This place is the best. The staff is super nice and the products for sandwiches and salads are always well kept and tasty. Highly recommend.

Another sketchy long time place that seems to only adjust to the new tenants moving in(the drunk ones.) This place is only good when you’re drunk, but that’s not the problem. Their problem is that they adjust prices without consent. They’d make a sandwich and make up a price randomly. I ordered a Philly Cheese Steak, it’s supposed to come with a hero, but they didn’t have any, I still chose to have it on a roll. It’s funny because when I ordered a sandwich a few days before, it was $ 1 more because it was on a hero, but when I got this philly cheese steak, it was the same price as a hero, so I lost out on a dollar and the guy making it was so persistent to taking it back because they had orders for the same thing from their bullshit seemless site ordering system. Keep in mind I’ve been going here since I was a kid, so I know these people for a while, but they don’t seem to cater well to people they’ve known for a while. I bought a tea and had a sore throat, they usually have honey available for free near the coffee section, but I didn’t see it there that day. I asked for the honey, and the woman tries to sell me a honey packet that specifically says not for resale for $ 0.25. It’s not the price that urks me at all, it’s the fact that they are selling usually free things or things not for resale. So I’m like«my throat really hurts, I don’t have change to break,» and she denies me, after all the shitty sandwiches I’ve purchased throughout the years. I’ll never go here again. Also, the guys who make the sandwiches usually have shitty attitudes, it’s like they think they’re a high class deli, but all of their food is trash, like them. You can get cheaper food and more varied food on 3rd street and 2nd ave, by the way.

Their food is pretty run-of-the-mill, but sometimes the A.M. counter guy writes me encouraging notes on top of my bagel. It’s nice to get a little bit of validation before you pig out on your breakfast sandwich. As a side note: Why don’t people write more Unilocal reviews about delis and bodegas? Are you jerks too busy dining at Le Bernadin every night or something, or do you just have a sense of shame/standards?

I live across the street from this place, and I love it. Yeah — it is a bit pricey, but so are all delis in NYC. They are clean, professional, and have a great variety of products. They also have very good sandwiches — the Turkey BLT and Chef’s Party are my favorites. Plus Mr. Kim, who works nights, is the sweetest guy in the world. The breakfast special is also a good deal as is the cut watermelon.

I love the new awning — looks like a brand new store.
