So embarrassed on how my wife and I were profiled today when exchanging purchasers items without a receipt. We didn’t come into the store with a garbage bag full of clothing. We didn’t come in with worn items that were dirty. We had 4 items only. All purchased by a family member. Nothing fraudulent. But to have the items checked in the system to see what store they came from. Or to see if they were stolen is embarrassing. Then to have the discussion in front of other customers was even more embarrassing. I personally will never step into this store again not will my wife. I’ll leave out how we were followed in the store or how we were repeatedly told how a pair of shoes TWO sizes too big for our son couldn’t be exchanged for a smaller size. My wife already spoke up about that. This couldn’t have been the first time that a return/​exchange was done without a receipt. I refuse to believe that. Especially since the return/​exchange policy is visibly available on the checkout desk. Guess what is referenced? RETURNS WITHOUT RECEIPTS. Go figure. There’s a policy allowing it, but if you do it be prepared to have a hell of a time doing it.

I usually have a great experience when I shop at J&J but today not so much. I went in to exchange a few items without a receipt and was treated like a thief. Not sure if I was profiled once I walked in or if this is normal procedure. Both my husband and I were followed in the store and we even overheard one of the two associates claim that they couldnt confirm what store the items were purchased from and believe they called another store asking if they had recent theft Seriously? Is that normal practice? Very disappointed. Very embarrassed.

Unique good quality Children’s clothing store.
I was a regular customer for the first five years of my granddaughter’s life. And now is the place I frequent for «the» special baby gift.
I appreciate the elegance and quality of clothing, shoes and accessories they keep in stock. I know that I can count on finding just the perfect gift every time I come now-​a-​days just as I was able to find just the perfect complete outfit for my granddaughter a few years back.

Love this store! It’s always clean and organized they usually have all sizes in stock… Staff is great when it comes to helping out and answering questions!

Couldn’t love this store anymore than I already do the store manager, Patty, is amazing and definitely took time to help out. Always clean, and I never feel as if I’m just a hated customer. The clothes is fantastic. This is my favorite Janie & Jack location and I never intend to go to another one! I can’t believe I just discovered this location! I will only go in when Patty is there!!! Love love love!

I like this store’s cute clothes. I typically will buy something on clearance when I am getting a gift. The regular prices are crazy expensive, like alot of children’s specialty clothing stores. A nice option for something «different».
