Great place to eat. The atmosphere is wonderful and so is the food. I pretty much go here weekly, it’s that good! Whether you want an entre or a brick oven pizza, you won’t be disappointed. The deserts are delicious as well, although I prefer a shot of espresso. If you want decaf, make sure to emphasize that… otherwise you’ll be up all night.

The service here is depressing… All of the waiters are grouchy and rude. I have lived in the neighborhood for many years and I have been here several times(because the food is good), but the service continues to be a huge disappointment. I will not giving them my $(which is always a lot) any longer.

Beware to anyone who has a child– the restaurant does not allow strollers and the manager was very rude. This restaurant was empty(not surprising– I hear the food is mediocre) on a weekday afternoon so I tried to go inside with my 6-week old baby. Naturally I had a stroller with me and the host and manager/owner basically barred my entry despite the restaurant being spacious and empty. I live a few blocks away so they missed the opportunity to have a frequent customer.

I have heard great reviews about this place for years. Tonight was the first time that I went to this restaurant and really enjoyed my meal. The entrée and dessert were delicious. The chocolate ravioli was something I never had before but there is a first time for everything. It was really good !

The food and service was excellent as always. However, when asked for a dash of mozzarella cheese on one entrée we were informed they had run out. What Italian restaurant in NYC runs out of mozzarella cheese?(There is a grocery across the street.)

This is a cozy Italian restaurant. Insalata Tropicale: Large slices of avocado, hearts of palm, and arugula. Topped with shredded carrots, lemon juice, and evoo dressing. A fresh and unique taste.($ 11.50) Italian Rice Ball: I thought that the name was peculiar, so I gave it a try. What I got was a crispy, fried rice ball filled with cheese and meat sauce. Absolutely delicious!($ 6.50) Linguine Nere Al Sapore Di Mare: Black linguine with shrimp, calamari, clams, and mussels covered with spicy tomato sauce. It was pretty good.($ 19.50) Chocolate Ravioli: This is the only place I’ve seen with this dessert dish. Crisp ravioli with a smooth chocolaty center laid on a bed of fresh berry chunks and sauce. Sprinkled with powered sugar. It was perfection.($ 8) I highly recommend the Italian Rice Ball and Chocolate Ravioli.

Very busy place with many customers. I thought that the service was a little rushed, but overall had a good experience.

By far, the best Italian food on the UES. The service was impeccable and the quality of the food matched it. Our party of six started with several appetizers: Fritto di Calamari e Gamberi, Bruschetta Dello Chef and a spicy tomato app that I don’t see on the menu. All were excellent. For dinner, i chose the spaghetti vongole bianchi, which is one of my hallmarks for Italian cookery. It exceeded my expectations. The clams were sweet, the sauxce had jsut the right blend of herbs and wine and the pasta was cooked al dente. Sadly, the portion sizes of the entrees left no room for dessert.

Came here for lunch and had a lovely pasta dish with mushroom and sausage in a vodka sauce, it was great. My dining partner had pear ravioli which was also excellent. Had to ask for cheese with the oil and bread but overall a great meal and the prices were fair as well

Favorite place, best pasta, killer sangria, the best customer service and wonderful atmosphere. No better place on upper east side.

Great neighborhood spot with friendly and accommodating staff. We come often and have never been disappointed. Make sure to get a pitcher of red sangria!

The place is clean, the ambience is nice and the staff is friendly. The tables on the sidewalk are a plus if the weather is good. Food tasted more like a dinner than a real Italian restaurant. Marguerita pizza had an ok crust but the mozzarella was greasy supermarket grade. The pastas(specials) were same thing one can make at home with dry pasta and tomatoes. We found a strand of hair in the salad.

Went to Tiramasu for a casual Friday night dinner. The food was really good(not over the top special but a solid italian-American style) and the service was pretty good too. I definitely will frequent this place for casual nights out. The eggplant goat cheese rollatini was excellent and the pizza on the special menu(white pizza with fresh fig and prosciutto) was even better. If you’re in the area, definitely check it out.

Staff were friendly and helpful and let me sit at the bar without any pressure whilst waiting for someone. Salad was tasty and pizza was good. Can get hot by the pizza oven but it’s a fab thing to have.

We were walking around at dinnertime looking for a place with outdoor seating and reasonably priced food and we came upon Tiramisu. The staff was very welcoming when we arrived. We were given the option of outside or inside seating. We choose outside even though it was a little drizzly, we wanted to be in the fresh air. Also the restaurant was open aired, so it was probably similar temperature inside or out. We were given a delicious bread basket and oil and vinegar on the table and we got a bottle of Pinot Grigio to start. The wine was fine(I rhymed) and then we ordered our mains. One had the pear ravioli, it was in a white sauce and she loved it. I had spaghetti with clams in a red sauce, it was delicious. Hubby had something with pasta, sausage and vegetables and he was quite happy. One thing I noticed about the entrees, they were the correct proportions. It wasn’t like you had a trowel of spaghetti and then one or two clams. It was the right proportion of fish, pasta, sauce. And it was so flavorful. Great job Tiramisu. Delicious food, reasonably priced and excellent service from staff.

I think this is by far the best restaurant in the upper east side. It offers excellent service and quality ingredients. It’s great atmosphere is ideal for any occasion. Servers are very professional and hospitable and Romeo the manager will make sure you have an outstanding experience. I recommend the sangria, their pizzas and focaccia and the salmon. A hidden gem!

Not amazing, won’t blow your socks off, but solid pasta/pizza for the neighborhood, reasonable wine list, and they deliver! Ambience is okay, recently we’ve been ordering in a lot. Their pizza is pretty good, as well as their vegetarian pastas. Consistent quality.

Came here only for Tiramisu! After discovering it on Unilocal!I didn’t regret that I gave a try to this place! It was very packed, almost nowhere to stand! We seated at the bar had Tiramisu & banana crème brûlée! Which were yummy and different! Next time we will try food! May be brick oven crusted pizza or pasta with some chef sauces!
