KFC

Received SUPERIOR service from this restaurant and one employee named, Mimosa, in particular. I called to see if they delivered and she said they didn’t but that she could put it in a cab for me! Not only did she go out of her way to serve me, she was extremely courteous and thorough. The order arrived hot and with everything I had asked for. She also let me know when the order was on it’s way.
NYC isn’t exactly known for it’s service… THANKS AGAIN, MIMOSA! You’re awesome!

Today, I went into the KFC on 106^th street and 3^rd ave and had not only the worst experience in any restaurant, but probably the worst experience I have ever had in my life, period.
I go up to the window and order my meal and afterwards I move to the side to wait for my food.
As I am waiting I over hear someone who is sitting in one of the booths scream over to someone else, who is also sitting in an adjacent booth, «excuse me miss, excuse me miss! there is a RAT underneath the seat in your booth.» the two people look down and in horror see a RAT underneath them. They jump out of the booth and immediately begin to panic. They run to the side as the rat runs out from underneath the booth and jumps up top on to the seats and table. Now everyone in the restaurant is also seeing what is going on and everyone else begins to panic as well. The rat jumps from the top of the booth to the other side near the counter where you order. It was so close to me I almost died right then and there. People are running around screaming as the rat is also running around inside the restaurant.
The employees are just looking at what is going on in a very non chellant way while customers are screaming for someone to come out and help in the situation. A woman comes out and tries to get the people calm. She tells us all to wait outside while she holds the door open. I am assuming she was hoping that the rat would see himself out, but he had already ran behind the garbage bin in the store.
I did not want to stay another minute in that place. I ran right out!!!
The rat was huge! In no way possible did that rat come from outside. That place is dirty and needs to be shut down. Never in my life have I experienced something like that. And I will never visit that location or a KFC ever ever ever again.

I came here yesterday and I knew what to expect coming into a fast food chain. I got the $ 5 fill up box with the 3pc chicken tenders and mashed potatoes. When I opened the box the chicken tenders I had were so skinny and barely warm. The mashed potatoes were good but it is only $ 5 so you get what you pay for.

If you want crispy chicken then you should opt for the extra crispy instead of the original recipe. They have later hours now so you can stop in for a little snack before heading home. This trip i ordered four chicken thighs. Wedges and a large coleslaw. It came to about $ 12.50 the slaw and wedges were good but my chicken’s skin was pretty flaccid and it also had a few spots which were very salty. All in all i will go again but i’ll order the extra crispy.

I am a Popeyes man but this location the times I go is good. I have figured out the best time to patronize KFC. Lunchtime. High noon. If you smell the Colonels 11 herbs and spices wafting from the restaurant, by all means go in. Had my annual fix.

We ordered for a group of 40 people and all along the staff was unbelievably helpful, especially Mimosa, the manager who went out of her way to accommodate our requests. At the very last minute we needed very large quantities of sides and they made it happen, were super pleasant about it, and even delivered when we were out of their delivery zone to make things easier for us (we pleaded and they really wanted to accommodate us). The district manager (I cannot remember his name but wish I could) came himself, helped me set up, was really attentive to details and extremely professional, friendly and positive about KFC. Super impressive — and unfairly, I was expecting no service from a chain restaurant. Totally wrong. They made the chicken fresh right before the time I had requested in my catering order and all the food was hot, fresh and delicious. Made everyone in the party remember how amazing KFC tastes!!! Wish I could give them more stars!

Speedy service, friendly staff, and a decent amount of clean eating areas. There is a bathroom for customers, but i haven’t tried it yet. The food is classic KFC; personally I love it, but you make your own decision.

I mean where else are you going to go when you’re cravin some KFC yo? Freakin delicious… good alternative to white castle and mcD’s… also the staff is super friendly, i got a free drink last time!

its december and they have reopened for business. enter at your own risk.
i’d suggest bringing an umbrella just in case another rat leaps from the ceiling because I can see from outside that the ceiling tile is still missing.

I wouldn’t bother to review this place because pretty much everyone knows what KFC tastes like, and if you don’t… dude, it’s like six bucks, just try it.
So basically I’m just here to vent about the ridiculous service at this particular location. WTF are you DOING back there? Why are you slowly walking back and forth? Are you on the phone? Who are you talking to? I can see piles of fried chicken sitting there. Just put some pieces in a box and give me the box! Then I will give you money and leave! This really need not be complicated or time consuming!
I can’t even say how many times I’ve walked in and said, «You know what? Forget this,» and walked back out. KFC is NOT worth standing in line for 25 minutes. The place looks fairly clean though.
