The Wine Loft Mandeville

The Wine Loft is kind of a «hit or miss» type place to me. I have been several times, and each time it is a different type of crowd… sometimes quiet and relaxing, and others they are stacked 2 – 3 deep at the bar. It can be hard to get the attention of a bartender at times.
The wine list is good, and I have been pleased with the suggestions of the staff when I asked advice.
I usually make it here for a glass each time I’m in town.

A great place to hang out with friends, grab a quick bite and sip a few glasses of wine. Their wine selection is pretty good and the manager and bartenders are extremely welcoming and friendly.
They also several nights a week with «specials» going on.
Tue is half off bottles of wine, Wed is wine tasting and I hear on Sat nights this place really gets going. Can’t wait to find out.

One of my very favorite places to hang out on the Northshore. Their food menu is pretty good and they’ve got a great wine list as well as a full bar. It can get very loud later in the evening, but if you go early, it is a very nice and cozy place to sip a great glass of wine, chat with your friends and share a cheese plate served on a tile!

Located in the Chenier development, The Wine Loft is a nice bar when it isn’t crowded.
As you walk into this dark bar, you will notice that there are several couches/​chairs around the edges of the room. These areas are divided by small curtains which give you the feeling of your own space. These areas are great for a romantic night out or just hanging out with some friends.
There is a huge selection of wines by the glass, but their beer selection needs work. I realize this is a wine bar, but I am a beer aficionado. They did have Stella Artois so I was OK. On my most recent trip the bartender was very friendly and helpful.
The few times I have been the bar has not been crowded, but be warned, it does get packed on some nights.
If your looking for a laid back wine bar, this is a good place to start out the night.

One of my favorite places to get a good glass of wine. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, laid back but professional atmosphere, and a very reliable selection of wines by the glass.
