I called Umbrella Mechanical Services for AC maintenance service before summer heat comes per Sear Home Warranty advice.
Anwar came to help us on that day, he was very thorough to check the system and while checking he explained some things that as home owner used to make mistake when running the system. Thanks Anwar

I called the company for AC maintenance service before summer heat comes. I just wanted to have a peace of mine .
When Anwar showed up he was very thorough to check the two systems I have.
For the upstairs unit which we’d like to get bigger capacity he pointed out we can still be OK with current system if we maintain good condition.
I had 2 different companies last 4 – 5 years who came for maintenance check mentioned we need to have bigger size units and they ‘d give me good discount if we change the system.
I was impressed with his honest and knowledge and detail explanation (and how to maintain well mine own).
After he added Freon he went back to upstairs check the pressure and temperature to make sure all is right. When most of other services I had neglected cross check.
He was awesome. never mined all my questions and he explained them all.
I highly recommend him to get your problem to be solved. And if I have future problem (hope not) I’d call him to get a service. Thanks Anwar

I called first thing in the morning, and received service that afternoon. Anwar was very honest, very friendly, very knowledgeable, and had no issues with me hovering over him, asking questions. I would highly recommend them over anyone else.

Umbrella, especially Anwar, were awesome. Our AC broke two weeks ago on a Friday, the earliest a company (through Home Warranty) could fix it was Monday, so that company came on the Monday, replaced the capacitor and cleaned the motor and drained the condensation line. That night, the AC died again. We left for vacation with no AC. Fast forward to 10 days later (give or take), we call the Home Warranty again, and tell them we need someone out the day we get back to look at the AC unit, as we have an infant at home. They assign us to Umbrella. Making the appointment was easy and Anwar showed up 20 minutes early the next day. He diagnosed the problem as a broken motor, he checked his truck and didn’t have the replacement and then proceeded to make countless phone calls to track down our motor, which was apparently tough to find, until he found a place that had it. The motor wouldn’t come in until Friday (this was Wednesday), so we stayed in touch the next two days and he waited at the supplier for them to get their truck in, including our motor and kept us in the loop all friday morning.
He just left about 20 minutes ago after an install, gave me some tips on how to manage the AC better, and was a true pro to deal with.
They will be getting our business for checkups and I hope the home warranty company can refer us to them always.

I just had this company out to my house this morning. It was the company referred by my home warranty. You never know what type of company they are going to send you with a home warranty so I was a little nervous. He showed up right on time at the beginning of the time window scheduled which I was VERY happy about… that never happens! :) I am also very pleased with the professionalism of the technician Said. He really knows his stuff about air conditioning and he took his time to check and test everything. He then went into detail with me about how to keep my system running more efficiently. He took the time to answer my questions on how to remove one of the covers and clean the system and made sure I practiced putting the cover back on correctly. He left about 20 minutes ago and already its feeling cooler in my house! Yay!

I have utilized many home airconditioning repair service companies over the years, large and small. Umbrella Mechanical is the best I have ever experienced. Technician Said was a real pro and honest adviser on what repairs were needed and those unnecessary. The Scheduler was extremely helpful and most accommodating to fit my availability and quick repairs.
I was selling my house and one of the AC units failed the day before inspection! Said worked extra hours to find a part in a warehouse rather than order it, then retrieved and installed it same day. Outstanding performance!

I don’t normally write reviews but I was so very impressed with the co-​owner, Said, that I felt compelled to take a moment of my time to tell you about the professionalism of this company. We just had our central air conditioning unit serviced by this company today. Said took the time required to test and check our system to identify the current problems and effectively correct them. I was so very pleased with the detail and the test equipment he used during the service call. He was knowledgeable of the temperature variances between incoming and outgoing air, checked flow rates of condensation drain, and cleared the debris from around the outside unit among other things. As a senior I know about central air maintenance because I’ve been contracting for services for over 40 years. In today’s competitive markets many companies are in it for the profit margin at the expense of doing the job right. Umbrella Mechanical Services in in the business to do the job right,; period! Put this company on your call list for heating and air conditioning services. You will be pleased with the results.

These guys were awesome. Heater went out, called my warranty company, and they showed up. I always expect to get scammed or oversold by HVAC companies (sorry) so I was very, very happy when they spent three hours finding out the problem and charging me only $ 100! This of course was our deductible, but still, the guy said he’s never seen this particular problem, and most other techs would have probably recommended a new unit. I was so happy with them I asked them to open a Unilocal account so I could give them props. Thank you!
