It’s not everyday that you get to Unilocal about the family-​run shoe store that you grew up with as a tike — and to be the first, well, let’s just say the cigars are standing by.
So this isn’t the original — my memories are of a corner shop in downtown Covington, but alas, this place is still head and shoulders above any of the corporate chain crap that has moved into M-​ville in recent years.
They carry everything from running to casual and dress shoes — even boots, flip-​flops and crocs. Super-​friendly service, ample parking, and reasonable prices. What more do you want?
