This location is smaller than the 24-hour Rite-Aid store at 24th&8th(and for 24-hour Rite-Aid prescriptions you’d need to go all the way to 50th&8th). Still, selection of critical items is decent. Unlike others nearby, this Rite-Aid carries bread. They never have a lot and they’re sometimes out. So as I disclose this info, I wonder(no pun & they have better) whether I’ll see bread here again. Weird incident in late 2013: most of this store’s staff were replaced overnight. Only a few pre-existing folks returned a few weeks later. They explained that former store management had been caught stealing. One guy(Southeast Asian I think?) who keeps the store shelves stocked & in order, floors clean, etc. has been here for about a decade. He works very hard, is extremely kind, polite, helpful and competent, and deserves a promotion.

Always clean and easy to get around with my huge stroller. They have helpful, friendly staff and they never seem to be to busy to help with anything you need. This is the best Rite-Aid in town.

Waited 15 minutes in line with only 2 people handling check-outs. One of them was some senior management male asshole who lectured his female colleague on professionalism the whole time. When my time comes, he checks me out, and when I ask for matches(I spent $ 80 on cleaning supplies), he tells me he won’t give me any since I didn’t get cigarettes. Um, pretty sure(1) that’s not a rule, or(2) not a strictly enforced one, and(3) do you really need to be stingy over a 1-cent package of matches?(I spent $ 80). I sarcastically said«Thanks,» and that dickhead looked at me and said«Welcome.» Talk about professionalism! I hit the red frowny face at check-out(asking you to evaluate customer service), and thought, «I’m gonna go home and write a bitchy 1-star review on Unilocal.» At least I got that.

Your standard Rite-Aid. Pharmacy, household products, snacks. There was only one cashier at the front when I was here but there also wasn’t anybody else in the store, so I guess they know when their busy hours are. Got in, got what I needed, got out.
