Town Social Events

As a longtime resident of Manhattan Beach, a town that is known for beautiful and unique parties and events, it is almost inevitable that you will see repeats in décor and themes… but not with Jessica. She is imaginative, original, and produces events that wow her clients and guests. Jessica is a risk-​taker with a unique skill of giving her clients exactly what they want, while challenging them to move out of their comfort zone. Additionally, Jessica and her team are an absolute delight to work with, detail oriented, organized and above all professional.

Town Social Events is a company that I highly recommend using for your next party. A perfectionist myself, but deciding that I needed to enjoy the season instead of just work work working, I hired Jessica and MJ to coordinate our annual holiday firework festivities. I had a few change in plans and Jess and MJ were so amazing to work with. I will first start with their attention to detail– impeccable. They listened to everything I wanted and went with it. They used a lady (I hope I don’t get this wrong) Madam X for catering, SHE WAS WOW! A health nut myself and one who wants to serve people good food, her food was spot on. She made bbq chicken right from my grill, an amazing kale salad, veggies, quiche and a beautifully arranged veggie tray. I received many many compliments the day of and next days following on how delish the food was. Apparently the cookies were the best anyone ever tasted and I didn’t get any being the host and barely having time to say hi to everyone and anyone (you know how it goes when you are throwing the party). Anyway, Madam X delivered me some a few days later. My guests were right– Delightful. Jess and MJ also hired a fantastic «Santa» for the kids. Our house is always overflowing with kids. LOVE THAT and them. Anyway, every kid at the party couldn’t believe how cool it was that the real Santa was at our party. (I wish I had a photo, he should be the real Santa) Jess and MJ also knew how important it was to have the kids entertained so the parents could enjoy themselves too. They arranged some adorable college gals to come assist with crafts for the kids. Again, I wish I had pictures. They did these snowman globes in Kerr jars, ornaments and each kid received their own adorable hot chocolate mug (of course we had hot chocolate and homemade marshmallows to accompany the mugs) to take home as a parting gift. The party was a huge hit and I will use Jess and MJ over and over and over again for any and all parties I have. They are absolutely the sweetest, most efficient, creative people I have ever worked with. Thank you JESS and MJ!

I work with Olive Crest, an organization that provides support services for abused and neglected children and Town Social Events were instrumental in planning our annual fundraising gala and making it a huge success! Every detail was taken care of and the gala was absolutely beautiful! Town Social was a pleasure to work with and they were committed to providing our guests with a night to remember. We have found our event planners and look forward to working with Town Social in 2015! Highly recommend their services… you will not be disappointed!

Town Social Events produced our annual fundraising gala. MJ and Jess put together a simple, but elegant night. The details were perfectly done. As a fundraiser, my budget is imperative to adhere. MJ and Jess created, within my budget, an amazing night for 250 guest. Professional and genuine care is the service Town Social provides. Thank You for creating an amazing gala!

Jess & MJ put together a 40^th birthday party I will never forgot… It was AWESOME! They came up with an ‘80s «glam rock» theme, and as my neighbors and the Manhattan Beach Police Department can attest, it was a GREAT PARTY! Everything down to the last detail was perfect — we’ll work with the Town Social team again and again!

Having thrown a lot of parties and being a chef/​caterer myself I wondered how I might partner with them. Let’s just say I won’t host another party without using their services. If you are wondering if you need or want a party planner — what do they do and how much will it cost — just call them! They make it a completely fun and seamless process for you — from handling vendors, to amazing creative touches. No more pre party stress about equipment, rentals etc. They cross every «i» and dot every «t». Priceless when it comes to being able to relax and enjoy yourself and know your guests are having an amazing time as well. Can’t wait to plan the next party with them!

Working with Jessica and Mary Jo from Town Social was a wonderful experience and a smart investment for my friend’s going away party. They made it a smooth process from start to finish — hiccups with vendors were quickly smoothed out and handled in the most professional manner. They really care about making you comfortable and putting your wants and needs first. This was especially important to me as I was saying goodbye to my very dear friend and wanted this day to be special for her.
On the day of, they were essential to executing an amazing day. This allowed for me and my friend to enjoy her day and her guests. Honestly, they are the best planners that I have worked with — I cannot say enough positive remarks about their work ethic and the end results they produced. Their attention to detail was impressive — and their foresight helped avoid many issues, and we were just amazed at what they were able to help with to make my friend’s day unforgettable.
