Nicola’s Pop Up Shop

My friend raved about her shoot with Stephanie Peterek’s latest line of outfits, so I thought I’d go and give the work a look!
Nicola Formichetti– Lady Gaga’s stylist– has assembled a truly formidable range of designers. A fearsome, six-​foot, crust-​patched bear stood guard over a shimmering explosion of mirror-​glass, studs and leather. Outfits that graced the pages of Rolling Stone hung in stark reality under sharp stage lights next to fresh works that hadn’t yet seen the glare of flashbulbs.
Nicola’s is more than a pop-​up shop. It’s a shimmering stage for the fantastical history and present of designers who make us «ooh», «aah» and think.
