My very first experience with MFS wasn’t awesome, shirts came back with damages buttons. Nevertheless, MFS surprised me by outstanding customer service. No, let me correct! OUTSTANDING! customer service. They not only fixed the problem by changing the buttons with a speed of light but showered me with all possible discounts to heal«my wounded soul»:). I start to feel like I am the bad guy, in plain words«ass», so I removed my first review I wrote being angry. After all they did, they simply don’t deserve bad treatment from my side. I am not trying to say you can false claim damage and get discounts. If you claim is legitimate– give MFS a call. As a cleaner they will go beyond your expectations to solve your situation. Aside from clothes. Their online website is not cluttered with information or commercials, easy to use and you can add details to any item. Delivery and pick up was on time as I recall it. I guess being under new management they took in consideration previous complains from Unilocalers about late delivery . Another good feature: iPad and iPhone application. Prices are stated clearly. There will be no surprises later. Soaps they used are not perfumed. I hate sweet smell soaps that other cleaners use sometimes. They did good job on my white linen jacket. It’s def looks whiter. If you read to this point, I would say give MFS a try. If we continue to use services based only on past reviews, some businesses, like MFS for example with mostly negative feedback in past, would never get a chance to show us they listened, improved and willing to work things out and ever earn a positive feedback thus earn a future as a Bussiness.

This place was such a disappointment. I wanted it to work out for me, because I’m busy and I don’t like dragging laundry around. The Charges: At $ 50 + $ 5 delivery for 1 full bag of wash and fold laundry, it’s about twice what I paid for other pickup/drop-off services, but I was willing to pay it. The Laundry: They did a decent job with the wash and fold itself, but nothing amazing. They never ruined anything of mine, which is good. The Problems: Over the course of using them for 3 months, there were delivery no-shows, late deliveries, and they even dropped my laundry off at someone else’s place and were unable to get it back until the next day! They’d promise a refund and then not send it. They’d say a delivery manager would call, but there’d be no call. This place is just not worth the headaches. If I’m going to pay a premium price, I want premium service!

They’re back and better than ever. I love their service — and just today had a dose of extra-good customer service. They picked up my laundry this morning right on time. Then around noon today they sent an email announcing a discount code. I shot off an email to ask if they would apply the discount retroactively to my already in process order. I heard back«no problem» less than five minutes later. Swoon. And did I mention that they do a great job of cleaning my clothes and I don’t have to schlep a bag of laundry anywhere? Love.

I really wanted to like My Fresh Shirt. I love web-enabled businesses that give their customers flexibility and control over the ordering process. I am even okay paying a premium for it(which MyFreshShirt surely does charge). I hoped that MFS could support their aggressive service claims. They cannot, at least not yet. I suspect they’ve grown too big too soon. Problems: 25% higher prices, at least, compared to neighborhood folks. Late pick ups, late deliveries. No follow through from customer service when inquiries are made(the ultimate sin). Their model is terrific. Once I have some assurance they can manage it at scale, I might come back to them. For now, I am sticking with the neighborhood guy who knows me by face and name.

Never on time. No apologies. No warnings. Not even a call to say that the driver is running more than an hour late beyond a two hour window. Irrevocable blistering of shirts with the starch and iron. Feedback goes into a black hole and no one in the company cares enough to even respond to customer concerns. I would give My Fresh Shirt a zero rating if Unilocal allowed it.

I resent dry cleaning. I feel like it is a conspiracy to keep me broke. And each summer my resentment grows as I sweat profusely in my rayons and silks and dry clean only fabrics. The little Korean lady down the block does a fine job, but it just makes me sad that they use such toxic chemicals to de-sweat my clothes. Enter They don’t use perc. They try to bundle deliveries and pickups. You can itemize your cleaning and you can point out stains online without the use of little orange stickers on your clothing. They alter. They wash and fold. They fix shoes. You just schedule the pickup online and they come to your apartment to pick up your clothes. I’ve found that even though the dry cleaning is promised back in two days, it is usually back the next day. They save your starch preferences and recycle your hangers if you return them. For a fee of $ 5 they give you a laundry bag or a dry cleaning bag that is reusable and durable and has your name on it.(Better than mom stitching your name in your underwear!) The prices are competitive with your local dry cleaner. Sure the software has a bug or too, but the customer service has been just fine and I like that de-sweating and cleaning my clothes doesn’t expose people(or me) to as many nasty chemicals. No one should get sick from my laundry.
