see such loving care and restoration of an old haunt.

While the setting was beautiful and our server was very sweet, the food was just ok. They are NOT very accommodating. They don’t have a kids menu and when we asked if we could get a simple salami and cheese sandwich for our 11 year old we were told no. Seriously, this is the ONLY time I’ve ever experienced a restaurant that wouldn’t make something you requested! The chef seemed very annoyed that we would even ask. This is probably a cool place for adults only, but don’t come here with kids!

Husband and I visited Saturday late afternoon and sat on the patio. The crowd was light since it was mostly after lunch time. Julie was our server — very pleasant and helpful with selection. Adam’s used to be here… now it is more of a pizza /burger place. The burgers are rather expensive $ 13 to $ 15 — I think there were maybe 7 different ones to choose from… sorta odd combos. If you switch anything, like cole slaw instead of fries, it is an upcharge… or change fries for the kettle chips — to just switch from how they have it on the menu — it’s an upcharge. However, the upcharge to get fries instead of the kettle chips was worth it since their fries are like little baked potatoes… delicious! Husband had the Verde burger. He enjoyed it. It is really large and he said«tons of bacon» which he very much liked. I had the BBQ Pork sandwich — tender and delicious. I would have liked a little more sauce, but didn’t want to pay $ 1.50 for tiny cup of it. Husband had a few beers that are locally brewed — he really enjoyed them. I had a twisted lemonade(peach schnapps) very good. Julie told us about their Happy Hour, which we might try since the drink prices sounded good and it goes to 7pm, so we would be able to get there after work. There was a sign out front indicating«dog friendly», which we were interested in for next time but it was for the wine place next door… too bad since there are tons of people with dogs walking around Manitou and they have a nice patio that could be dog friendly… even if just one side.

After listening to the manager screaming at the employees for 20 minutes, the Q’D Up burger arrived. Sounded promising — pork belly and beef topped with pulled pork and cheddar. That’s where it ends. it was the driest, most flavorless burgers I have EVER had. Seemed like a frozen patty of some kind. Sent it back, I DIDNOTPAYFORTHIS. Not even a visit from the screaming manager. I gave the poor server a $ 5 just for being there.

We sat outside on Sunday which was perfect. Good service and comfortable setting. Trout salad and the street tacos for the two of us were both good. No downside, one of the better Manitou settings.

A perfect night to enjoy beers and pizza. And of course Manitou Ave people watching! Service was excellent; server was sharp and attentive, and after our 5 Burroughs pizza the chef checked in on our meal. Love the personal touch. The restaurant was recommended by D’Vine Wine Tasting Room and I’m so glad we stopped in… to both really! Oh, and a reminder to tourists-skip Patsy’s for an after dinner ice cream and walk across the street to Chocolate Ice Cream for some delicious and reasonably priced selections! Don’t let the name fool you; chocolate is only one of their flavored.

Krystal was our server. She was AMAZING. We have 8 of us and we sat on the patio. OBVIOUSLY there is gonna be sunshine. Do not complain. This place rocks. The food was amazing, and even the cook came out and talked with us. We sat and talked with the GM for a good 20⁄30 minutes and she is so great! It’s in a great location, and right next to the running water and it’s so nice. Tina is the GM. I recommend chatting with her. GREAT conversation. So funny, so great! I had the lam burger sliders with the special sauce and my boyfriend had the boneless buffalo wings. FANTASTIC. My cousin had the cod tacos and loved them. My other cousin had the triple layer chicken club and was huge, but delicious. ENJoy!
