L.A Tasting

Book Club just got even better when our hostess hired Elizabeth to do a wine tasting/​food paring. Elizabeth is a delight! Her story is remarkable and she has truly followed her dreams.
Elizabeth is obviously the expert here, but she really valued our novice opinions, asking us what we are getting from the pairing, and taking notes based on our tastes. She has tasted and worked with the best of the best but I found her approachable. (I wasn’t even afraid to ask if she has tried any of the boxed wines! She had a favorite– CLIF– but was willing to try another I mentioned).
Not only does Elizabeth know her wines, she carefully chooses her food parings and actually cooks everything herself using fresh, organic and healthy ingredients. She explains not only why each plate is served with the wine, but what we should be getting from the pairing.
Sad to see her leave the party, she left saying she is open to emails asking about wines, pairings, tasting excursions, etc. At your next wine tasting party, hire Elizabeth of LA Tasting!

Elizabeth is incredibly knowledgable about wines, wine regions, and the different types of grapes and the soils/​climates that make the best tasting wines. She also has the wonderful gift of being able to communicate this information and answer questions in a friendly and approachable way.
Her knowledge, easy going personality, and sense of humor made our excursion to wineries in Healdsburg and Sonoma an amazing and memorable experience. I am really looking forward to exploring the different wines she reccomends in an upcoming visit to LA. I will be hosting a wine– tasting party for friends, and Elizabeth will be the key ingredient for a fun and informative evening that will add to my growing wine cellar.
