Small but lovely space on a quaint block on Sheridan Square(okay, if being above the Kettle of Fishes and a hop away from the Stonewall can be classified as ‘quaint’). Have only had one teacher here, the sweet, patient Brina, but can vouch that my back never felt better after a yoga class. This is my first Iyengar class, but as I understand the training is long and painstaking, I can imagine the other teachers here can help too. Well worth a class to see if it works for you.

I feel blessed to have found this quaint, cozy studio in the heart of Greenwich Village. The classes are small too so there is lots of individualized attention. Tori Milner’s Monday night level ½ was wonderful. I was able to work in positions that I didn’t think I could. My back felt much better after class than before. I have to practice exclusively Iyengar styles of yoga because of my back condition, so it’s great to find a good match. I look forward to trying different classes and seeing how it goes. The prices are a bit steep, but worth every penny for good quality instruction.

This is a great studio; having practiced vinyasa for a while I was a bit cautious about practicing Iyenger — but I enjoyed it a great deal. Going to Spine is a wonderful experience. The morning classes are a good way to start the day. Instruction is smart, wholesome, meticulous, friendly and engaging.
