My stylist was Ashley and she was awesome!!! She was super sweet and she clearly knew what she was doing. I picked her brain about a few things and she had a great answer for everything! And of course my hair looks amazing!!! I got an incredible perm that only cost $ 85! I called around to probably five other salons and they were all minimum $ 150. I’ve never done anything like this to my hair and she made me feel super comfortable and was very reassuring. She also gave me some great recommendations on a moisture lock product and curling gel product. I don’t leave my house without using them! (wish I could remember the names of the products right now) Anyway, Hair Cosmopolitan is great and I would absolutely recommend going there. Excellent service at an excellent price. Thank you Ashley!

Ever have that moment where you are on Unilocal searching for the perfect hairdresser and you think you’ve got it and end up going there, and the results make you want to bail your eyes out? Yeah, that has been me plenty of times…
But then came a girl named Ashley. Hands down one of the best hairdresser’s I have ever had touch my hair. I HIGHLY recommend seeing her if you want the results to come out FABULOUS. You will get compliments everywhere you go!
Let’s continue shall we. She is very sweet and kind, she listens to every word on what you want done, she gives you recommendations on the style and color (if you are going in and have no clue what to do with your hair!) She can always carry on with a conversation with you unlike those who just are quiet and don’t say a word to you and then it becomes awkward. But if that is what you like, then I don’t recommend seeing her.
On to the end results of that moment when she spins you around and you look in the mirror and your jaw drops. yeah, that’s the feeling I get. The results are beyond my expectations. You will not be disappointed when you got to see Ashley and she becomes your go-​to hairdresser.
Next we have the set-​up of the place. It’s very relaxing, makes you feel comfortable when you walk in. The lighting in the place is just right. not too bright and not too dark. The store has everything you need. From make-​up to hair products to nail polish to accessories, you name it, they just might have it.
Oh I failed to mention, the prices are very reasonable and I’m talking about the whole sha-​bang of getting that mess on top of your head done.
Everyone that works there is very friendly. You are their main attention when you walk in. You need help, they have answers. After all, they are the ones that want to help make your hair feel beautiful and healthy!

I’ve been buying my hair care products here since I moved to Manchester seven years ago. My reason was always that it was never busy and the women who work there pretty much ignore customers, which I happen to prefer. Anyway, I made a mistake and purchased a conditioner at HC when I really meant to buy the shampoo of the same product. I brought it back to exchange but was told no, it had been on sale and there are no returns/​exchanges on sale products, even though I only wanted the shampoo. Needless to say, I left the store and bought my product elsewhere. Dear Hair Cosmopolitan, is such rigid adherence to policy really worth all my future purchases? Really?
