I typically order the whole chicken meal for my family of four. The whole chicken meal offers 2 sides, which they give you plenty(not like guapos servings). The best thing is that it’s under $ 20 bucks! We have also tried there Lomo saltado and again it’s delicious has the right amount of everything. I definitely recommend this place if you are in search of the yummiest Peruvian style chicken in Manassas.

No stars the food was awful. Chicken was dry and had a weird smell. The ladies blamed the condiment but it was just terrible. DONOTEATHERE!!! The chicken was pink on the inside. The fresh drinks were watered down. Just all bad! SONASTYITWASALLBAD! Customer service was awful. The sauce for the chicken tasted like straight up mayo. Please save your money and eat somewhere else.

Horrible costumer service! Just called and asked if they do delivery, the lady who«helped» had something on her mouth while she was talking to me(unable to even understand what she was saying)(bad manners). She explained to me that it depends on what I ordered she was willing to do delivery. Told her that I wanted a whole chicken with 2 sides. She asked me where I live(literally 5−7min away) after she thinking 2x she said no! it’s not enough orders in order for her to deliver… I said«thank you» and she just hung up the phone… Horrible costumer service! Chicken not that great’

I absolutely loved this place, their chicken is great and the staff was very polite. The chicken is superb and the yuka/yellow sauce was delicious.

Finally I have found a place that takes me seriously when I ask for extra sauce. At most places — «extra sauce» results in two or three little containers that hold at best a tablespoon of sauce. But here, «extra sauce» can lead to a pint sized container filled to the brim(once you’ve convinced the lady behind the counter that you really mean it). While I have not tried their chicken; the yucca and plantain are not a disappointment. In fact, at Daniela’s, the plantains are a must get. They fry sweet plantains until the outside is charred, resulting in a chewy exterior and an inside that melts in your mouth. Added sugar and salt caramelizes the outside keeping the mouth sized tidbits moist. It is easy to pop these little beauties one by one until they are gone. The yucca is standard fare. It is clean and free of stringy bits that inattentive hands leave behind. Crisp flesh and tender meat — the starchy sticks meld perfectly with the dipping sauce that I do so adore. I will be back, if only for the plantains.

Second time having it and its so good and cheap. I called last minute to see if they were still taking orders around 9:50 and they took me right away only downside is that for a whole chicken you get rice that’s only enough for like 2 people but mostly every place does that. Looove the sauce!!!

I got take-out last week when my wife was working in the evening and I was left to fend for myself. I got the chicken arroz chaufa and fried yucca. The chicken used in the arroz chaufa is their rotisserie chicken. It is very flavorful but a little dry. Maybe because it was reheated when mixed with the rice. They also add some kielbasa type sausage in with the chicken and rice. It is all topped with cilantro. I would have enjoyed some additional vegetables mixed in. The rice, meat, and cilantro are not quite enough to consider it a meal. The portion was very large though. The yucca was very good. Nice and crispy outside and soft and moist inside. As usual, the yucca came with the aji verde and aji amarrilo sauces and they are very good too. I enjoyed my take out enough to take my wife back for dinner over the weekend. This time we decided to eat in the restaurant while we waited for a prescription to be filled at Walgreens next door. The server was nice but not quite as friendly and attentive as I would like. I wanted to try some other dishes to get a feel for the restaurant so I ordered the tallarin with chicken, my wife ordered a sopa de res and we split a cheese pupusa. We both really enjoyed our dinners. Her soup had a ton of beef in it and the rice and tortillas made it too big for her to finish in one meal. The tallarin dish was very tasty and had plenty of meat and vegetables mixed in. The pupusa was good but the curtido was excellent. Very good flavor marinated through the cabbage. One other annoying thing about eating in the restaurant is that it seemed like the vent hood for the cooking surface was not working. The smell of the cooking food and the smoke was heavy in the air so our hair, clothes, and skin had the scent of the restaurant the rest of the night. Therefore, we will definitely return for takeout but the server and the lack of ventilation will prevent us from dining in.

I stopped by shortly after they opened and really didn’t send anything special here. Now, however, my opinion has changed entirely. I bought Tacos Dorados to go, today, and it is the best thing I have eaten in quite awhile. Granted, I am basing this review on a singular dish, but if the rest of the menu is on par with the tacos, then I believe you have a wonderfully well-kept secret here in Manassas.

Food is good but it looks pretty empty. There is not a variety. They don’t have an actual server who ever serves you is also the cashier. The drinks are pretty expensive so you are better off buying a 2 litter coke which is cheaper.

Se habla englese aqui. Daniela is the daughter of the owners. She is a worker, even at a youthful age. The food here is OK. It’s the Peruvian style, Soltado’s are popular, steak strips marinated in vinegar. I had the Sopa de Pollo, it was excellent, too much for one setting so I got it to go. Not fancy but good food and the owners are bilingual so if you don’t speak spanish, you’ll be just fine.

Real good, simple fare. Nothing fancy, just delicious. I had the taquitos dorados and it was well-made, flavorful, and loaded. My folks both had the ¼ chicken and it was very tasty. Juicy and nicely seasoned. I highly recommend this place if you like simple, no-frills grub.

Not worth it. Better options around. We went there at 6.30pm or so on a thursday. The chicken wasn’t fresh, it was dry, and it was reheated on the griddle for about 5 – 10 min and it still was not warm. At or close to dinner time I’d expect the staple dish(peruvian chicken) to be piping hot rolling of the broiler. The yuca was good. Not going back. Sardi’s or Super chicken are better options close by.

The Chicken Is Good Too I had been going to this place every other week since it opened to get a taste of their Lomo Saltado. I never thought I’d ever get anything else on the menu, but one night Precious wanted to get her some of that Lomo Saltado, and it’s a big portion. We get it, and between the two of us, it’s sufficient. But Precious had an idea to take out the french fries, and without the french fries, it’s still a big meal, but it’s a big meal for one person. So Precious asked them to take out the french fries, and I wasn’t in the mood for a big meal. I don’t like to eat a lot after 4 p.m. So I thought I’d try the chicken. I got a leg with a side salad and a side of fried mature plantains. We rushed home and put Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper on the DVR and enjoyed. And I gotta say, it was good. It was damn good. It was so good I went back and got it again a couple of days later. In fact, I’m thinking about going there today to get me some more of that chicken. Peruvian style chicken is the best. The best, Jerry. The best! Also I like friend mature plantains, and Daniela does a good job with those too. I imagine I’ll be spending a lot of time at this place in the future.

Amazing Peruvian chicken and carne asada! This no-frills joint appears poised to become the ultimate local place to grab Peruvian favorites. Shortly after Daniela’s opened, my dad and I stopped by to grab a few carryout meals for MLB playoffs. My carne asada was a large tenderloin that was perfectly spiced, accompanied by black beans, rice, tortillas, and the classic Peruvian sauces. I ate it for two fantastic days in a row. My father’s ¼ chicken exemplified the tenderness and tastiness that we all look for in Peruvian rotisserie, and was accompanied by the same delicious sides. We could tell that Daniela’s was off to a shoestring start. The menu was written by hand and the kitchen and dining area were empty as can be. What’s not to love about a place that starts up on little money but a lot of faith in the quality of its food? I’ll give Daniela’s a few more tries in upcoming months as see whether it develops into its full five-star potential: That is, whether it becomes THE place to get Peruvian favorites in the Manassas area. Even if it doesn’t, there will be a lot of Daniela’s carne asada in my future.

When I walked into Daniela I was kind of shocked at the interior. Even though they had just opened the place still had a little bit of a warehouse vibe. There is a long(however empty) counter with glass display cases, and there was a very pleasant woman behind the counter to immediately greeted me. There are a few booths and tables in the front of the restaurants and taped to the wall and on the folding marquee was the menu and specials.(I can see they are working on putting the proper light up menu display board, but it hasn’t been installed just yet). I went in for rotisserie chicken, but the second I saw Lomo Saltado, my taste buds did a little dance and that was the choice for the night. Being that I was in a carbtastic mood, and I have no freaking will power, I also ordered a «side» of yucca. I say«side» of yucca, but what I REALLY mean to say is «huge, ginormous, massive amount of yucca, I was munching on for three days», but hey, THEY called a side. The Lomo Saltado was decent. Not the best I’ve had, but it was certainly nothing to complain about. It was a little bit juicer than some that I have had in the past, the«gravy» was a bit darker and thicker, and had a lot more garlic. I ordered«to go», and when they handed me the bag, you could already see the sauce starting to pool in the bottom of the bag(I hate that!). I think with some more practice, they will be able to bag up those orders properly. So here is the breakdown… the staff is great. The food is very flavorful and the portions are HUGE, I think it’s pretty competitively priced with the other Peruvian joints around the area. The«eh’s»… the atmosphere isn’t much to look at yet, the food takes a little long to prepare, and the«to go» packaging needs some work. With a little bit of practice and experience, I think Daniela is going to do well. Oh, and I didn’t witness any child labor while I was here, however I tend to think of it as a positive when I child helps out in the family business. It’s nice to see some values instilled in a child as opposed to them running the streets while their parents work… but that is just a personal view.

Went in and had½ a chicken, it was good. And for those of us that don’t speak Spanish, having that small girl there was very helpful. She spoke English. I will be back.

One major issue with this new place is there is a small girl greeting you and taking your order. Is this even legal? I called the police to check into it. The food is so-so. The yuca is good, but the chicken doesn’t have too much flavor. The beans taste like they were dumped out of the can and mixed with a little water and no seasoning except salt. I doubt I will be back, and if they are illegally using children for labor, I doubt they will be open that long.

New Peruvian chicken joint in Manassas. I LOVE Peruvian chicken. This place has a pretty fair amount of seating. Most signs/menu are in Spanish. The interior of the restaurant is very, very plain and quite ugly. Orders are placed at the counter. I got a whole chicken with sides of yucca and salad for about $ 16, take out. The chicken was very tender. The seasoning was good but it seemed under seasoned compared to other Peruvian chicken joints. For instance it was remarkably not as salty as other places. The juicyness of the breast meat was average. The dark meat was very good because it was so tender. The skin was average as well. Decent but not incredibly crisp. I feel like sometimes at these type of places you have to get lucky to get a chicken fresh out of the rotisserie. The yucca was perfectly crisp and the salad was just iceberg lettuce, tomato, and onion. This is decent Peruvian chicken and much better than most other restaurants in the area(i.e. five guys, fast food, etc). Not the best the area has to offer based on my visit, however, so I wouldn’t seek it out.
