Giving even 1 star is a lot. Got a color gel french mani, halfway through she called someone to teach her to do it, apparently. I kept saying it was bumpy, they kept saying it would straighten when deying. It didn’t of course, & they charged me full price. They told to come back tomorrow and they’d fix it. NEVER coming back!

You would think a nail salon that does an $ 8.50 manicure would smell like cancer, but it’s actually a pretty pleasant spot, and hardly ever crowded. The girls who work there are great! Super sweet, and they do a good job. HOWEVER: The guy who works there is a total pervert – both I and two friends came to this conclusion separately, after he trailed his hand down my back after the free massage at the end, and tried to look up my friend’s skirt during the pedicure. And I think he’s somehow the boss, and won’t let anyone else do your nails if he’s free, unless you specifically request one of the girls. So if you see him walking towards you to do your manicure or pedicure, just glom on to one of the females nearby and demand that she do your nails.

Went in today for a bikini wax, I was very specific I had had laser removal and wanted a regular bikini wax to clean things up. She asked Brazilian or partial, I said no regular, conservative. I felt confident that we were clear and proceeded. It took longer than I thought so I assumed she was being meticulous. Not the case, unfortunately she disregarded my request and removed a lot more than I expected. She also did a completely uneven, patchy and crooked job. I am so unhappy and do not plan to ever return.

This is a pretty decent place for a quickie mani-pedi. It’s clean enough, it’s one of the cheapest I’ve seen in the neighborhood, and the staff was friendly. I’d love to see more polish choices & for the place to be fixed up a bit, but I guess that’s why it’s priced so low now!

FYI it has gone up to $ 25.50 including tax. Under new management but it’s still very good and still my go-to!

I love it here! My manicure usually lasts 1 week or more, the prices are reasonable, and the staff is absolutely adorable(and respectful). I live right around the corner and only recently started coming here because I’m pregnant and have trouble trekking to the place I used to go to… needless to say I don’t think I’ll ever be back at my former nail salon. Royal Day Salon has won my heart :-)

Great deal for mani pedi only $ 20. They do great job, they are friendly the only downside would be that they have credit card minimum of $ 20 and also you can’t put tip on the card, which I understand but when you’re in a rush and don’t have any cash on you, you really have no option but go somewhere else. Also, I don’t know how do they do it but, nails dry within few minutes, you don’t need to ask to any additional quick-dry! Too bad my favorite Maria doesn’t work there anymore :( I would recommend this place to my friends!

I am a huge nail buff(no pun intended) and I love to get manipedis after a long week. After suffering through many subpar salon manis, I had to resort to working on(and botching) my own nails. After moving to the neighborhood and getting a friend’s recommendation for this place, I can now join the ranks of the freshly manicured women of New York. They have this amazing $ 20 manipedi special that includes paraffin wax! The women who work there are always meticulous and are gentle with the cuticles, and they usually have the newer lines from OPI. I’ve also had some pretty fun conversations with the women who speak Mandarin there. Remember to bring cash to tip your manicurist, it’s the polite thing to do.
