Bad for watch battery replacement, but okay for shoe shine. I went on two occasions: once for a shoe shine and another series of trips for a watch battery replacement. I brought in two watches for battery replacement and was unhappy with the results for both. They told me it would take 30 minutes, so I returned in 45 minutes. I stood there waiting another 15 minutes as he said it would be done soon. The pin that you pull out to adjust the time for one watch would not move after the battery was replaced. He told me that it was a mechanical issue with the watch and that he only replaced the battery. I disputed that it had worked fine when I brought it in. The second watch was pretty scratched up on the backside from the battery change. A timer feature on it was crooked. I asked him if anything had moved while he was replacing the battery, and he said this was also a mechanical issue, not his fault. Both of my watches couldn’t have coincidentally broken while he changed the batteries. I urged him to fix them both and he repeated that they were not my fault. A man stepped in to interpret because the two men who work there only speak Spanish. After 5 minutes of disagreement, he said that he would look at it some more. I returned the end of the day and the first watch was fixed. The pin moved freely again, so I could adjust the time and date. The second watch’s timer was still crooked. Never coming back to replace my watch batteries here. They were $ 6 each and required 3 trips to their store and 30 minutes in their store. I got my shoe shined here and it was fine for $ 3.
